There's three ways to rate BED

From the outside it could easily be missed, over looked, ignored, or passed as some hole in the wall, but so can every other spot on collins or washington..

    5 star status-
Not only is the food great but eating it on a bed that's twice the size of your Cal King makes it even better! Dinner here, treating yourself to anything on the menu, with desert to follow, a bottle of grey goose, patron, and j.d. (for me) to close out the night (or morning), is nothing short of a VIP style night that you'll never forget.. Honestly that is the only way this place gets 5 stars, as a restaurant and club combined. If you come here for everything that BED has to offer and you do it right, you can't go wrong.. This way right here is definately ***** star status

    3 star status-
Night life at BED with bottle service only (skipping dinner) is ok.. IMO the beds on the left side of the club are better than the middle, or the ones to the right of the club. You can have a good time here but with out the dinner, this experience just isn't the same.. id rather get bottle service somewhere else.. If you're here for at least 7nights then I would include this as one option if you can.. Monday nights. *** stars at this level

    1 star status-
Now here is where you, or the club loses its star status, depending on how you look at it.. At this point you're just a drunk, or bored bystander, watching everyone else have the time of their lives.. Its just another small bar with nothing really great about it.. if you're looking for a club or bar to go to and all you want is to mingle, dance and have some drinks, go somewhere else.. there's nothing to see here :) * star at this level..

This place is great, do it big and you wont/can't go wrong, I promise.. unless you go with a bunch of losers/party poopers.. I go here every time I go to Miami, and save it for Monday nights..
Ps.the very 1st time I came here they had a swim suit fashion show =) during club hours lol

    MEH.

    Overrated.

    Dirty.

    Small.

    Whatever.

So what?  There's beds.  Whoopty-doo.  I have a bed in my house.  I can play loud music and eat there.  It's more comfortable and it's cleaner too.

Having just woken up from a coma in my bed on a Saturday night. I was thinking about how much I enjoy my bed which led me to thinking about B.E.D.! I went there several years ago with my bf at the time for our anniversary (you know it was ages ago bc a) I haven't lived in FL for almost 2 years now and b) I've been single for even longer than that!). What can be more exciting than having dinner and drinks in bed? I loved the concept and I remember really enjoying my visit! I wish they still had a location here in NYC. :( Guess I'll have to visit FL soon!

P.S. I didn't review this place before because I went here pre-my Yelp obsessed days but better late than never!

So I recently visited South Beach. We were told girls were free, given VIP wristbands, and escorted by a "promoter" to the front of the entrance and we still waited for over 40 minutes!!! Um...no thanks! Then they had the AUDACITY to try to charge us a cover. Luckily, someone handed us their tickets and we got in.

I had a better time waiting outside! It was over-crowded and it was definitely an interesting crowd inside.....

I will never go back to this place. On top of everything, small half-shot sized cocktails were $15!! Good riddance!

Usually, for a place that charges cover, I'd have higher standards. The outside is nothing fancy and easy to miss, and the inside isn't much better. The crowd was pretty ghetto and we were the only asians there besides another group of girls from CA too. And we all definitely learned that the clubbing scene in Miami is not as dressy as it is in CA.

BUT since it was one of the only places that played hiphop/top 40s during ultra music fest week (I was SO tired of hearing unce unce unce everywhere I went), B.E.D. automatically went up in my book! We got tipsy and danced on the beds! Nice rest for our poor feet...

I guess it's not really my scene..but it was OK.

Drinks are pricey, the bouncers were a little weird, and the pole dancers weren't exactly what I wanted to hang around..

The beds were an interesting idea..but when you have 21 year old girls sitting there in their short skirts, texting away... doesn't exactly feel like a fun atmosphere.

I didn't have high expectations but was surprised by the service we received.

The Good: The food isn't great and my order of fish was horribly dry but Becky quickly fixed it for me.  My new order of filet mignon was out in a jiffy.  I filled out a survey and was giving free tix plus some other discount thing. We were also happy they let us bring our "drinks" in with us.  We had planned to stay for the club but the DJ's music choices were making us sleepy. Maybe he hadn't warmed up yet. This was a shoe-in for a 5 star review.

