I eat here all the time. Good burger, good value. Easy in, easy out.
I think it's better than Five Guys burger and certainly less expensive. For a fast food burger, it's my favorite. -

This location has good service and is good for in and out specialty burgers. Very underrated burger, with a value menu. The waffle fries are good and crunchy, how I like 'em. Attractive, well constructed, quality hamburger

First time here, and it was yummy!
I went with a couple of people and we enjoyed our meals. We had the Junior burger, which was described as a much better whopper. (I think that means she liked it!) The other had a Texan burger, which was really just a cheeseburger on Texas toast. He said it was good, nothing really special though. I really enjoyed my bacon cheeseburger as did the others (I'm good at sharing).
There's the option of waffle fries or seasoned fries, I opted for the seasoned ones. They are really reminiscent to Arby's curly fries flavor. We waited a bit longer than usual in the drive-thru, so they bumped our fries up to a large, which I thought was nice.
We all agreed that we would go here again! :) -

Still the best but could be better.
I lowered backyard from a 5 to a 4 on account of the last few visits I have had. The level of service has gone down a bit. I've had my last 3 orders messed up and the occasional rude folk at the drive through.
That being said they are still the best. My official boycott of all crap on a bun McWendyKings still withstanding, Backyard is always the way to go.
Just make sure you talk a little slower when you order and never ask for two orders of chicken tenders they will literally throw two individual tenders in the bag....I'm sure this was a one time mistake (at least I hope)
The food quality is always amazing. Near five guys taste without the heavy price and the wait in line (woo who for drive thru's) and an unbeleivable pineapple chicken sandwich.
"If you can't grill it in your own backyard, come to ours." That should be their slogan.
Catchy aint it. Hey BB, you guys can pay me for that one later.Listed in: Bite me

Multiple locations, but consistent in flavor and service. The burgers are always cooked to perfection and really do taste like the burger off my grill. However, a bit more salty. The selection/variety of burgers AND chicken sandwiches abound!
you can sometimes catch a coupon in the clipper and entertainment book... -

It gets busy here so you may wait. its a walk up and/or drive thru only joint so don't expect to sit and eat there.
The burgers taste like off the grill. They have a variety of selections unlike Five Guys.
For a fast food burger its probably your best bet for flavor. Remember folks...its called back yard BURGER... I can't speak on the chicken. -

For me a fast food burger has only one name.
I love Back Yard Burgers and Five Guys, but the latter is more of a restaurant to me, where you go and eat there. But when I'm grabbing and going... Back Yard Burger is my #1 choice. I don't even remember how McDonald's and Burger King's burgers taste like. Back Yard Burgers taste like the name, like they are made on a BBQ on a Sunday afternoon... even when is a Wednesday and you are in a rush to get to your afternoon meeting.
Thanks goodness I have one near my work and one near my house. -

I first went to this joint in Orlando a few months back while visiting family.
The husband had the Hawaiian Chicken burger and I had the bacon cheddar burger What a YUMMY YUMMY BURGER, you get a " top notch burger" for a fast food price. You cant beat that =)
now months later a coworker told me they opened a location in Dallas

Review from Janene H.
Not a bad burger place and definitely heads above other fast food joints. The burgers are all cooked to order at this little place where the only options are drive thru or walk up and sit on some tables outside with a lovely view of cars whizzing by on 434.
I guess I'm just not THAT impressed with the burgers, although they win lots of awards. The chicken on the Hawaiian was dry but they try to mask the fact with lots of condiments. The burger I had seemed a bit overcooked for my taste. The seasoned fries are very tasty though. Not a bad option if you are driving by but I never go out of my way for Backyard's burgers. -

Exactly what it sounds like. Tastes like real Backyard-grilled burgers (along with that little bit of over-cooked-dryness,). But much better than any of the typical fast food burger places.

Alas, this BYB has really fallen down on the job. The last few times we've visited the burgers have been overcooked & dry and the fries have been bad flavored (their oil probably needs changing) and very greasy. Heck, even the sodas have been flat. What a shame that they couldn't be reliable. We won't be back for another try.

I guess Back Yard Burgers would fall into the "fast food" category, but in my opinion the food is a step above anything that seems made at a fast pace. They have some great burgers...not too thick and meaty but not thin as pancakes either. They have plenty of varieties and toppings available, as well as some killer fries. You have your option between seasoned and waffle fries and both are delicious.
My favorite thing to get here is actually not a burger, but the hawaiian chicken sandwich. The chicken is grilled (not fried) and seasoned to perfection, with a slice of pineapple to top it off. The prices are fast food cheap, but the taste is definitely much better. -

Man I can't believe I forgot about this place. They have the best damn burgers at a "fast food" environment. The burgers are large all beef with all the fixings....yum yum.

I've only had the burgers and fries here so I can't speak about the restaurant in whole, but I'm not too fond of their burgers. Yes they're nice and thick for a decent price but where's the juiciness? I want some blood on my burgers. They cook all the burgers well done so what you end up getting is a thicker version of burger king's whopper. That's all it is really. It has that same overdone, burnt, charcoal taste as burger king. If you want an idea of what I consider a good burger, you'd have to go to Miami to a place called Flanigan's. Now that's a burger.

This is one of my favorite fast food joints. The cajun chicken sandwich is my favorite. It's not too spicy and has cole slaw on it. You can walk up or drive thru.
