I went to this place a week ago with one of my girlfriends and we both got piercings. We came here because we heard from a friend that they do 2-4-1 piercings. So we decided to check it out.

The second you walk in the door you are greeted by this big ass yellow boa and some other snake and it effing scared the shit out of me!

We were instantly greeted by the tattoo artist, didn't catch his name, but he was really nice and sincere. He is really funny too! He answered all the questions we had and kept us occupied when we were waiting for the piercer.

I didn't quite catch the name of the guy who pierced us, but he was cool! He was really funny too. I got 2 cartilage piercings and it costed me $50. Not bad at all, cause I've been to other place and they charged $80. It was $40 for the 1st piercing and $10 for the jewelry for the second piercing.

These guys were really professional and cool. The environment is very laid back so you don't get uber anxious or nervous. I will def come back to this place and go to the Riverside guy for my 1st tattoo!

I woke up yesterday morning and decided to spontaneously get a tattoo. Yes, I'd be dead if the parentals found out. Thank god I wear hoodies for all occasions! This is suuuucccch a hole in the wall place. I accidently went to Propaganda Tattoo on the other side of the street and felt extremely embarassed like "heyyyy I was wondering where do I find Aztec." 5 stars for the dude working since he was so nice about it.

This is located by the 7 eleven. As I walked in the 2 guys were so genuine! I had already talked to the piercer on the phone and he gave me wonderful information and made sure that I came in 30 minutes after since Nate would arrive. As MISTAH NATE was drawing my tattoo the piercer was saying something like "she's poking her head out.." and I was thinking "Ok...keep talking to yourself." Then he showed me the enormous yellow python the had at the front see through glass!!That poor Lucile, and her baby snake chilling next to her.

As for the tattoo Nate was talking the entire time, but he made sure it was perfect the way I wanted it. I could hear some of the dicussion he was having with me and my half enduring pain self. It hurt so bad! But beauty is pain. The tattoo only took 15 minutes! He gave me a play by play for aftercare. They are both so wonderful!!Probably some of the nicest badass artists you'll ever meet.

Just a note: Cash only. They have a atm in the shop but there's a 3.75 withdrawal price.

I had my lip pierced at another tattoo studio, and they completely effed me up. So I went over to Nate at Aztec. Nate is awesome! First, he gave me honest advice on what I should do. Which was awesome, as well. He took my jewelry out for me, no questions asked, so the piercing could heal and told me that since I had been through a crappy experience with it, that he would give me a discount when I came in to have it re-done.

Just about a half hour ago, I went in and had Nate pierce my lip. I cant think of even one thing he did that was unprofessional. He made sure I was as comfortable as possible and was just great all around. The other place didnt bother do do half of the safety precations that Nate did. He was also very thorough with aftercare instructions, which the other place in question was...shall I say....lacking.  I also noted how freaking clean and tidy his shop was, and that is one star right there.  =D  I would FULLY recommend going to Nate at Aztec for any of your piercing (and tattoo) needs.

    Rock on Aztec.

I was jonesing for a new piercing so I decided to cruise down El Cajon and see what's out there.  I'm pretty sure there used to be a place at 68th and El Cajon or thereabouts called Edgewater Tattoo, but it looks like they went out of business.  I came up on Aztec Tattoo and was excited to see a Buy One, Get One Free Piercing sign over the door.  Now, sure, I was a little hesitant about a place that offers such an amazing discount, but it was clean, and the guys were friendly, so I decided to take a chance.  I got "something" pierced and the guy did an amazing job!  Totally got me to relax and was very, very quick about it.  I hardly felt any pain at all!  Plus, the last time I went to get that particular piercing, I went to Ultimate Tattoo and the guy was having trouble and said it wasn't going to work for me, so I left.  It cost $60 for the first one and then I paid just $10 for the jewelry for my nose, which was the second.  It's been just about 2 weeks since I got them done and everything is healing up just great!