The Bad: Despite gratuity being automatically included we tipped more in cash. However, I guess that wasn't enough for B.E.D.  I checked my statement days later and discovered they added an additional $60 to my bill!!! That's the reason for the one star. PLUS the fact when I called to speak with manager, Melissa who answered the phone was less than helpful wth a nasty attitude.  I won't return to B.E.D. on my next visit to Miami.

So apparently the cast of Jersey Shore really like this place. Me...ehhh. Don't expect this place to be all swanky and sexy like it may appear on TV. In fact, it's pretty hood-rich. But hey, the cast of Jersey Shore isn't that swanky or sexy either so I guess it's fitting!

Bought our tix online for a Saturday night (which I highly rec). Music/DJs were great! Good mixes of hip-hip, R&B, soca, reggae/dancehall, and top 40 stuff. Drinks were mixed well, slightly pricey, but not too over the top. The crowd was pretty mixed but cool. I had to remember that in Miami, some people think they are Beyonce and wear whatever they want even though they look HORRIBLE (see pic!). But as far as style and decor, B.E.D needs some TLC. There aren't really any 'beds' here. The perimeter is pretty much tiered steps of one huge deep ass couch. And in the center of the dance floor, you can reserve a piece of a corn-fed, massive lumpy mattress. Not really what I was expecting at all.

Overall, not sure it was worth $50 pp for advance tix (can't imagine what it was at the door!), but we danced until 5am and had a good time. My advice if you go: get your tix online in advance and skip the bottle service 'bed reservation'. There's no need to waste your $ on a lumpy section of mattress space. By 2:30, those that did waste their money on it have left and then it's up for grabs if you want to sit, or sleep.

    Can we say 3.5 stars?

Pros: Fabulous food. Great atmosphere with the different colored lights behind some liquor bottles. (Did there have to be a mirrored disco ball there though?)

Cons: Slow service on a weeknight. Pricey if you're not prepared for the bill. Grimy feeling mattress covers.

The Chilean seabass was amazing. Let's establish that right away. The desserts were aesthetically pleasing. The drinks were strong, but not strong enough for the price -- I don't pay that much for a jack and coke anywhere in NYC.

It seemed like they were a little understaffed when we were there on a Tuesday night. We were only the 3rd bed occupied, but we often didn't see our waiter for quite a while.

Balancing a huge wicker mat in your lap (the plates didn't fit on the table in the middle of the bed that was obviously just for drinks) was interesting.

This is definitely a place for groups, as there were not only huge beds, but also another level of cushions above that.

Fun for the novelty (everyone loves being served in bed!) but I wouldn't go back unless someone else was paying and I had already pregamed.

Update in '08--i heard last night there there are new owners and while they have kept the bed concept, they've made other changes that I didn't think were improvements, like moving the DJ booth to the back. Sound was not the greatest anymore. And it seemed run down overall (though it was the last party of 8 straight days of WMC, so even the walls were probably tired).
    _____________________________________
What a way to start my first night at my first WMC!! Cool-as-hell bartenders that, when I asked if there was a coat check for my bag, offered to hold it behind the bar for me instead!

Good layout for either lounging on the beds (how that's possible when the music is that good, is wildly unclear to me), getting down on the large raised area across from the DJ stand, or (in guess who's case?) dancing on the raised area right in front of the DJ so you can woot woot right in their face like the happy kid in a candy store that you are!

Loved the fact that this place was right across from our hotel (chelsea)! Me and my girl friend got in np, once again, thanks to our hotel. We also snuck some new friends in saying that we were all staying at the chelsea...

Inside, it was total chaos. I'm used to lounging on beds at places like this but here, people were dancing on top of everything and anyone. And I'm not sure if we were there on a special night but the crowd was 99% black. Which is fine but just leaves little ol asian me feeling a wee bit out of place. Anyway it was fun but not quite what I was expecting.

Its was the Best of South, it was the Worst of South Beach.

B.E.D.  is easy to take for granted if you live in Miami and you can go there anytime but I remember when I first walked into the place back in 2002 I truly thought I walked into a P Diddy video! Cool lights, Big giant beds with people eating and drinking on them - hypnotic music - beautiful people.

I was not in New Jersey anymore. And every time I have returned just for drinks and to dance it has been great.

Dinner there is another story, the food is very overpriced even for SOBE and charging $22 for a bottle of water with dinner ...uh no thanks .

Also the Red Velvet Rope thing and " is your name on the list ? " thing is played out now ....

