I can finally take B&O out of my bookmarks!  Yes.... B&O has been bookmarked since I joined Yelp.  I was always oh so curious about it but just never managed to make it here.  Thankfully, I finally had the chance to try it out!

We were initially planning on coming for desserts, but after seeing their Bar Specials (all $3.50) we decided some savory food was in order too.  I decided to go with an order of Garlic Cheesy Fries, their B&O Express Cocktail, and a slice of their gigantic Tiramisu.

Their fries were interesting.  Definitely cheesy, but not so much garlicky.  Ali and I determined they tasted more Jalapeno than garlic, but were nonetheless enjoyable.  They piled on the cheese.... and really, anything with a lot of cheese is good in my opinion.  The portion was pretty decent.  I wasn't especially hungry, but with the help of the rest of my table there were still a few left over.

My oh-so-manly, chocolate, espresso martini was good.  They were a little heavy handed with the alcohol pour (not a bad thing) which was a little bit of a surprise.  I'm used to dessert martinis being more sweet, but really, no complaints.

The slice of tiramisu (approximately the size of a house) was quite good and left me wondering how I would possibly finish it.  Thankfully, the homies helped me with that.  The cake was a great consistency, but not as spongey as I'm used to.  The various creams were great in consistency and flavor and there was a perfect blend of coffee, chocolate, and booze.  I didn't get around to sampling any of the other desserts that were ordered, but sheesh... they all looked amazing.

Service was okay.  It was midnight on a Saturday, so there was a wait for a table, and a wait to order... and a wait for the check, but all in all it was okay.

More like 3.5 stars, but I'm rounding up as I'm definitely eager to try more of their amazing looking desserts.  I'll be back!

It's been a long time since I'd been to B & O.  I'm thinking - um... probably at least 8 years or so.  And I'm so happy and relieved to report that things haven't changed - if anything, it's only gotten better!

B & O is wonderful.  "Wonderful" is a word that oddly shivers my masculine spine a little - but damnit - this place is WONDERFUL and I'm not afraid to admit it.

If you're looking for a fantastic post-dinner date spot to settle down into some great conversation over a cup of coffee or tea, this is your spot.  Better yet, if you're looking to indulge in a dessert that will knock your socks off (or hopefully your date's...) go to B & O.  The cakes, pastries and cookies here are all amazing!  And if sweets aren't necessarily your thing, there are even a few non-sweet menu items worth checking into.  The folks at the table next to ours were digging in to some amazing looking sandwiches during my most recent visit here.

The staff here was incredibly nice, friendly and attentive.  Felt right at home as soon as we came in the door.

One big upgrade that's occurred to B & O since my last visit here is the addition of the bar area.  (I apologize if I'm a little behind the times on this - but like I said, It's been a LONG time since I was last here) Very nice.  So basically, if the desserts aren't knocking your date's socks off - trip up into the bar area and sip back a few cocktails.  (Sounds like a guarantee to me.)

I think it's fair to say that B & O just may be my new aphrodisiac wing-man.  And god-bless 'em for it.  And in case you thought I wouldn't say it again - B & O is wonderful.

My little sister came to town a few days ago, and of course I have to impress her with my knowledge of cool places in Seattle.  Some of my friends mentioned B&O as a cool place to go, so off we go to have brunch on a Thursday morning.
After driving around looking for parking (we ended up parking in Half Price books parking lot and bought about $60 of books), we were seated immediately.  Our server was quick and friendly.  We ordered some yummy espresso drinks and they were served immediately.  My sister and I agreed the falafel is the best we have ever had!  Crunchy on the outside, perfectly spiced, and moist on the inside.
We enjoyed a fabulous, relaxing brunch, and took some desserts to go.  I can't wait to go there again!

They put Dilettante to shame with their sachertorte.

Sacher what??? yup, that's the same thing they said at Dilettante.
You have to call and order the whole cake, but it's nothing less than chocolate ganache and apricot jam heaven. It is so good I hear bells ringing.
4 stars because "John" was less than professional on the phone with my lady.
But hey, leaves room to improve, since I've yet to eat here, and I can't wait.

I love this place to be so quintessentially Seattle. I finally made the pilgrimage to this legendary establishment on none other than New Year's Eve. What a fantastic place to have the last dessert and cappuccino of 2009, can't think of any place better.  I love being inside of this place, I can't wait to pay a visit to the bar part.  It is a great place to people watch too.  If someone visits you from out of town, you just have to take them here. They will love you.

