Always great pizza. I go for the special thin crust. Just the right crispiness and amount of sauce every time.

Great pizza, nice environment, helpful staff.
Was dead empty at 11:15am, and by the time we left, packed to the gills with a line for slices too. Great lunch crowd.
No complaints. -

I've only done the slice to go deal but it is the best deal in town - $4.15 for a deep dish slice and a can of soda? It's cheaper than a value meal at McD's....and way better tasting! Their spinach deep dish is really good...as good as the big names in town (Giordano's, Eduardo's, etc)
Reading the other reviews, I think I might have to branch out and try some other foods next time.
I am always surprised there is not a line out the door for these slices, but maybe the obscure location keeps people away....I'm not even sure if there's a sign outside and I had to look at my receipt for the name of the place (after visiting there for 4+ years!) -

My husband has been telling me for at least 3 years that Bacinos has really good pizza. I always nod and say yeah I bet they do and just kind of blow him off. We met here to meet a friend and sign some paperwork and I have to say, the trip just changed my mind. I think he might be onto something...
I started with caprese salad and it was so fresh. Great tomatoes, huge chunks of mozzarella, asparagus even? Perfect amount of balsamic, yes.
We ordered the stuffed spinach pizza with mushrooms and I have to admit I was a little nervous. I want to like spinach pizza but it frightens me. I like spinach but not THAT much. You know, like you're biting into a package of thawed frozen spinach? Yuck. I like cheese and tomato sauce and crust. And enough spinach but not so that it smacks you in the face. And this was just that pizza, I was amazed.
And I ate leftovers for the next four days so I can definitely say that this is some damn good pizza. I stand corrected. -

It wouldn't let me save it without a star, but I can't actually 'star' it yet because I haven't actually eaten there though I tried to, and here is why.
All I wanted in the world was a single slice of pizza, and to eat it there. But this is not possible. If you want a slice, you have to take it to go. This is what the guy at the desk told me with a straight face. I looked to my left into the near-empty restaurant, and back to the worker. "I can't eat it here?". Nope.
So even though I wanted to spend my money on this place, and told them it was just exactly what I wanted that day, I could not.
Weird. -

Only have ever had their slices to go, so can't comment on the dine-in service. But the to-go is fast, cheap, and freaking DELICIOUS. Better than Connie's or any number of deep dish places I've been. Not greasy, perfect temperature, and you get a slice and a soda for $5?? Heck yes!

Slice of stuffed spinach with a mug root beer, extra spices. There are some day when I *don't* go to Bacino's for lunch and order this, and every time I return I realize that's all I ever wanted. Why do we stray?
I come here for takeout and have never received less than stellar customer service. I've never had an unsatisfying slice. I've never had to wait in line long enough for my ADHD mind to realize I'm actually waiting in line. In, friendly, out, yummm.Listed in: School lunches, PIZZAZZIP

I've walked past this place a million times and never bothered to stop in. Probably because the entrance is awkwardly placed making you go through a couple sets of doors to get in.
You'll have two options here: 1. Get a slice to go or 2. dine in. A friend of mine and I dined in here for lunch and ordered a medium thin pizza with green peppers and pepperoni. We also had some garlic cheese bread for an appetizer. The bread for the app was really good and the garlic wasn't too overpowering at all. The sauce however was really watery and somewhat bland. I was worried the pizza would be in store for the same fate.
Thankfully I was wrong and not all sauces are alike. The pizza was really good and the medium size was plenty for 2 people with some left over. The toppings were really tasty and the cheese melted perfectly. The sauce was thicker that the previous and spiced just right. I only wish that the thin crust would have been a little crispier. It wasn't soggy and held its own well, but didn't have that crunch in enjoy on a crispy slice.Listed in: Lunch in/near the West Loop

If you work in the area, this is THE place for a lunchtime slice. (Sadly, I'm hooked, and can't help but get lunch here at least once a week.) Combo with a soda is well-priced, and delicious.
Dined-in once with a small group, and the experience was fine--nothing good or bad to report. Prices on carry-out are good, so we've stuck to that option.
Also, cool note, you can see their place in the Dark Knight movie when Bruce Wayne pulls out in his "subtle" Lamborghini. -

Great lunch deal. For carryout a slice and a drink for under $5. I've never dined in at this location, but have at the one in Lincoln Park. The pizza never disappoints and the salad and pastas are really good too.
I recommend the stuffed spinach. -

Just when I thought I had found all the pizza in chicago (yeah right) another unknown (to me) contender arises. Now let's not get carried away, I'm not talking in generalities after one visit but rather a specific wonderful offering. The stuffed spinach pizza at Bacino's is just awesome. No frills, no gimmicks just an awesome balance of ingredients and for under $6 with a side salad its a pizza craving satisfying lunch you can't beat. I am new to the west loop area lunch scene and am glad to find a local delight. Will surely return for an update.