My experience there has been hit or miss but for special events and if you are on the list, by all means go ... but eat dinner first.

(Review for the nightclub, NOT the restaurant)

Just...........no. I really don't know what all the hype about this place is. Looking for a good club in Miami beach, I was dying to go to B.E.D. and this place turned out to be less than mediocre for several reasons.

    1. My boyfriend and I had wristbands (promoters give them out during the day telling you you'll get in for a "discount"), and they still charged him 30$ and 20$ for me. Excuse me? Okay, so we paid it since they don't even allow you to take a peak inside, of course sparking my curiosity even more. Big mistake.

    2. You can't go outside for a cigarette break. Once you're out the door, you are out, unless of course you want to pay the pretentious cover again.

    3. Drinks are expensive. I think a jd and coke was 14$.

    4. So crowded. Some guy, 5 times my size mind you, had the audacity to yell at me for standing too close to his cabana bed. If I had known whose bed that was, trust me, I'd not be anywhere near it.

    5. So ghetto. And not in a good way, ugh.

Before our trip to Miami, my boyfriend and I looked up several places to hang out and go for dinner and this was one of our top choices. According to the website, B.E.D. looked like a very cool and trendy place and I couldn't wait to go!

When we arrived for dinner, I was pretty disappointed. The beds did not look as awesome as they did online. The place looked pretty dreary  and it was really empty. They were playing some kind of Middle Eastern music and what looked like a slide show of someone's family up on one of the walls.

We were seated at a bed and had to take our shoes off. This place was different than any other place we had ever visited and I couldn't fully relax on the bed, since I was skeptical of what may have happened on it before our arrival.  Anyone know how often they change the sheets?!

We ordered an appetizer, two entrees, two drinks, and one dessert. Everything was served on the bed and everything was small. The food was good, but the portions were tiny, the amount of liquor in our drinks was minimal, and the dessert was barely big enough to share. The only thing that was not small was the bill. $150 and we were still hungry. I thought B.E.D. was going to be the highlight of our trip and it was a big letdown.

I was a little skeptical coming here since I had been to the spin-off B.E.D. in NYC for an event a few years ago, and even at that point, the place was past its prime.  But my friend received an invite to a fashion show there while we happened to be in town so we said why not?  We were on the list so no cover, which was nice.  Got inside and the crowd was cute and obviously out to have a good time.

Good mix of music and a fun, diverse crowd.  They do the whole grey goose bottle with sparklers thing, so that's always fun.  Fashion show (for the Affliction sportswear brand) came on around 1 am, and was nicely done, although I am thinking the "models" were really strippers.  We hung out a few hours after that and finally left around 4:30 am.

    Terrible. Awful. Unhelpful. Rude.

It was a Monday night and we were visiting from San Diego. Our group was 11 and we were just looking for a good time. B.E.D. was the only few nightclubs still open on a Monday night, and previously we had heard good things about the place. Obviously, it was wrong.

We get to the club, with no line and no plans to pay cover. A gentlemen offers us bottle service and gives us a pretty good deal. Two goose bottles for $275 a Grey Goose bottle, and a good spot in the club. When we get inside the club and the cocktail waitress is about to give us the bottles, she tells us that it's $900 (roughly) for the two bottles. We told her this is incorrect, she should speak to the gentlemen who gave us the "deal" that we were thinking we were getting. The cocktail waitress and I go back and forth and I tell her to talk to the guy outside. We finally agree to both go outside and I point out the guy who gave us the "deal." The minute I tell him what he gave us (and I know what he said, I was not intoxicated nor stupid), he immediately backtracks and goes back on his word. Summarized, he told me (very rudely) that he memorizes the bottle prices like no other, he told us that there is no way he said it was $275 a bottle, and I should not be putting words in his mouth, and that he specifically told us (obviously a lie) that it was $275 per (cheap) bottle and for Grey Goose it was $350 plus about 30% gratuity and tax which would be about $450 a bottle.