It was surprisingly not that crowded at all at 9pm and we were seated immediately.  Immediately though, we were saddened by the bubbly male  server informing us that they were out of ice cream. OUT OF ICE CREAM?!?! Wait wait wait a minute, just grazing over the dessert menu I would guess that 70% of the items are a la mode. Of course the item I wanted to order, that poached pear dessert I've heard passionate serenades for on here is supposed to come with it.  I wouldn't want to order that without ice cream, that's the whole point of that dish, that lovely meshing of fruit and ice cream.  Damn, ok.....I'll have the cheesecake with raspberry sauce then.  We also ordered the chocolate pot and the tiramisu.

OK, the disappointment from Helado-gate was greatly lessened after trying all three of those desserts.  I can't imagine ordering the cheesecake with any of the other sauces available, as the raspberry sauce has just the right amount of tartness to offset the creamy sweetness of the cheesecake.  I would think that caramel or chocolate sauce would be a cloyingly rich alternative.  Yum.

The chocolate pot was well...chocolatey, in all the good ways with freshly whipped cream on the side. It's a perfect dessert on a cold night for chocoholics.  The tiramisu is served as triangle/pie type slice which is sorta unusual as I normally see it in square slices, but I think that's because their version isn't made with lady fingers, but actual cake with coffee liqueur maybe poured into. I don't think it's actually soaked it in to sit there in the case all day because I would think that the cake would break down.  I wonder though.. anyways it was really good too.

So yeah, everything we ordered was a hit and it was cool that none of us had ever been there before.  I am positive I will be back, I know my girlfriend would love it and can't wait to share that poached pear dessert that better be there...WITH ICE CREAM.

This review is for Bar 41 which is adjacent to B&O. It was, Meh.

My girlfriend I ordered mimosa and pormosa, both came out really weak. When we finished them, the bartender asked if we were all set. I ordered french martini (vodka and chambord) on the menu and what came out was a bitter cough drop with an after taste of sea weed. (How...?) At this point, we were really ready to go.

I've returned myself numerous times to this place, and yet I never did a review for this quaint spot.
If you find yourself wanting to become more cultured in Seattle cafe life make sure to pay homage to this place in Capitol Hill.
You've got two place of seating choices; the little intimate room to the left or the larger dining space off to the right.
I prefer the seating to the left. Pick the right spot and you'll get a clear view of space needle whilst dining on breakfast. Plus there is some great art deco wall decors.
Service is always genuine and ready. Best go there for brunching and chill out amongst the indie-hip couples.

Went for brunch, had the Crunchy French Toast and a side of potatoes. French toast was fantastic, potatoes needed more salt and seasoning.

Oh! The apple juice tasted VERY fresh and I could've had a gallon of it.

Will probably be back, but they lost a star for the cost. It is quite spendy.

Came here on a rainy night after a full meal, but there's always room for dessert!

Decor-dark, cozy, chic.

service-friendly

poached pear-OMG it did not disappoint!  It was poached perfectly and the sauce was not too thick or too watery.   I loved the texture of the pear and the creaminess of the ice cream.  The vanilla ice cream married well with the flavors.

chocolate souffle-it's chocolate souffle!  yummy chocolate cake on the outside and oozing goodness on the inside.  need I say more?

expresso-hit the spot!

perfect ending to a rainy night in seattle :)

When I first started coming here, I loved it. And I came a lot, at least once a week. But after a while I started noticing some of their many flaws.

Firstly, their food, desserts, and coffee are all very expensive. When I went (usually during dinner), my bf and I would get two dinner entrees, two americano's, and a dessert to share and we would be looking at a good $45- 50 (including tax and tip.) My biggest problem was that my bf's family has been coming here for over 20 years and so we have to tip well, even when the service is grossly unenthusiastic. The portions are also very small (once I got the waffle breakfast which comprised of a very thin waffle, a spoonful of jam and a thimble of fruit, and I mean THIMBLE.) Also, the wait can be horrendous at time.

The food (not matter how ridiculously smalled portioned it is) is great, the desserts are even better (but even smaller portioned), and the coffee is pretty consistent (although I have had burnt tasting coffee here). FYI, don't come here without getting dessert, the chocolate raspberry torte is my fav., so good I've considering ordering it for my wedding.

Best part? There's a guy who works here (or did, I haven't been back in a while) who has long black hair and is relatively young who cleans the tables and refills your water, I have never had my glass of water less than half full when he's around. Also, the setting and atmosphere is very romantice, think candles, fresh flowers and lace tablecloths. Oh, the bathroom is disgusting, and there's never a working toilet. Cheers.

