This location is a new combo Toys R Us and Babies R Us -- which also means the square footage in the Babies R Us is smaller then the stores I'm used to.

Because it's a new store, there's a heavy distracting odor of new paint and materials. The store needs to outgas for a few weeks...

Compared to other Babies R Us stores, it seems like this one has omitted a lot - gear, clothing, furniture, books. It's more like a Babies R Us lite.

On the plus side, Babies R Us stores have a Mom's room for feeding or changing. If you have a baby that needs to feed every three hours or so, it's nice having a dedicated space should that time hit when you're out.

Dads take note: this location is not far from the Red Hook Brewery. Go pick up a growler while mom's shopping.

if you have a baby chances are you will have to visit this depressing place sometime.  the service is friendly but totally unknowledgable, they seem to be out of anything you actually need (like diapers in the right size, socks for baby), their shopping carts are big and busted, and there seems to be creepy people lurking in the shadows.  and there are so many friggin dumb, loud, offensive toys spilling out into the aisles.  my advice, if you can find it ANYWHERE else, avoid coming here.  everytime i come near this place i vow never to come back (only to find myself back here when my baby reaches the next developmental stage!).
