This place is a great place to pick up some meats if you're down in Burien. The people who work there are always extremely knowledgeable and will let you try some of their cooked meats if you ask. The tri-tip beef is delicious and I highly recommend it (but be sure to get there early on the weekend because they sell out sometimes). The candied salmon is also wonderful - if you get little bits of it you have the perfect appetizer platter ready to go. It's always nice to find a good place that actually just sells meats and nothing else really.

Whenever I think about neighborhood butchers I always think of the Seinfeld episode when Jerry hides the pork chops in the couch from his meat eating girlfriend. She says, "I stopped by Tonys and picked up some mutton". B & E Meats would be a butcher shop like that; where you can pick up a pound of ground beef and some pork chops on your way home from work.
Although they have all of the basics covered very well, the reason I come to B & E is for the teriyaki marinated beef tri-tip. When grilled, the slices melt in your mouth with just a slight sweet teriyaki flavor. To cook this perfectly, keep your grill around 350-400 and cook on the fat side first and then the lean side for about 30 or so minutes total. The jerky and kalbi marinated chicken is also highly recommended.
Not only does B & E offer great products, but they also partner with local businesses in the area like Vino Bello, as noted in that review. They also have a location in Des Moines if you are closer to that.