I calmly told him that he told us that the price he told us from the beginning was $275 a bottle for Goose, and that we were going to order two bottles for 11 people. He rudely accused me of putting words in his mouth and was adamant about never telling us that it was going to be at that price, and that if we wanted Goose bottles, it would be most likely $350 a bottle plus tax and gratuity. After a exchanging a few words, he walks away and calls us "cheap-asses." Afterwards, the manager tries and talks to me about how I should have never dealt with the initial guy, and politely tells me the next time I should be dealing with him about prices about the bottle service. Although him and I had a mature exchange of words, he was very rude to me when I initially was complaining about the prices and told me that I was not allowed back into the club. I told him that I had to get my friends, and he told me since I wasn't allowed back in the club, he is going to go in and tell them to leave, which I said that was fine.

Bottom line, I will never ever return to B.E.D, and prefer Mansion on any given night. B.E.D was extremely rude, cocky, small, hot, and tried to nickel and dime us. B.E.D. was terrible and completely left a bad taste in my mouth about Miami. Way to ruin my vacation B.E.D.

    Screw you guys.

From the moment I first walked into this place in 2002 I knew it was special. Just a sign that said B.E.D. outside and a bouncer who stood outside little did I know what I would find when I went inside. The DJ on the turntables was none other than Danny Howells. Let me see you throw your hands in the air was the words that came out of the speakers .. Lose control .. lose complete control. That's pretty much what I did.

Every month of March B.E.D. goes from being an ultra lounge that plays hip hop to an electronic music lovers mecca. There was one WMC when I went 3 nights in a row. Some people said that year it would've been cheaper to get a bed there than it was to stay at some of the local hotels.

I've seen Danny Howells , Richie Hawtin , Sven Vath , Robots , James Holden and many other world class dj's turn that room into their musical playground. WMC is not complete until you visit B.E.D. I'll be there once again this year for Danny Howells on Wed March 25th 2009.

I could fill up a whole page here with my experiences , but why don't you go and create your own.

You have to consider this place in two categories, as a dining experience and as a nightclub -
The menu is pretty unique the global fusion tapas will no doubt satisfy your cravings, I have to admit that it is somewhat uncomfortable to eat on a mattress --- but - evs... have a few drinks and go with the flow.
Later on, when the party really started - then it turned into a pretty interesting place - Interesting crowd and now the BED concept really starts making sense- people start getting confortable and as booze and other things begin to take effect the inhibitions begin to drop and the fun begins ... Check it out !!! Either for dining or party it will certainly be different than anything you're tried before.

Guys: Make sure you don't have holes in your socks!  And don't wear white socks!
Ladies: Wash your feet before coming here!  No one wants to see the dirt of SoBe on the bottom of your foot, while eating dinner.

So I didn't get any action in a bed while I was in South Beach, but I did have an amazing meal and dancing experience in a bed at B.E.D. and I am perfectly okay with that!

My friend and I walked past this place a bagillion times and never even realized it was B.E.D. until we actually had to go there.  Their doors are jet black and have no signs, so just pay attention to the address.

For foreplay, we had the Rice Paper Crabcake.  My friend and I are both Vietnamese and compared it to Vietnamese crab eggrolls, minus the fish sauce.  We continued with the Filet Mignon and Gorgonzola Sauce:  The waiter recommended the gorgonzola sauce and boy am I glad we listened!  I moaned with every bite.  The Chilean Seabass was good, but the white truffle yukon mash potatoes (with green beans!) was heavenly.  To climax we had the Dulce de Leche Souffle.  Seriously, my taste buds orgasmed with every spoonful.  Soft like a cloud and melt in your mouth.

I don't care that our bill was $125 for two girls!  It was worth every penny.

Later that night, we returned at 1:00am and thanks to the GM, we got in for free.  $20 for a girls on a Monday night is a little ridiculous, don't you think?  There isn't really a dance floor, but if you have enough money, I suggest you throw down for bottle service on a bed.  You get to take your shoes off and dance on top of them.

Our night here started off slow. Especially after we found out they didn't carry Jaeger but we drank plenty of Jack to make up for that.

The music got much better as the night went on and we were able to chill on one of the beds since it was empty and all.  The girls with the syringe shots are cool too!

What a disappointment. My friends and I were very excited about our dinner reservations as B.E.D. We came all the way from California and expected to be wowed by this popular Miami nighttime destination. The venue looked a little rundown to me....( I must be spoiled with the constantly renovated LA and Vegas venues.) I was skeptical about sitting on our bed , leaning against the wall behind us or even laying on the pillows. Nevertheless, we were there to have a good time. The vibe seemed pretty chill and the music was good.

