I've being going to aztig for almost two years and can't say enough good things about them. Chris and Sheila offer warm, welcome service and do a great job on my hair.
I rarely just turn my hair over to a stylist and let them do what they wish. But with Sheila, I have complete confidence in her abilities.

I can't believe it's been more than a year since I began coming to aztig! Let me just tell you that every experience has been a sincere pleasure. I feel so fortunate to have such a fantastic salon nearby my house.
I am delighted to say that Sheila, the master stylist, is the one now styling my hair, and I couldn't be happier. She truly is a stylist in every sense of the word. She really understands hair and how it plays with your face. At this point in the game we both know what works for me and we continue to improve on that. Every time she cuts my hair it's a masterpiece! I trust her all the way!
Apart from the sensational Sheila, this place is also well run by Chris! For instance, aztig leverages the internet to relay promotions and specials via Facebook and e-mail. In addition to that they also sponsor local school events, provide make-up and hair sessions for prom season, and even host events themselves. Think block party type of events right there on the premises.
What aztig does right is knowing how to rally their customer base and that makes them smart. They were actually recently featured in the Top 10 Salons of South Florida on Channel 10 based on all the support they were receiving via their internet marketing! They really are sowing roots quite quickly in the local community, and I feel that this will pay them great dividends down the line because it cuts across all age groups and families!

I had seen this salon a few times since I go to the sushi buffet in the same shopping center. Coincidentally, I was about to make an appointment when I got a LS coupon for this place. The coupon was for a choice of 2 services - so I decided to get a haircut and airbrush make-up. When I first walked in, the vibe was relaxed, yet modern. It's not a huge salon, but nicely appointed and a nice view of the lake. They offer mimosas on Saturday and have free wi-fi. Christine was my stylist who did my hair and my make-up. I really liked her style - she asked questions and listened to what I wanted. She gave me a great modern, textured cut and applied my make-up effortlessly. I felt like a new person when I walked out of the salon.
I would definitely recommend Christine and this salon if you are looking for friendly service and a great haircut.

Every revolution has its leader. We started aztig urban salon to meet the demands of the salon guest who accepts nothing but the best, and we decided to deliver this excellence seven days a week. Meet the Business Owner: Shiela G.
Shiela discovered her passion for hair styling when she was only 17 and sought a position within the prestigious traditional European David's Salon in the Philippines. She learned the ropes from the ground up, learning the intricate details and subtle nuances of European hairstyling combined with Asian techniques.
While in the Philippines, Cosmopolitan magazine featured Shiela and she soon landed a TV spot on the popular Philippines TV show Good Finds.
In 2005, Azta Urban Salon eagerly snapped up Shiela and she rapidly became their top-grossing Senior Stylist and Senior Technical Educator.
Upon emigrating to the United States, she set her sights on being a Master Stylist in Weston, FL and quickly began collaborating with De Fabulous as their texture specialist. She is their national educator for Japanese and Kerafusion Straightening treatments. Shiela's mission is to share different techniques where breaking the norm and pioneering new trends is essential for today's Hair Artists.
