So, if you love your car and want a body shop that will put it back to the way it was before the damage go here!
So I got my new 2011 Subaru STI in November 2011 and my luck 3 months later someone decided to change into my lane with me still in it.... I received damage from the end of my front fender all the way to the back bumper. The damage was pretty bad, deep scratches dents and the rear fender was pretty crumpled.
I then started the process of looking for a body shop and saw these reviews and was pretty sure this was the body shop I wanted to go to. I then asked my friend who had to get body work done on her 5 month old BMW X3.... sure enough she had taken it to this shop to get the damaged fixed. So I checked out her car to see the work 1st hand. It was perfect.
I decided that I would take my baby to B-Line.
All I have to say is wow... they did perfect work. Everything looked great, they were even able to save all of the factory body parts! I looked the car over and over and there is no sign of the damage, no over spray or anything. I looks as good as it does from the factory. They even got the work done in 4 days....really...I couldn't believe it!
-Perfect work and crazy fast turn around time!!! I could just keep going and going but if you want perfect work done go to B-LINE!!!!!!!!!!!! -

The owner of the shop worked with me to get my gripes resolved and i am pretty happy with the outcome. It turned out that one of the parts was defective and they replaced it without me even having to ask.

Another place worth taking my time to write the review. Recently encountered a rear end on my 06' Imola Red M3. As others have suggested on yelp and on m3 forums, B-line is best there is for BWM in the south bay so I decided to give it a try. My car was taken care by Brent who was very friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and supportive on getting aftermarket parts at the same time. Brent provided an estimated quotation for the repair, proceed to order the parts (~a week including the aftermarket), and I dropped off the car on the following Monday. Enterprise and Hertz is near by so they can pick you up at B-Line, but in my case Brent gave me a ride to Enterprise. When I got the car back on Thursday the car looked just as new, good color match for Imola Red and good fitment around the edges for bumper as well as the aftermarket parts. Overall it was a good experience with B-Line and definitely will go back again for other services. Highly recommended for BMW owner.

Took the M3 in for repair after damage to the rear bumper/tail light. Great service from start to finish. They worked closely with both my auto insurance company and the rental car company to ensure that my car was fixed with minimal disruption to my already chaotic daily life. Hieu was excellent at providing me with timely and frequent updates via email.
I personally spent minimal time there - once to get an estimate (5 minutes of photo taking and I was done), once to drop off my car (where they arranged for me to be transported to/from the car rental location), and once to pick it up (when they were all done, and I just left my rental car there, which they arranged to have picked up).
A beautiful repair, well worth the $$$ (which was ultimately covered by insurance). After I picked it up, there was an issue with the brake light warning signal. They just told me to bring in my car at my convenience (which was 3 weeks later in my busy schedule) -- they diagnosed and fixed it within an hour.
Thanks B-Line for making a potentially stressful situation less painful. And for doing such great work on my car! -

Very friendly service. I was recommended here by Stevens Creek BMW for a few minor scratches on my car that I was going to be selling. I figured, getting a few scratches taken care of would greatly add to the value of the car.
I worked with Peter Imamura who was very professional and friendly. He took a look at the minor scratches and had someone come out with a polisher and buff them out for me.. FOR FREE! Amazingly the scratches were gone
I couldn't believe the customer service here even though I technically wasn't a "customer". Since then I've always kept B-Line in my address book in case I ever needed bodyshop work or if I was ever asked for a recommendation. -

While driving on 880 into work, a truck runs over a pallet which breaks into pieces and bounces off the hood of my "dent-free for 4 years" car in two places leaving dents on the hood and cracks my windshield. I screamed, "Nooooooooooooo!" as it happened, but what can you do...such is life.
Fortunately, we knew exactly where to go as our friend had his car fixed at B-Line. Angela was very knowledgeble and kept us up to date. When we picked up the car, the hood looked even better than before the pallet damage. It was beautiful, shiny, dent and chip free, and the paint matched perfectly. The windshield was replaced with BMW glass instead of after-market, and everything lined up perfectly and looked great.
Highly recommend B-Line for those looking for a body shop for their BMW. -

