Josh did an engagement session for my husband and I and if he can make me look good in photos then he can do magic. The color, clarity, and arrangements were beautiful. He is really low-key, flexible, and easy to work with. His pricing is reasonable as he just charges for his time. Then you get the DVD of all the photos for you to do as you please. I.e. no more picking out which photo package you want to buy when really you only need a couple printed which can be done at the local walgreens or online.
Take a look at his pictures online and call him to talk about what you are looking for. Our shoot was pretty traditional but he threw in some artsy-er arrangements that are gorgeous and I know he would have shot anything we asked beyond that too...well maybe not anything...
Oh, and make sure to ask him what a snail says riding on a turtle. -

Josh @ Azulox Photography is one of the most entertaining photographers I have ever met. He has a great eye for capturing the perfect photo. I definitely recommend him to all my friends and family!

My family has used Josh at AzuleOx on two separate occasions for family portraits. He is a master of not only the technical side of photography but also the softer side of capturing the unique personality of his subjects. He turns his session into what is normally scripted and formal into something that is actually fun. He's also a pretty swell running-event picture taker and can make even the most exhausted runner looks like an Olympic champion.
Specialties
I specialize in on location Portraits with natural or added lights. Thats right, I come to you! No need to get the kids loaded up in the car, and hassling with Mall parking Lots. I do the driving, to your doorstep. The kids(or dads) feel much more comfortable in their own environment, making for better pictures every time.
I also do sports photos, particulary running, triathlons and equine events.
History
Established in 2008
The economic downturn of 2008 turned into an oppurtunity for me. I was working in a cube farm, feeling like Neo from the Matrix, my layoff was an oppurtunity to do something I love.
I started Azulox Photography shortly thereafter, growing and learning and struggling along the way. It has been challenge, but then again, all things worth having are a challenge.
Don't have much of a history yet, but that will change.

Did I mention I love taking pictures? In particular, I want to take your picture. I much prefer being behind the viewfinder than in front of the lens. I know, sounds like everyone else too. But I assure you that I am fun to be around, and that if I am taking your picture we will have a grand ol time. Might even break out some jokes. Trust me they are bad, but I have been practicing bad jokes since I can remember, much to the chagrin of my entire family. Just ask them about knock knock jokes when I was four. yikes.
I also like to run, particulary marathons and half-marathons. I know, I am a sicko. I train with Rogue Running here in Austin. They have helped me to run more miles than I thought my own body could handle.
So if you wanna go for a run, or you want your picture taken. (or both) Let me know because I am your guy.