Our waitress was wearing lingerie (get it..bed, lingerie..) but I just find it a little disturbing to be served food by someone in a teddy with her rear-end hanging out. The service was lacking...I think our waitress was very overwhelmed. The entire place seemed short-staffed. However, the TV show "the Bad Girls Club" was being filmed a few beds down from us and they seemed to get pretty good service along with the 2 girls sitting next to us who we discovered were the friends of an employee.

The menu was VERY limited..... so make sure you review before you go or better yet, eat before you go. FYI , don't get the souffle unless you love extremely sweet desserts and it's enough to share. The food wasn't bad, but the overall lack of attentiveness from the waitress, slow service and disengagement really put a damper on the experience. For the prices they charge for diner I expected A WHOLE LOT more. On top of everything our chandelier was broken and we had to ask 3 people to get a candle for our table. At 11pm the lights go out and it turns into a bonafied club. We were still eating our food so we needed a little bit of light so we could actually see what we were eating.

We were told that we could stay in our bed until someone purchased it. WRONG we were promptly kicked out at midnight even though not one soul purchased our bed for the remainder of the evening. We were upset, but were entertained by the Go-Go's (in Miami, Go'Go's mean stripper/pole dancers) on the stage. I will say I greatly appreciated the DJ's looong mix of Bey and RiRi. This is a good place for large groups, but because everyone is isolated in there own bed it is not a good place for mingling or socializing.

Lastly I was shocked that the restroom only had 2 stalls! With only 1 that worked. The restroom attendant had to flush the toilet for you!! It would only work if she did her special trick! This made for a very long and awkward restroom line.

    My advice for b.e.d.
    *paint the venue
    *call a plumber
    *remove the stripper poles
    *improve dinner service

**The only highlight was the cute promoter. He's a tall drink of water.... you will know him if you see him.

Jumping in bed with girls is easy, as long as you have a reservation at BED in South Beach, of course and you bring them with from Mansion.

The three (or more) of you can hop in the sack for a little dinner then party until dawn at a restaurant that replaces tables with plush, king-sized beds and mood music that heats-up as the night rolls on. (I only know that because I asked)

An acronym for beverage, entertainment and dining, B.E.D. takes sensual surroundings to a whole new level.

Feast your eyes on the Erotica Dinner Theatre, where fetish cabaret performances add a little spice to the aphrodisiac cuisine. I was kind of surprised to see they were still serving small plate after midnight.

On a Sunday night this was a better spot to close out my late night fun! Sweet dreams!

My group and I went here on our last night in Miami for Secret Society Mondays. We got in free and got a bed for the first 2 hours we were there. They told us that we would have to give it up if someone wanted bottle service but that we could have it for the time being. The place itself is very cool. Large canvas colored beds line the room. Some of them are surrounded by sheer white curtains that people can close for privacy. Drink prices were typical for Miami but after they ran out of well vodka they started using grey goose for the same price.

At one point I was somewhat irritated because a fellow patron of the club- not a manager- came and basically kicked us off the bed because he had gotten bottle service and that was his usual Monday night bed (even though there were 2 other empty beds available). Whatever, I gave him major attitude when he tried to apologize later. The other downside is that my friend left her bag in the bathroom and someone stole $200 from it. Although this would probably happen anywhere so I cant blame the club.

On a positive note, the DJ was good-played lots of hip hop but changed up the songs in the middle of them to keep things moving (he was the same DJ that had been at Dolce a few days earlier). I met the owner of the club as well, who was also really nice. I would definitely go back to bed.

Came to BED a couple times, but had varying experiences each time.  Once was for a friend's birthday, and the other was just a random friday night with my girlfriend.

The first night (a thursday), the place really was empty.  Not sure why that was, but it was not all that fun.  Ended up getting just a couple drinks, and decided to leave fairly early.  The music was okay, but nobody was really dancing.  Kinda lame.

The second time was much better though.  We decided to reserve one of the beds, and had some drinks and appetizers.  The place was much more alive, and packed by 12.  A much better experience.  They're food was pretty good as well.  You wouldn't normally think of eating at a club, but this was different all together.  I would definitely go back here.

Seven of my friends and I were visiting from San Francisco and we reserved a bed on a Friday night.

