I have dealt with back and neck pain ailments most of my adult life. I found Jaime's work to be profound and accurate. I stopped several years ago getting the traditional chiropractic adjustments because I tend to be hypermobile and have too much laxity in my joints and cracky-chiropractic-techniques left me good for a few hours, then worse a day or so later. I gave up on adjusting all together.
While researching the brain for my masters thesis, I came across this NUCCA technique and something told me, "DO IT". Not really having the time or the money to engage in a whole new healing modality, I did it anyway. This was a really good gut instinct I followed. I am VERY happy that I have found a method and a patient person to help me!

I initially sought help from Jamie at Back Into Balance for a sort of preventative maintenance. Competing as a triathlete, my goal is always to make certain I am in the best physical shape I can be in before getting into the thick of the season. What I got out of my experience however, was much more than I bargained for. During one of my visits I was deeply troubled by a recurring chest pain that felt like a freakin' heart attack. It would come in waves and was near debilitating. I had sought the advice of my friendly doc only to be prescribed antacids and sent home still writhing. As it turns out, there is a pathway of nerves that if stimulating incorrectly can bring about this type of pain. One adjustment and I had immediate relief. Granted, the pain didn't completely disappear, but it was down 50% at least!! In about a week's time, the pain had completely lifted.
Not to say too much, but in retelling this story to a friend of mine he remarked a similar story. He had suffered from chronically high blood pressure his entire life. Medications galore seemed to do nothing for him. Yet, an atlas adjustment of the type performed by Jamie helped lower his blood pressure.
I don't pretend to understand the mechanisms behind all of what Jamie and others like him do, but around every corner new medical discoveries are being made and to discredit any of them without doing our own personal investigation could have an enormous opportunity cost. I recommend you find out for yourself. -

Finally found an outstanding NUCCA doctor in the San Diego area. This is the best I've felt in months and I just played eight rounds of golf in four days with no back pain and no neck pain. I highly recommend Dr. Jamie Kaszer for back and neck issues as well as good health in general and really good sleep. NUCCA is an amazing cure for back and neck issues. My issues include thirty years of pain and three surgeries. I still said I would never see a chiropractor. NUCCA upper cervical adjustment is a medical marvel and I am in process of having my entire family insuring they are in upper cervical balance. My son has had similar positive experience in Chicago.

Back in March of 2010, I had a pretty bad spill on my road bike going down a very steep mountain in Santa Barbara. My helmet cracked, my left side was bruised and scratched up, and for the first time in my life I had neck and upper back pain. I had been seeing a traditional chiropractor for about 6 months prior to my accident for some lower back pain, and even though I never liked getting "cracked" (especially my neck), I decided to go back for an emergency adjustment. The pain was so bad that I couldn't move my head side-to-side, and it was so sharp and excruciating that I had to lift my head by hand in order to get out of bed. My traditional chiro only made things MUCH worse, so I decided to try something new.
After hearing about NUCCA on a podcast, I found Dr. Jamie Kaszer through a Google search, made the appointment and got in immediately. I was pleasantly surprised that all I needed to pay was $49 for a full set of X-rays! Jamie evaluated my x-rays, clearly explained the results to me as well as the payment options, and I came back 2 days later for my first adjustment. When he started adjusting me, I was thinking, "This is dumb, he's not doing anything!". But about 10 minutes after I left, I had absolutely NO pain and full range of motion in my neck. To think that the "dumb" adjustment I had was so incredibly helpful blew my mind. I've been seeing him ever since, and I'm always pleased by the friendliness of his staff, Jamie's kindness and humor, and the constant care I continue to receive. I'm now going 4 months or longer without having to be adjusted and my pain is gone. The best part was that I spent less on Nucca than I ever had on useless traditional chiropractic care. I was able to make payments depending on my comfort level, and they even worked with me if I was going through tough times financially. You really can't go wrong! -

My earlier review was removed. Clearly, they publish the ones they want to show. Maybe Jamie paid enough to put him in a good light. (He was rude to me and only wanted $$ - up front no less - even though the issue turned out not to be chiropractic).