Desserts are soooooo good. My friends and I ordered 5 different things because they all looked good and they were. We were there the day before Thanksgiving so they were running low but we still got good stuff.

Our waiter was a little weird though. He definitely made for some laughs. He wasn't rude or anything and it didn't affect our good moods, but he was an odd duck.

Years ago I used to live right down the street from this Capital Hill landmark and spent countless hours enjoying the coffee, treats and atmosphere.  I absolutely love that this place has withstood the test of time and has even improved by adding a lounge/bar area!

A friend and I made our way here and ducked out of the rain to find a cozy rustic and artsy atmosphere in which to warm up and embibe on a Sunday afternoon.  We parked ourselves at the bar and a very friendly and accomodating bar tender walked us through the menu.

Upon parousing the offerings and discussing their coffee cocktail options, this wonderful gentleman went about making me one of the best Spanish Coffees I've had in far too long!  Complete with fire side show and a smile!  This wasn't even on the menu but he had worked on a cruise ship so knew how to make one.  How is that for 5 star service?!

We ended up staying caught up in conversation for a few hours, our bar tender's shift ended but he was sure to fix us some follow up cocktails before he left.  I ended up with a lovely, not too sweet, Chocolate Martini that was divine!  We had the whole lounge area to ourselves however they were sure to check on us regularly.

This was the perfect end to the weekend and you can be sure I'll be back soon.  I'm embarrassed that I have forgotten our wonderful bar host's name, Justin or Jason?  Must have been the booze but he was fabulous and I recommend you pay him a visit!

This is so not the place to go if you are watching your waistline.  But definitely the place to take a shot.... A shot of espresso that is.  Don't forget to try one of their many exceptional desserts.

Pies, cakes, cremes, souffles... Oui.  Oui.

Awesome spot to meet a friend for a nonalcoholic adult beverage with some sugar to go with.

You know in Sex in the City, how the girls have the coffee shop as their hangout?  This is where my girlfriends and I used to go before we all moved on with our lives and apart from one another.  I used to live around the corner from this place too, which helped as I had extra parking at my apartment.

Anyhow, the chocolate pot is amazing. It is one of my favorite desserts, if not the favorite...and I'm trying to open a bakery!  This is the one dessert I refuse to share with anyone.  I politely offer to share it with the boyfriend at times, but he's smart enough to decline.  When the girlfriends and I get our chocolate pots, all conversations are on hold until we have licked the ramekin clean, I kid you not.  I've tried other desserts, and while they're all good, it's not the chocolate pot.

We used to come here so often in the afternoon, when it was less crowded, that the owner's wife became our "other mom." She would rush to us with club soda when one of us would spill sauce on our white shirts, she knew that one of my friends was allergic to vegetables, and would instead put all of her veggies onto our vegetarian friend's plate, and even once scolded me and said, "you don't eat enough and are way too skinny. I'm not taking this plate away until you eat at least two more bites!"

I love this place.  Service can be slow, but they also don't kick you out after your desserts have been licked clean and you're all still sitting around laughing and enjoying each others' company.

Let me give you some advice. If your waiter or waitress asks you if you want to see a dessert menu, say no. You don't need it. You have somewhere you have to be, namely, B & O Espresso.

B & O Espresso is the perfect place to hang out and talk after a long day or just enjoy a dessert, some coffee, or a cup of tea. You need to show your lady friend how smooth you are? Bring her here after a nice meal and share something sweet. You're welcome in advance.

The coffee, dessert and ambience here are all lovely. The breakfast is stellar, too.
This is a cozy place to be on a rainy day. It has a sort of crumbling elegance which is very "Seattle" to me.
The only drawbacks are the lackluster staff and pretty awful lunch and dinner.
You come here for coffee and dessert!!! As long as you stick to this rule, you will love this place as much as I do.

On Saturday night I came here with 3 other people for dessert. I ordered the red velvet cupcake, my friend ordered the chocolate pot and the two guys with us both ordered the bread pudding.

Everything was just "ok". I've definitely had better desserts at other establishments. I was extremely disappointed with the red velvet cake because it was a tiny portion, the bread was dry, and did not have the cream cheese frosting as they do at most places.  The frosting here was more "buttery" in taste.