I unfortunately had many opportunities to take my beautiful BMW 330 ci convertible to this shop in the three years I owned it before it was totaled by a drunk driver.
The first incident was to replace the rear bumper cover. It was a very simple and straightforward accident which left the other guys' license plate bolts and a clear impression of the numbers on my bumper. They handled this job with speed and ease.
The second incident was much more extensive. I was backed into by an SUV and the rear quarter panel, bumper and passenger door frame had to be replaced. This took a couple weeks but ultimately looked good as new! The paint matched everything perfectly even though by then it was already 2 years old and on it's third bumper. They even gave me a bottle of touch up paint for being such a great repeat customer...either that or they were taking pity on me. At this point, we were all on a first name basis.
I then took her back in for some minor touchups for dings etc. and have been happy with all their work. I only wish my car wasn't such a magnet for collisions but then I wouldn't have known about this superior body shop.
5 stars, absolutely no reservations or exaggerations about it. -

Super! Our car got hit by road debris leaving damage on the hood and windshield. B-Line has built up a reputation in the South Bay that if you need body work done on a BMW, they are the place to go. This was my first time there and it's clear why they've earned that reputation.
The did a great job; the staff was friendly and knowledgeable, the quality of the work was fantastic, and the work was completed very quickly. The only downside is our new OEM windshield is from a different supplier than the original OEM windshield (Saint-Gobain-Sekurit vs. Pilkington so the corner logos are different and don't match the rest of the windows. Not a big deal, as I'm sure the part number is the same across the multiple suppliers BMW uses or they no longer use them as a supplier). Regardless, I am still extremely pleased with their work. -

If you are looking for the best available repair work for your car and you need an honest opinion, you came to the right place.
My History with B-Line:
- BMW 325 '06 got sidecollided with another vehicle. They did flawless work. The car was a lease and the dealer's comments were...the car is in excellent shape.
-Porsche Boxster '05. Based on my great experience with them, i decided to bring my car to B-Line. I initially had my car towed to a friend's repairshop. The initial estimates for repair were 12k. Since i plan to keep my baby, I decided to bring it to BLine. And the experience was phenomenal.
#1 They paid for the towing truck
#2 After careful review/estimates and close work with the Insurance, they offer me a total loss. Putting zero $s in their pocket, but building a great credibility and confidence into the integrity of this shop.
B-Line you deserve my 2 thumbs up and any future business. No matter what car, I will drive. -

Unfortunately, another rear-ender a month ago necessitated a visit to B-Line. They took a bit longer than estimated due to their staff falling ill and taking time off so work was getting backed up. Still, they opened on Friday(they open Mon - Thurs) so I (and other customers) can pick up my car. But crap, my radio and NAV were not working. The owner says they will try to fix it and I bring it back in the following Monday. They can't figure out the problem and end up sending it to Steven's Creek BMW. Took 3 days to resolve the problem but they gave me a rental (it's a little Hyundai Accent) in the meantime.
While they took longer than anticipated to repair and there was the radio/NAV problem, they made sure it got fixed in the end so I'm keeping the 5 stars.1 Previous Review: Show all »

I can only echo what has already been written about B-Line. Simply flawless workmanship and stellar customer service!
My wife was involved in a collision in our 5-series in 2008. Significant front-end damage. B-line took care of everything, and made it as good as new! When we brought it back to them this week (Jan 2010), 18 months later, to ask for their help diagnosing a problem with the sunroof, they treated us like we were their best customers or family members, and got the problem resolved right away.