-The lamb dish tasted weird and had a funny aftertaste.
    -The lobster was off-the-hook.
    -The waitress was snooty.
-We asked for tap water and they said they didn't serve tap water, only bottled water.  So we ordered it and they charged us exorbitantly for VOSS water (you can buy this at Target).
-I paid $40 for the lamb entree but I couldn't finish half of it so I asked for a to-go-box.  They said they didn't have doggie bags!  Incredulously, I asked, "You don't even have FOIL??"  They said no, they didn't have foil!  I'm disinclined to believe this since they are in the food service industry and they MUST have foil somewhere in their kitchen in the back.  I guess that would make them liars.
-After we were done eating, they said we could stay longer on the bed as long as we buy two bottles of wine.  The cheapest wine they had was $200!

Between the eight of us, we gave them over $500 and yet they have the nerve to treat us so shabbily.   I've had better service at posher restaurants in the City.  Fantastic restaurants know how to treat their clientele with grace and decorum.

FYI folks: it's just a club.  Nothing scintillating nor electrifying.  It's ridiculous the amount one is expected to pay here.  Their website makes it look far more exciting than it really is.  The walls are white bare and there are flimsy, sheer curtains for each bed.  The decor was ordinary and boring.  They simply use rotating colored lights and show weird images on the opposite sides of the room. The DJ was aweful - Bad mash-ups and incongruous transitions between mixes.

I was extremely disappointed when I walked in, even more aghast at the service.  APALLING!  If I could give them a 1/2 star review or even a negative star, I'd do it.

Do I remember much about this night?

    Nope.

But we all sure look like we had an amazing time in the pictures!

(why am I not surprised DJ Pauly Delveccio and The Situation love this place?)

This review is for dinner, not clubbing:
So I don't watch reality TV, meaning I didn't know this spot had been getting walk ins from the MTV set. I just thought it would be a unique dinner on a Wednesday night.  The place was pretty empty, revealing that dinners are clearly their second priority behind peddling $400 bottles of grey goose to party people.

The service was ok, they had one newbie training with our waitress so we were basically asked everything twice.  They answered our questions wrong and again, didn't seem focussed on dinner.  When my fiancée wanted a glass of champagne they came back 5 mins later to say they didn't have any house champage but would we like a bottle of [insert trendy name here] for $200??

Anyway, the sea bass was fishy and the lobster was ok. All in all I would not go back for dinner but it would be a fun place to get drinks on a friday or Saturday night.

Place is lame.  Rundown, cramped old bar is not cool because it has beds.  Went on Yelp's recommendation and was severely disappointed.  Place was half empty, decor looked like a decorated gym, bartenders were slow, and the crowd was a little off.  A really tacky move was the projector showing pictures of b-list celebrities.
Places with cover charges can afford to be nicer and have a higher standard for clientèle.  This place is not nice.

Haven't been here since the renovation, but I'm quite sure it is still a cool spot.  Coming from New Jersey, and always hanging in NYC, I found it very difficult to find place in Miami that had a lil "urban vibe"....that is of course, until I found B.E.D.

Music was kickin', drinks were good & prices were average. Did not eat here, so I can't review the food.

One thing I noticed is that when I first arrived, the crowd was posh and chic, but as the night progressed, the crowd changed completely!
The crowd went from classy to assy! And it had gotten a little bit to crowded for me.

But I have to make a trip there to see how/if it has changed since the renovation.

If you're in Miami for the first time and want a taste of the nightlife, B.E.D. is a tourism must.

I would advise to eat dinner there, then stay for the action.

I would also advise to order the scallops for an appetizer and the
Chilean Sea Bass for your main dish. The souffle left much to be desired, so order something else.

The pole dancers are so freakin talented. Like WOW.
The service is decent, but they charge 20% gratuity cuz they dress in skimpy negligees.

Have fun, but expect to spend a lot on dinner and/or drinks.
Also, sit like a lady in your skimpy dresses, and get a pedi for your toes. Trust.

This is the 2nd time i've been here.  The last time was 10 years ago when they first opened.  10 yrs ago, the beds were white.  In 2010, the beds are now covered in maroon & emerald bedsheets.  um, okay.

The vibe is cool here, and you definitely go for the experience.  The food was okay, I had salad, ahi tuna, and the souffle.  The best thing is the souffle, which was accompanied by a shot of condensed milk.  It was to die for.  The rest of the food was okay.

