Review from Josh H.

I used to have chronic headaches from a lacrosse injury in college. They lasted for years until I finally decided to see Dr. Chan and receive regular treatments. The headaches have been gone ever since, and I seriously can't believe I missed out on the benefits of chiropractics for the first 25 years of my life.
If you want to find a Chiropractor but don't know who you can trust, go see one of the Chan brothers. You can count on them giving you honest advice and quality chiropractic care at a good price. Plus, their location in Chinatown makes for an excellent excuse to swing by for some dim sum and a boba tea after a heavenly adjustment. -

Chiropractors have always been right at the top of my Big Fears list, right alongside sharks and kidnappers. Someone suggested that I see Dr Chan to help with my chronic headaches, and when I decided the headaches outweighed the fear I gave it a try and I'm so glad I did. It really helped that on my first visit he explained every adjustment that he did beforehand so I'd know what to expect. I also like that he took x-rays and spent some time explaining the medical theory behind his treatment plan. Over the course of a couple of months he gave me different exercises and stretches to try, which helped narrow down the cause of my headaches. I've gone from having 2-3 a week to having one every couple of months. I've seen both Dr. Brian and Dr. Mike and really like them both.
I've also had some appointments with Dominic, their on-site massage therapist. He is extremely effective and in a few appointments he worked out knots I've had for 15 years. Don't be expecting a relaxing spa massage like what you'd want for your birthday - this is a no-frills, get the job done massage. He's really nice and very effective.
Two thumbs up for Back and Neck Pain Center from me, and it turns out they're way less scary than kidnappers and sharks. -

Over the years I've gone back and forth about chiropractors, but due to continuing back and neck pain, I kept looking for someone who I could trust to make a difference in improving my health. I finally found that person in Michael Chan. He takes my long term health serious, and was the first chiropractor I ever went to who required x-rays up front so he could really see what was going on. He is friendly, listens well to concerns, and has effectively helped me work past having pain as a regular part of my life. He is at this clinic M/W/F, and can be found in Bellevue other days of the week.
The staff is very friendly, and the wait is rarely long. Parking could be easier, but is not terrible considering how close it is to downtown. Highly recommended. -

This just shows the power of Yelp and any other online review forums. After speaking with the owner via email and the billing department via phone, they have waived any balance on my account. It looks like they just updated their billing system and it may have sent some bills out inadvertently. Obviously this is understandable and it does happen. Their handling of the issue was satisfactory so I will up my review to 4 stars as the service was good. That being said, I can't provide a 5 star review as the person who mailed the bill should have seen that it was from over a year ago and flagged it before it was sent. I know it wasn't auto-generated because there was a physical stamp on the bill that a person had to put there. All in all I'm satisfied but will be saving receipts from all of my doctors from now on.

Dr. Brian Chan is a man of the utmost integrity and professionalism. He works hard to heal his patients. He is brilliant at curing those who need him. I recommend him highly.

Dr. Chan is excellent! I threw my back out playing rugby the other day and didn't know if I would be able to work the next day. I went in to see Dr. Chan and I'm glad I did. After that first appointment he had me come in for some follow-ups. He gave me some stretches to do and advised me on posture. He answered all of my questions professionally. This guy really knows his stuff. I was able to work the next day - a little uncomfortable still but I was able to stand up without grunting. The whole thing resolved with his help in about two and a half weeks. I would and have recommended Dr. Chan to my friends and family.

I've seen chiropractors over the years, but Dr. Chan was the first to diagnose what was giving me lower back pain, and gave me simple exercises and some orthotics that have changed my life. He is incredibly informed, but at the same time talks in terms that are clear to me and paint a clear picture of what is going on and how it can be treated.

I have been a long-term client of the Back and Neck Pain Centers. I have had appointments with Dr. Brian and Dr. McKenna. Both are gentle and make me feel very comfortable during and after adjustments. They are also both great about remembering who I am and interacting in a friendly way. The support staff treats me well. At one point I had a car accident that involved complicated billing, and the staff went above and beyond to settle all billing issues with minimal headaches for me. I also appreciate that the doctors don't try to over prescribe treatments; I feel that the have me come in as often as genuinely required. Finally, the times that I have had an unexpected pain (like after my accident), they have always been accommodating about seeing me right away.

I have had a few injuries, some major and some minor, that were well identified and treated by Dr. Brian Chan. He has been able to treat my back injury without invasive surgery which was an alternative recommendation by other doctors. If you're afraid about going to a chiropractor like I was, you'll be in good hands with Dr. Brian.
