I just thought I'd let people know that this business has closed down. The original owners sold it and, unfortunately, after that it just seemed to die slowly. :-( So sad....
PS Yelp wouldn't let me post this without a rating, so I've given it five stars, based on what I'd have given it under the original owners. As a Brit, I loved shopping there then, despite the expense!
(I tried to find a link to let Yelp know the store had gone, but none of their automated "contact us" subject headings seemed to work for the information I wanted to give them, and I'd hate people from out of town to have a wasted journey.) -

I went on a sunny weekend and found that they had a great and quite vast selection of British goods. From steak and kidney, Shepard's and pork pies to some of the best tasting Cadbury's chocolate, this place was surprisingly impressive.
However, as Alex F. already mentioned, you really have to check the expiration dates for the dry goods as they might be well off! Another thing that's a bit of a bummer is how far this store is from the city. I know many people that would be interested in British goods but don't want to travel. Overall, if you are in the area, you definitely have to make it a point to pass by but make sure you bring a cooler and make it your last stop if you are coming from the city or more than 30 minutes away. -

No more tea room here, but if you are looking for groceries from across the pond - you've found your place. I love to go here for those sweets that I miss from my studies abroad...things like flakes and violet crumbles. ...a hidden treasure of hard to find candies!

Meh. I had a high hopes for this place, and bought mostly candy from there on several occasions, until one day I checked the expiration dates. One item from a purchase was expired and others were close. I haven't been back since.