It was hip hop night and it was okay.  We did end up getting a bottle and doing bottle service, and although our server was great, it was hot and they turned on the fans in the bar for us.  Though our server would accomodate us by pointing the fan to us... seconds later the fan was facing the people at the bar that were just standing there mingling.  I'm sorry, i hate to be a bitch, but we did get BOTTLE service.

Yeah, i'm over it.  I would never come back here.  I'm glad I came and if i compare both experiences..... it was awesome 10 years ago.  Classy classy classy.  Now its just kinda ghetto...

For all the clubs out there that do it now, bed was the first that I remember using beds for seating/lounge areas. That makes for a comfortable night out. I am sad to say the club has gone down in recent years. I first went here 3 years ago and it was HOT. Sexy crowd and packed inside. I went very recently and the place was about 60% full on a Saturday night. WHAT?? At Bed?? Banging hip hop and R&B used to set it off in this space. Drinks are fine. Overall the place isn't too expensive. I am just sad that I can no longer go to bed and star in my own Lil John Video.

This would have gotten 5 stars a couple years ago.

While "Beds in a nightclub" is no longer the show-stopper it was before, BED is a chill, nice venue for a show, with less attitude than you might expect from Miami.

They didn't make us wait in line with our pre-sales tickets.  & though they kept us off the BEDs until about 2 AM (hoping for someone to pay bottle service), noone gave us a hard time after that.

Sound system is good.  Two bathrooms(!) is really about 4 too few considering the size of the venue.

Best line heard, at Breakfast in BED in '06, around 9 AM:  "Ma'am, you have to wake up, or we'll escort you out.  There's no sleeping in the BEDs".    It was 9 AM, & I had done what came naturally---I'd fallen asleep.  But I woke up & left after the warning.

I pre-purchased tickets online through want tickets for the Dinner and Premium Open Bar special. Considering how expensive drinks are in South Beach I figured that it was a good deal. We walked in for our 10 PM reservations and were given a pretty nice bed. The place was very empty, they were playing elevator music...but we were just ready to kick back for a while and enjoy the open bar and food before the club began. When I ordered my drink that is where the problems started. I asked for a shot of Patron and was told that only "mixed drinks" were served. WHAAAAAAAAAAAAT???????? No martinis, no specialty cocktails (i.e. mojitos, margaritas, long islands, etc.) just vodka, rum, or tequila with soda or juice.

Needless to say I was pretty furious! Premium Open Bar and Mixed Drinks Only bar are completely different things and had I known it would only be mixed drinks I would've chosen somewhere else to go. I felt totally ripped off and expressed my displeasure with the host. He offered a shot of regular tequila as a consolation, but having already spent an absurd amount of money on Patron for the prior 4 days cheap tequila was not an option.

After I simmered down I actually really enjoyed the food and the drinks were suprisingly stronger than expected. The host eventually returned with 2 shots of Patron for me and my cousin and I felt that was a nice gesture. Luckily for us we had already been out til 4 am for the prior 3 nights partying so the fact that it was 90% women and we were kicked out of our bed at 12 (despite nobody else getting bottle service) didn't put much of a damper on our evening. However, I wouldn't exactly recommend this establishment as a place to party so I'm giving it two stars. If they didn't falsely advertise their dinner special I would've given it 3 stars...but I hate it when businesses mislead customers!

I was there when they had a promo Chicks w/Kicks!  Promoter was awesome, actually seen her again in Seattle!  what a crazy coincidence!  Fusion club had the promo and same hot promoter!

Food is amazing, atmosphere is great!

    (Dinner review only)

So this was an interesting experience. Shoes off, sprawl on a cushy "bed," lay back on some pillows, eat on a beverage tray. Ok got it.

Projected on the walls was the movie Wedding Crashers. Apparently we dined at the restaurant at the time BED had a special "dine in theatre" theme night. Pretty fun. The sea bass was amazing, like...melt in your mouth amazing.

I'm giving it a 3 because the service suuuucked. I'd say I was waiting for someone to stop by our cabana for as long as 20 minutes. No bueno.

If you ever actually ate here, the food was actually decent. Neat concept of a place worth checking out. Rating it a 3 because when we went it wasn't very packed and the DJ wasn't the greatest.
