I stumbled across this studio a few months ago and love it. The heated Vinyasa classes are awesome - challenging yet welcoming. Every class has a variety of levels amongst the participants and I've found the instructors to be helpful and encouraging. I would highly recommend this place to anyone in the area!

I started prenatal yoga here in August '08, Saturday mornings (and I'm NOT a morning person, let alone while I was pregnant and tired)... and I stuck with it up until 1 week before my due date-- that says a lot!
Kathy is a great instructor, and any time we had subs, they were great, too.  All very friendly, knowledgeable, and qualified.
The atmosphere is low-key, but you can get as much out of your yoga practice as you want to put into it.  The new studio is also great-- more space and shinier digs!
They have some toddler and kid classes, and also community classes.

Really enjoyed trying out this yoga studio. I did the 2 week new student special and took several classes which were all good.

I was wishing there were a few more later evening classes for after work, and mid-morning for when I get off of night shift. The heated flow wasn't very hot, but I did find myself sore the next day so counted it as a success!

All of the instructors were really helpful and respectful, asking if it were okay before assisting you with poses. The owner teaches classes and is really great in teaching the yoga language, as well as encouraging you to  feel good about doing what is best for you without feeling like a loser for not being able to bend into a pretzel yet. Also, you can use the equipment without paying for a "rental" like you do in just about all the studios in Cambridge/Boston.

I'll go back, as long as I can fit it into my schedule!

I love B Yoga! I've taken five or so different classes there and they've all been great. They're all great, but Vito's heated flow on Wednesday nights is definitely my favorite. I love it because he really pushes you, but he's supportive at the same time. He's really good about gentle correction. I usually wake up sore the next day!

Kathy's fusion class on Monday nights is great as well. She's such a kind soul and her class is challenging and relaxing at the same time. I always leave it feeling wonderful.

I started going to B Yoga in January 2010, after a multi-year lapse in doing any yoga at all.  Its a nice place and I'm still going 1-2 times a week.  The atmosphere is warm and calming with a nice mural, hardwood floors (bamboo?), and dimmed lighting.

The range of classes is good -- the Sunday Over Easy class is nice and mellow. Relax and Renew on Sunday is also mellow, but more intensive stretching.  The Heated Flow class with Bobbie on Tuesday is a great workout, as is the Sunday Flow class with Lauren.

I have been trekking to Somerville/Cambridge for hot yoga until I discovered we had heated yoga right here in Melrose.  This is not exclusively a hot yoga studio, but they have 3 heated classes per week.  They are not as hot as, say, Baptiste or Prana, but I am soaked by the end.  I have also been to their Friday night candlelight yoga class, which is very calming and serene.  It is not a power class and the focus is more on breathing and stretching.  The instructors are good.  The studio is small, but even a full class allows people room to move, unlike Baptiste where you're lucky to have 4 inches between mats.  They have mats, blocks, straps, blankets and bolster pillows for use.  They also have a changing area.   I find the dark wood floor of the room appealing.  The classes I've been to are done in low lighting.  Prices are comparable to most other studios and they have a $7 community class on Wed. night.  They also seem to have programs for teens and families.
