I found B Haven on Yelp and was very happy to discover that the reviews were accurate! Kristin was very friendly and did a great job with my all over color and hair cut. I have bangs and have had some bad experiences leaving salons with very questionable bang trims but Kristin knew exactly how to cut them!
B Haven has a great vibe and I felt very comfortable there. The services are very affordable as well! I highly recommend it! -

The salon is colorful and Heather makes sure it is spotless! I was a stylist and had the pleasure to work with Heather many years ago, I have had my hair done from Beverly Hills to almost every place in SD, not to mention seen the supposed best of the best. I can tell you, I don't let anyone else touch my hair. Heathers talent is second to none. She also truly cares about her clients, listens to what they are asking for, reasonable in price, and has a true passion for her work! She is not just an amazing stylist, gives the very best weaves and color, but an amazing person. She is funny, she'll make you totally comfortable, and you will leave there having laughed, and feeling like you've not only had the best color-cut, service, but like you've met a new friend..
She has trained Kristen to follow in her techniques, so if you just can't get in to see Heather, Kristen will give you a great cut and color too. -

I have been going to Heather at B Haven for years and will never have my hair professionally done by any one else, she's spoiled me! Since I'm rather adventurous, Heather has made my hair every beautiful shade you can imagine, most recently a mouth-watering shade of red that keeps the compliments coming. Her highlights are amazing, and the best I've ever seen.
B Haven is easy to find and very comfy-cozy, not to mention a really cute salon! Time flies when I'm there chit-chatting with Heather while she works on my hair, I wish I could go every month! -

I LOVE B Haven! I recently moved to SD from New York City so my experience with hair salons has been that turning my hair from my natural color (not blonde) to my desired color (blonde) cost me an arm and a leg. When I walked into B Haven and met Heather and Kristen I knew I found my new home away from home. Kristen did an amazing job on my hair and not only did I walk out after having lots of laughs with my hair looking fabulous, but my wallet was much heavier than I ever thought it would be! On top of the stellar service and very reasonable prices, the salon is adorable! I'm giving B Haven 5 stars because only because I cannot give them 6. I HIGHLY recommend this place!

I'm moving down into San Diego soon, and I am so BUMMED that I might have to find a new place closer to me! Hopefully the drive won't be an issue, because I love seeing Kristen every month. I had a poorer-quality color job when I started coming here, but she fixed it immediately. And when I wanted to try a new shade, I just showed her a picture, and BAM! it turned out perfect. I always have fun when I come here, sitting in my chair with my hot coffee and chatting and laughing.

Try them! This is a local owner who hails from Pittsburgh area with incredible business ethics. The hair products are great too. It's behind the coast highway. I got my haircut by the junior hairdresser Christina who is really sweet. The cut just was not deep enough (in terms of layers) I should have said something right away but was so insanely busy that it took me three weeks to stop by and let the owner know. She went ahead and cut into my hair more deeply anyway, and did a great job. I'm sure had I said something to my first hairdresser she would have as well. These stylists really aim to please and specialize in long hair. a wonderful new salon with a comfortable, personal feeling. cuts are very reasonable, I think mine was 55. I really enjoyed talking with them too, very kind and down to earth. 4.5 stars!