The chocolate pot was so so. My boyfriend's brother's homemade souffle is 10 times better. He even serves it with vanilla ice cream. At B&O, the chocolate pot is served with a spoon full of cream here, similar to whip cream.

The bread pudding was partially cold, and not warm throughout. It was hard to taste the liquor sauce which is what one of the selling points for the guys' choice in dessert.

The service was extremely slow and our waiter seemed a little spaced out. As an out of towner, I don't think I'll be recommending this place to any of my friends traveling to Seattle. Even if I lived close by, I wouldn't come back....

I'm convinced that the baristas sprinkle little drops of heaven upon each drink they create.

Ok. Maybe that's a bit overboard, but I stand by the fact that I have yet to taste a better white mocha in my life, and I...well, I've tried a bajillion of them at this point. This place is nothing short of amazing. I'm finding myself more than willing to trot up those massive hills from Belltown to Capitol Hill just to meet my friends for quick cups of coffee, or for a relaxing, slow Saturday morning brunch at B&O.

When I first moved here, I would walk by this place and be deterred by the name. The letters B and O are not ones I necessarily want to associate with food and good drinks. But I can assure you, there is nothing in this place that stanks.

My recommendations on food and beverage: Check out the white mocha. No, seriously. Try it at least once. And, if you're feeling bold, share some bread pudding with a friend. Emphasis on share - the serving is DLKFjlajkj2wreo ridiculous. And, if you want a fancy brunch, and I know you do, treat yourself to the oatmeal. It's served with an assortment of delightful treats to mix in. You kind of feel like a queen eating it.

So, yes. B&O Espresso. Visit it. Drink it. Eat it. Love it. Yes.

i was told to try the valencia orange coffee. i did as i was told. i was not disappointed.

my dad and my sister were not as impressed as i was by this creamy citrus drink, but i could appreciate that it was difficult for b&o to overcome the challenge of introducing fresh orange essence to a cream-based drink without having the drink curdle.

like the tourists we were, we came during the day when the place was completely empty. the place seemed like more of a dining establishment than a cozy coffeehouse, since there were tables and chairs rather than couches.

so we drank our delicious valencia orange coffees and made our way out into the rain.

This place brings back some nice memories. My now fiancé and I dated long distance for awhile, and on one of my visits to Seattle several years ago, he picked me up from the airport around 11:00 PM and whisked me away to B & O Espresso for a late night snack.

When we arrived at B & O this past weekend for brunch, again en route directly from the airport, it took me a minute to realize that I had been there before.

I love the corner location and the red, funky interior.

I ordered 2 eggs over medium, a side of BACON!, and a latte.

That first bite of bacon was incredible. A thick, non-greasy, non-fatty bite of heaven. Wow, that was some good bacon. Good thing the side order came with 3 pieces!

The eggs were just standard. The latte was flavorful and was served hot enough for me.

Attentive, friendly, chatty, but not too chatty server.

I do wish prices were a little less expensive, but when I'm in Seattle again, I'd return here just for that bacon.

So a couple weeks ago my wife and I were taking a walk, seeing what we could do to try and induce labor naturally.

She decided she wanted some cake and wanted it from B&O.

:::Lesson to soon to be fathers:::
When your wife is past her due date and wants to go to the site of a previous trangression, you don't say "Remember the shitty service last time?"  you say "Sounds good honey."

I thought about saying the first, but I kept my mouth shuit and we were pleasantly rewarded.

Liz had a blueberry tart and a cheesecake of some sort, I had devils food.

The bakery service was nice, attentive and quick, and the cakes were excellent, albiet a bit too rich.

The first experience was still so dissapointing that this second good trip can only push it up to three stars.

Been here 3 times, and I can summarize in a couple points:
* overpriced ( two scrambled egg, ONE slice of toast cut in half, and a 4 piece "fruit cup" for $10.95???)
* quality of food is nothing special, on par with Denny's

Still have yet to figure out why people like this place.

Hello, my name is Valentina V, and I'm addicted to desserts.  I'm also addicted to cakes.  My hands tremble at the sight of cookies and gelato.  Or Rumballs!  Rumballs in Seattle?  Yes, THEY HAVE RUMBALLS!

*The reviewer has to take 30 minutes off because her Dude just put her straitjacket on, until the sugar fever attack passes*

Hello, I'm back.

Turkish coffee!  German Chocolate Cake!  Latte with Ghirardelli chocolate, house made caramel and whipped cream!  B&O cocoa, made with chocolate ganache and topped with real whipped cream!   B&O espresso mousse torte!  For the LOVE of God, Brioche Bread Pudding! Profiteroles au Chocolat!  LOUIS GATEAU cake (almond sponge torte layered with coffee butter cream)!