Came here for lunch with the office crew. The waiter was a little absent, but my water glass always stayed full.
We ordered tons of food, all of it yummy. The appetizers were all tasty, but I especially enjoyed the goat cheese wrapped in zucchini. It wasn't the best I've ever had, but it was pretty damn good. The one pizza I didn't enjoy as much was the bbq chicken. The bbq and cheese were dumped in large splotches and the chicken was in the shape of little cubes. I'm not sure if it's supposed to be like that, but it wasn't my favorite.
The sausage pasta was excellent. They skimp on the sauce, which was fine with me, especially since I was wearing a white shirt. (I'm proud to report no spills!) The desserts looked tasty, but I didn't get any as I was completely stuffed with two pizzas, six appetizers, and my own bowl of pasta. Very tasty, very filling.
Also, we've had pizza delivered to our office. They're fast and the food is warm and devoured almost instantly. Their stuffed spinach pizza is amazingly perfect in every way.
Also, I'm happy to say that you can order pizza by the slice. -

I used to have this stuff every Friday; an old boss would buy us all pizza on Fridays, and we'd awkwardly sit around eating in the conference room. I recently revisited for a trip down memory lane. Decent pizza for what you pay for; of course, I prefer not paying but I got by under $10. Not the best pizza but I'll take it.
Thin crust spinach and thin crust pepperoni is good. PS...cold pizza in the morning? This place is great for that. :) -

Very very good value and quality. The chicken sandwich carryout is 8.5 but you get a real chicken breast on foccacia with mushrooms, giant mozzarella cheese and a side salad that is as big as any dinner salad costing $5 anywhere in the west loop. It's quite a meal and far healthier than the junk food available at subway, panda, epic burger, chipotle... It's real food. Best lunch in the area.

A note of caution when you walk in through the double doors at the building look right and walk up the stairs...thats where the restaurant is!
Bacino's is a nice cozy little restaurant, they have a simple menu with the basic Italian staples. I love their small pizzas, my two favorites are the Pesto pizza and the Margherita.
Its not the cheapest place to go for lunch, on average for one person is probably about $10 without tip for dining in. Its good solid food and a nice place to go with a co-worker in the middle of the day just to get away from a crazy work day. -

My buddy and I got off of the train in Chi-town with vision's deep dishes bouncing in our heads. So I asked a young professional on the street where some good pizza is and she directed me to Bacino's, thank you who ever you are! We arrived just before the lunch crowd, thank goodness. We ordered the garlic cheese bread and medium bacino's special stuffed. I've had Chicago style stuffed pizza before but this is the pinnacle of all pizza EVER! Amazingly good, the dough was cooked perfectly all the way through (this can be very challenging when cooking deep dish pizza). Perfect cheese to sauce ratio. Even our simple garlic cheese bread appetizer was delicious. Simply breathtakingly delectable. This has to be the best pizza in the country.

the service i recived was terrible, i was over charged for the pizza witch is pretty pricy to begin with. ($28 for a large thin with delivery.) when i called to ask about the price i was told that i was explained cost for additional toppings but was never given a price. they ended up charging me for every topping, who charges more to take away a topping?
Any way they said they were going to correct it but my card still shows the overcharge.
the only reason i am even giving it 2 stars is becuase the pizza is pretty good, but not for that price or service. -

around the office we jokingly call it 'diet pizza'. taste it, and you'd have no idea why. i cant say i know exactly what makes bacino's pizza 'heart healthy' but i do know that they clearly use fresh, quality ingredients and dont rely on additives to get you hooked. you can actually taste the ingredients- it doesnt taste processed or preserved.
as if that wasnt enough, these guys are genuinely nice and considerate. just the other day i ordered a pizza for delivery, and was quoted a time. i got a call back about 20 minutes later, basically saying 'sorry, we're actually gonna be 10 minutes later than you were expecting.'
whaaa? who does that!?! aaany other place would leave me out in the cold for an extra 10 minutes without thinking twice. thanks for taking the extra step, bacino's! -

Excellent pasta and sandwiches. Their table side bread is the bomb! Very reasonable prices and they always have a table!

I have eaten here for lunch four times now (only because there are a lack of decent places for a quick lunch in the west loop). It has gotten progressively worse, and I will never go back again.
* The service was slow.
* The meat tasted terrible.
* The salads were bland, and the dressing tasted old.
*Finally - what Italian restaurant charges $1.95 for a basket of plain, old white bread??? -

I have never had a bad meal at Bacinos. Any kind of pizza or pasta is excellent! My favorite sandwich is the Grilled Chicken Breast sandwich with fresh mozzarella. Plus the prices are very reasonable with a very pleasant service staff.

I LOVE deep dish and this is one of the better places I've been to. Similar to Giordano's stuffed pizza. When you're starving, that first bite is heavenly. They also have slices there, so its good for a quick lunch.