Unfortunately for me, I've had to have my 2007 530i repaired nearly every year since I purchased it.
I was referred to B-Line by the Dealership from which I purchased my BMW. I am so glad they recommended B-Line.
I have always worked with Peter. He is knowledgeable, extremely adept at timeframes for the amount of time my car will be there, and has helped me on 2 different occasions work with my Insurance Co. to get the best repairs for my vehicle.
My car has always come out looking clean and better than before.
I would highly recommend B-line for any and all BMW body repairs. Their staff is knowledgeable, efficient, and you always feel like they are in your corner. -

I got into a minor fender bender and my bumper had to be replaced. I was referred to B-line from the dealership. The whole process took about 3 weeks to complete and I got my car back as good as new. I wanted to avoid talking to the person that hit me as much as possible so Angela at B-line was great with handling everything with him.
They also took care of superficial scratches that were unrelated to the accident free of charge . Everyone there is super professional and made the process of dealing with a minor accident as stress free as possible. -

WOW! Awesome service & Happy Customer! I called today at 9:20am on a MLK Holiday and they were open. I spoke to Mike about my diffuser issue coming off. I told him the previous installer only used double sided tape. He told me to bring it in same day by 11am or before 1pm. I got in at 11:35am and was out of there by 12:45pm. They corrected the problem and my rear diffuser is installed as it should have been done the first time. I will never do business with RJ's in Pleasanton, CA. B-Line has always been recommended and should have used them to begin with. Now I know why! Thanks Mike @ B-Line for excellent customer service in getting me in on same day I called and for making my rear diffuser fit the way it should have been.

I had a very bad overall experience with B-Line. I had to replace my bumper and to do minor touch-ups on the trunk. When I called B-Line for an appointment, they scheduled me for an appointment 4 weeks later because I have a "small" and "non-urgent" repair. I decided to wait because I was recommended B-Line by a friend. They told me that my repair would be completed in 3-4 days. When I went to pick up my car on the 4th day, they told me last minute that it was not completed! I told them that I had a car rental which I had to return and if they could do something about it. They said "No". I asked if they can get it fixed the next day. The next day, I went back to pick up my car. Well, not only were they late, but the repair was not done or had poor workmanship! There were still scratches on the trunk that required touch-up. The bumper still had minor components that were not completed. I couldn't believe that they were going to deliver the car to me as-is! Being that it was Friday afternoon, I asked them to return the car to me so that I can get the rest of the problems fixed on Monday (they are closed on the weekends). They said "NO"; they require me to pay for the repair before I can claim my vehicle. I said, my insurance will be paying for it. Also, it would not be reasonable for me to pay for a vehicle that is not completely repaired and repaired on-time. We went back and forth angry and frustated. They threatened to call the police because I would not pay for the repair unless it's completed. Anyways.. I am sure you can see where this conversation was spiraling...

Our BMW was involved in a minor accident and everyone suggested we bring it to B Line in San Jose. Located off of highway 280, B Line is the best place to take your BMW to get fixed since they specialize in all BMW models. They ordered the necessary parts and paint and let us know promptly when the manufacturer had a delay on the parts. We dropped in unannounced to see the progress on our car and one of the employees lead us to the car and chatted about the progress. We had a minor problem when we picked up the car, one of the bolts on the tires had not been properly tightened but other than that we were very happy with the results on our car.

the customer service and workmanship here is absolutely flawless! i've had to bring my car in a few times for both rather major and minor repairs and each and every single time it came back good as new, as if nothing had ever happened.

So as I was warming up my 5, my neighbor decides to back out in a hurry without looking and BAM!! SHE T-Bones me with her big ass Honda Odyessey !!!!......... [-___-] what a way to start off a friday !!! anyways.. after all the insurance, phone numbers, etc.. exchanges I quickly drove my car to B-Line to get an estimate done. This is where I met up with Angela, She was very well appointed and quickly examined my 5 and told me exactly what was wrong, what it needs, and how the insurance process goes....
So after a week of going though different auto-body shops and getting various estimates etc. I choose B-Line, and I am SO GLAD I did!!!
after only about 2 days after I put my car in they found a lot of things wrong with my 5 that I had no prior knowledge about. They did some CSI stuff and found out that my car's B Pillar, and right rocker was previously in an accident and was fixed in an inferior way. So they quickly addressed everything with a solution and FIXED it all !!! I seriously think my car looks better now than when I first got it back in '04 !!!
.......So I'm telling all of you ! if you get into an accident with your BMW and don't want the hassle of calling the insurance companies, Car rental places, etc.... just make it easier on your self and go straight to B-Line!!! they do EVERYTHING!!!
I want to personally thank Angela of B-LINE since she was there for me and my 5 from the very beginning to the end & made the whole process easy going and virtually stress free!! -