They have Louis Gatêau cake...*tears of joy*

*Breathes-in, breathes-out, repeats, repeats*

I think I'm going to faint.  The only think they need to put, in the middle of that delightful, French-inspired, quaint space, is a chocolate pool.  Then I'll be forever there, trying one dessert a day, and taking a morning plunge.

Thank you Lord, for allowing dreaming to be free. And for B&O good, good Turkish Coffee.

¡Delicioso!

I've been here twice now and really loved it. It's the atmosphere that does it for me: dark, soothing, and intimate. I would bring a book here, or a friend for a long overdue catch up session.

The service and bar is attentive but not pushy..more relaxed and laid back.  I like specialty coffee drinks but am not a huge coffee person, so the valencia mocha was perfect. And I was surprised that I scarfed down a huge slice of tiramisu all my myself. Had a taste of my friend's Muddy River and it was heavenly rich, creamy, and decadent.

For the last half decade of my life, I have been deeply committed to B&O Espresso.  We have gotten to the point in our relationship where I would wrong her if I didn't propose.  However, Washington laws are not so keen on men marrying bakeries... nor are they fans of the American Pie films (personal aside:  I don't do that to my baked goods... because I prefer them to be in my belly)

But still, if I can marry this restaurant, then I totally would.   We've been through good times (Chocolate Raspberry Torte, Vanilla Bean Crème Brulee, Black Muddy Rivers, Fresh Fruit Tart, Chocolate Pot Souffle, and Tiramisu) and bad times (White Chocolate Cake and the luke-warm curry soup).  We even managed to stay together when she threatened to move out and away from my life.  I'm glad she reconsidered and decided to stay where she rightfully belongs - on Belmont and Olive.

Although my B&O has some flaws, I still love her with all my heart... and you should too.

I haven't been in a while, but B&O used to be THE place my friend and I would go for late night coffee, desserts and girl talk. I've tried quite a few of their desserts, but I don't have a favorite. I remember being underwhelmed by the Tiramisu though, because I'm not a fan of Tiramisu-cakes.

B&O has a nice atmosphere, however, service can be a bit slow.

It pains me to give 3 stars instead of the 4 that it deserves but the fact that there were 8 of us sitting in the middle of the dining area with NO servers acknowledging our presence for probably more than 10 minutes was just too much to bear.

I've came here a few years ago and really enjoyed the desserts that I had then and so as a bridal shower group, we came to B & O to enjoy the sweets they have.  We were all ready to order, doing our best to make eye contact with ANY server (there were at least 4 that were walking around us) until finally I had to grab one server that was running by to ask if she could locate our server for us.

We ordered a wide variety of cake slices and drinks (teas, coffee, hot chocolate).  I ordered the white chocolate cake with raspberry sauce.  Although the tanginess did add a nice touch to the cake, I don't think I'd pay $1 extra for it again.  I'm not much of a raspberry fan in general.  The cake was not too heavy-feeling and the white chocolate was not too sweet nor tasteless-it was perfect!  I got to try some of the fruit tart (or maybe it was a strawberry tart since that was all i saw on it) and it was also very tasty-very sweet but not overpoweringly sweet.

The thing that irked me about our server was the fact that he didn't provide very good service other than the basic requirements of his position.  I'm wondering if the fact that gratuity was already included in our bill was the main factor for his apathy.  I guess it could also be that it was getting closer to closing time and he didn't want to give us a reason to linger.

Boo for service but yay for desserts!

Delectable Desserts...

A friend of mine told me we had to go here.  There dessert menu was phenomenal.  It had over 20 desserts on it.  I decided to go with a Creme Brulee, but considered these others:

le poire rouge - 7.25
pear poached in merlot wine, served with spice reduction sauce and french vanilla ice cream

profiteroles au chocolat - 7.25
a paris treat! cream puff shells filled with french vanilla ice cream sitting in a puddle of rich chocolate sauce

white chocolate cake - 7.25
with buttercream frosting and filling! raspberry sauce highly recommended - add 1.00

louis gatêau - 7.25
almond sponge torte layered with coffee buttercream

B&O is close to our home... so we go often. Had the food for the second time today, did not disappoint. I had the chicken kebobs and hubby had the chicken shawarma. For dessert, was a very moist and delicious carrot cake, french vanilla ice cream and a red velvet cupcake. All were yummy!

