B96 I listen to you because you house the DJ that I adore. His music is tight and you even know it, because instead of Friday's at five, you play his music M-F at 5pm. I'm talking about DJ FLIPSIDE. Flipside at 5 gets my booty moving and can be heard on all floors in my house :)
I like the free stuff.
Thanks for the B96 Halloween Bash tickets.
I will be waiting patiently for my free copy of Flipside's CD.
Enjoyed the Battle of the Sexes game. Women rule. ( I have to thank G. C. High School for keeping me on my toes on current events). Why wouldn't I know that MLB is the sport that has been in big controversy with performance enhancing steroids? Is that something only men would know? I'm glad I didn't get asked the guy question about The Hills. I do not watch the reality show.
For playing today's game I won Flipside's Mix CD. Love it.
Since you took the podcasts down from your website:( I have been in need of new workout music. -

This station literally makes me want to kill myself.
That could be said for any radio station that plays the same 20 songs every day, month after month, be it "LA Woman" or "China Road" on the classic rock dial, or that Madonna wannabe, Katy Perry shitpile song about aliens.
This station is the movie "Groundhog Day" come to life. I'm not their demographic, but to hell with the freaks who program this music. I'm not even saying I hate the music they play. Lord knows, it's catchy as hell, but so is the theme song from "Full House". Would I listen to it every day? I'd rather masturbate with a cheese grater (thanks Andrew Dice Clay).
This station represents the most hollow, corporate, money grubbing, flow charting, insanely commercial aspect of the music industry...these stanky airwaves wreak of market research and musical visions whittled down so dull they make my brain turn softer just by listening.
Maybe that's my problem...I'm not supposed to really listen.
Or maybe I'm just a hater. When it comes to this format, yes I am a hater. -

It's a shame about the firings Eddie and Jobo and Erika in the mornings. Those 3 were my morning wake up and get ready routine team. I played them in my bathroom showering, drying my hair and loved their carefree banter. Their show was a humorous wake up call and Eddie and Jobo were such Chicago legends. Yes, they do play the same 10 songs over and over again but that's why we have iPods. Radio these days are for the personalities and the classic morning teams. They will be missed.

I grew up with B96 and been pretty loyal to Eddie and Jobo but it seems like the station is losing its luster...
Power92 is decent if you like Hip Hop -

OMG I love B96! You can memorize the newest semi-musical fart in just 2 hours of listening to B96.

Four stars because they have DJ Flipside at 5pm on weekdays. That guy is seriously one of the best DJs on the radio. Plays everything from old school house to current hip hop. And he actually MIXES! None of that bogus play one song, stop it, play the next song nonsense anyone with an iPod can do. The morning show isn't half bad either. Erika is a nice addition. I think it might be time for Eddie and Jobo to retire in a few years. They still manage to crack me up though.

Very upset at their decision to fire Eddie & Jobo! I understand their stated reasons why they decided to let them go, but AT LEAST give them a warning, a notice, let them know when their last day is, so they can say bye to ALL their fans!
I will miss them! They've been the start to my morning for years. I wake up getting ready with them. . .
Truly a mistake. Sad. -

Please, Please, Please I beg of you please! Quit playing that horribly annoying Lady Gaga (or whatever artist it is) song that goes Dadada..blah blah blah but sounds like a dying frog. I don't want to offend others but it really doesn't need to be played every 15 minutes- BARF!!

If you like the current hits, pop, rap and whatever else is popular you already know about B96. They play house music, too. I used to listen when I was a teen, but so many of the songs are so offensive nowdays....
