Not all Azteca's are created equal. We typically eat at the Alderwood Mall or Northgate Mall Azteca's, but since this Azteca is just down the street from our house we thought we'd try it.
The food was horrible. The salsa tasted like it was poured out of a can of tomato paste. It was as thick as paste and had a bad flavor. The taquitos were cold and the nachos were almost carbon they had been cooked so long.
We're big fans of Azteca, but we'll definitely stick to the Northgate and Alderwood Mall locations. -

The food and margaritas were great but the service was lacking we went there and waited fifteen min to get drinks service was just not there to long time to get refills too did not make a good impression on us wikk not be going back a shame too cause the food was good

This is one of my favorite Azteca locations because of the staff. There is almost always a large jovial man (I'm assuming the manager and/or owner) walking around the restaurant smiling and greeting customers, which charms me every time and the waitstaff is normally very attentive.
As far as the food is concerned, if you've been to one Azteca you've pretty much been to them all. You can't go wrong with their sampler fajita platter. -

My husband and I eat out at least 2 times a week. We are really picky about customer service. Azteca in Mukilteo is outstanding in their customer service skills. We are always waited on immediately and in fact they know us so well I don't even have to tell them what I want to drink. After dinner I always like coffee and when my meal is done my waiter or waitress always knows to ask if I am ready for my coffee. Even if my husband and I are in another area of town we always make our way to one of our favorite restaurants.

We went here after a day of moving for some classic Azteca food and margaritas. For Azteca food, customer service and margaritas this was one of the better Aztecas.

I know its "family" friendly, but to keep the lights on in the restaurant as bright as they were.....you could have landed a plane in the dining room.
And with the quality and presentation, bright lightning is not always a good idea.
Although the service was ok, the server did not really seem all that interested, as I had to send my dish back to the kitchen as the waiter had made a mistake in taking my order.
Food was bland and not very tasty. -

I went to Azteca last night for dinner with my wife and the service was extremely bad. When our food was served, they asked if I wanted a refill for my Pepsi and the server never came back. I had to flag somebody after 15 mintues to get another drink. When we were done, we waited for the check for over 20 mintues, while other tables were receiving their check well after we were done eating. We were ignored the entire night from both that fat hairy manager and the server. Guess what? They got a $0 tip and I will never go back to that Mexican chain restaurant dump again.

Came in late for dinner on a friday. Great fast service and tasty strong magaritas and daiquris. Had the carne y mojo (skirt steak & shrimp) split between 3 people. Delicious and unanimously enjoyed. From the other reviews it sounds that, like most Mexican restaurants I have been to, it can be hit & miss. But I had a good experience when I went, so I have to give them credit for that.

This is our favorite Azteca restaurant. It's a little out of the way for us, but not far at all. We go here due to their great service and delicious Carne Asada. My hubby and I order the same dish all the time and it's always just like we like it. The waiters are great and treat us like family. Our favorite waitress is Norma. She'll give you top notch customer service each and everytime. Your food is served promptly and we get our special corner table each time we go, to keep out little one's out of everyone's way. If you want to check out one of the coziest cities in WA. and then catch lunch stop by Azteca in Mukilteo.

These folks put lard and chicken broth in everything, so if you are vegetarian or even vaguely health conscious, then this place is crap. I have had some decent meals their, but the menu is just too much of a landmine. I give up.