I know this place is supposed to be all about the desserts - and the creme brulee I had the other day was so rich and creamy and yummy and...  well, I can see why people go on and on about the desserts - however I come here for brunch whenever possible, because B&O has THE best corned beef hash I've ever had.  Truly.  Home made, amazing flavor and just the right amount of salty (not too much, not too little).  Anyone who likes corned beef hash, really must try it.

The service is great, the atmosphere is comfortable and the acoustics are such, that even when it's totally crowded, I can hear my tablemates perfectly well without any of us having to yell.

I'd like to take off only 1/2 star for the bathroom (the women's at least, I haven't seen the men's), but don't seem to be able to do that, so a star it is. The teeny tiny black & white tiles on the counter top make me dizzy every time I go in there (I feel for anyone in there with a hangover or heaven forbid an actual buzz); and the sink spouts are so close to the side of the sinks that I'm always brushing my hands against them as I'm washing (not super hygienic).  But the bathroom is kept clean even when it's busy, so that is a definite plus.

Shy of those little bathroom issues though, this place is my very favorite brunch spot.

I'm always on a hunt for amazing desserts and I always forget that B&O has pretty good food too. But this isn't a savory review - its a sweet review.

Even though we had just finished dinner in Lynnwood we decided to make the long trek back downtown, fight for parking on Capital Hill just to experience the wonder that is the B&O chocolate pot and their great coffee.   Even though the chocolate pot was a topic of conversation on the drive down my wife and I settled on the raspberry torte cake and the sour cream lemon custard pie.

Without being too windy about this - both desserts were awesome. The coffee was rich and bold and the atmosphere was exactly what I wanted after a long week.

It definitely made up for having to pay $5 for parking since apparently everyone in Seattle was on Capital Hill tonight.

The first time I went to B&O, a table of people left, because they'd been waiting half an hour for their drinks.  The waitress had a hard time believing that they were so impatient.  Something like that happens about half the times I've been at B&O, which, given my close proximity and predilection for dessert, is probably about once a week.  So... my review? The dessert is great.  The food is ok.  The wait staff is, by and large, too cool to care about getting you anything until you've been there so many times that they know you.

Imagine a Saturday where the unfolding moments converge into the rare pattern of decadence, indulgence, and productivity. Morning coffee and yoga class? Ninety-minute massage? Evening walk to Verizon to replace a broken phone? Trip to Metropolitan Market to stock up on cheeses, fruit, wine, and various sundries?

Such a full and varied day deserves to be honored with a lovely ending. And here I don't really mean dinner or bed. What I mean is dessert....Because that's what matters. And B&O Espresso delivers. Imagine a case full of cakes, mousses, and pastries of all glorious sorts. Tiramisu towering several inches high. Black Muddy River mousse encased in ganache, spiked with orange. Brioche Bread Pudding studded with berries, drizzled with whiskey. Dulche de Leche bars. I could go on and on.

I COULD go on and on, because my server's suggestion to my statement of needing a few moments to decide was "Well, why don't you go look at the dessert case?" That, let me say, did not narrow a damn thing down....

If you are not in the mood for dessert, I have little time for you. Even so, the rest of the menu has a nice Mediterranean influence; my eggplant dish was tasty and very fresh, and there were other tempting dishes on the list that I'd love to check back and try. The location is great; there's a small patio out front, and big windows all around if you're sitting inside, and it feels like a holdover from some smaller town whirled around and set down in Capitol Hill. Not too busy on a Saturday at 6:30, although by the time we left around 8 the tables, and the dessert plates, were filling up!

I love this place.  Great beer selection and even greater food.  The steak tacos plate and the salmon salad are WONDERFUL.  I've ordered both a couple times each and been more than satisfied every time.  The meat is always good and moist, the flavors are complex and delicious, and the portions are just right for me--not enormous, but generous enough.

I'm not a dessert guy, but they have some tasty treats as well. ;-)

This was a nice place to cap off an excellent night.  I simmered down with a latte which was pretty good.  I think the real catch here is their desserts though.  I think we ordered four desserts between all of us, and we "passed the dutchie to the left hand side".

I honestly can't remember each dessert, but the creme brulee:  c'est magnifique!

If I could, I'd give this place 3.5 stars.  The other thing, my friend was saying this establishment's time is running out.  Apparently, it is on the slab to get replaced by condos!  That's wrong I say, wrong!!