We are very glad to have chosen b-line body shop to have a rear bumper cover replaced. They came highly recommended by online bmw forums and by the stevens creek bmw dealership.
Great customer service and perfect workmanship. Peter was always wonderful to deal with and had the car back to us in two days. If we ever need body work again, I wouldn't think of going anywhere else. -

Took my BMW there to have the rear bumper repainted. They did a flawless match on the rear bumper, however on the walk around i noticed that there was a 3" long scratch through the paint on the front fender. Looked a lot like someone dropped a tool or scraped it with a putty knife. I know it wasn't there prior to dropping it off.
Initially, they were resistant to fixing it but after several conversations they agreed to take care of it. Didn't treat me very well, but their work was excellent. -

I can't really recommend B-Line highly enough.
I've now had a couple of things fixed by them --- driver side door lock, sunroof --- as well as some body modifications ---- custom bumper work, carbon fiber defuser.
Peter, Michael and Frank were all very, very helpful and knew what they were talking about (especially about the intricacies of carbon fiber repair). I feel that they offered a very fair price, no bull shit, and kept me the customer involved and aware at every stage of the process. -

I have a M3 that was hit in the back. Needed to go to the best of the best since i barely got my car. Researched and found B line. I waited to write review to see if there were any problems.
All i can say is they are the best. Great customer service, amazing work. I cant keep telling you what great experience it was. The only draw back is it's a bit pricey compared to other local shops, but then again you pay for what you get. Its a must if your a BMW owner. -

This evening on my way home from work I stopped by B-Line to get an estimate on my BMW 525 wagon spoiler which I have snagged two times before requiring a $1000 replacement. I was hopeful that this time was minor and would simply require screwing things back into place. When I arrived at an hour before closing time I filled out my form and was asked for the keys. Within a half an hour it was put back together for no charge. I was delighted! Everyone was courteous and friendly.

Excellent service. Extremely high quality of work. Great integrity. Hard to find a body shop that meets those three, but this one does. They were referred by a friend a few years ago. They specialize in BMW's but will work on any car.
Unfortunately, people like to run into my car (three times) and now it's contagious and I've been the culprit. I'm way less stressed about these small accidents knowing that B-line will make my car look new again. They've always delivered my vehicle looking brand new.
The only issue was once when the paint started to wrinkle after a couple of months. The problem was a paint formula change required by government air quality requirements. They promptly took the car back and repainted with a more stable paint.
Peter provides great customer service. He's highly knowledgeable. He follows up and always has the car ready on schedule or ahead of schedule.
They're not the cheapest, but if you're looking for quality, this is the place to go. I've been to more expensive shops that performed equally or not as well. -

I had my BMW repaired here, the car was repaired on time and in good quality. I was kept posted with the progress and given update on the timeline several times. The customer service representative is very friend, the owner even drove the car with me to make sure it feels the same as before. I highly recommend this place.

My 325i was keyed while parked in the Tenderloin district. Someone engraved my trunk lid with the letter "Y" a few years ago. When I was rear ended recently, I needed to replace the rear bumper . I had the key damage fixed at the same time. B-Line did a great job -- they are perfectionists -- the body looks brand new. I would highly recommend B-Line Body Shop for any BMW body work.

I cannot speak more highly of B-Line. I took my BMW 3-series there for an elective procedure (i.e. non-collison cosmetic paint work) after much research. Angela and Mike were awesome and kept me informed the whole process. Customer Service and ease of doing business was great as I did not have an appointment and they literally started working on my car same day. In my opinion their expertise matches or exceeds competing body shops. In fact, a BMW dealer originally referred me to a huge chain that rhymes with "Lotto Vest" who wanted to completely re-paint multiple body panels; B-Line educated me that you never want to remove all the paint if you can avoid it because no shop can ever reproduce the original manufacturer bonding of paint-to-steel. Lotto Vest only cared about my Insurance. I highly recommend B-Line. I can't even see my chipped paint spots!
