Babies R US the Baby Superstore
2 reviews for Babies R US the Baby Superstore
I'm laughing at the previous post. Yes, if you are not expecting or plan to be, this store may seem like a horror movie.
But if you're looking for all the crap your kid is going to need, this is a good stop. You'll notice BRU only carries select brands, so you may want to check with the manufacturer's website for particular items like strollers, crib mattresses, etc.
It's a good addition to another registry, but by no means a one-stop shop.
Let me first get this straight: I am not having a baby.
But now that all my friends are starting to have them, I am forced to make a trek to this "Baby Superstore" out at Perimeter to buy them gifts from their registries: Winnie the Pooh bathtime kits, onesies with puppies, stuffed giraffes, and the like. Apparently, you need a lot of stuff when you're having a baby. A floppy seat for grocery cart rides for instance. Is this really really necessary?
Anywho. This store is alright. I guess. It's full of lots of moms with strollers ready to knock you over, complete with their screaming children.
Right now, at this point in my life....going places like this just represents ONE BIG HEADACHE, and serves as a great reminder that I am not ready to have children. Sort of like free birth control. Thanks, Babies R Us!
