This restaurant is owned by the same family that owns Lieu's Chinese Bistro; so, you know the food is wonderful.  My favorites are the Shrimp Thai Tacos, Sesame Seared Ahi Tuna, and the Chinese Style Whole Snapper.  You can't go wrong with any of these!  The staff is very professional and friendly.  The restaurant decor is different from any other in Greenville, it has the big city feel to it.

I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone.

Did the other reviewers and I visit the same restaurant?

Let me start by saying the food was all excellent, I have no complaints. But here's the rest of the story...

We enter, and the hostess looks like she's going to a Marilyn Manson concert after her shift. I'm all for personal style, but the goth princess thing is SO 1990's. The restaurant itself is huge and cavernous (and empty). We are seated, and although there are only 2 other tables of people, the noise from the bar carries into the rest of the room, making it seem very loud and we have to raise our voices to have a conversation.

The wine menu was severely overpriced, so we ordered a bottle of chilled unfiltered sake. They served it to us in white wine glasses. What?!? Unfiltered sake in a wine glass looks like spoiled milk. Just awful. I have NEVER seen sake served in stem wine glasses...and would never expect it at a restaurant that claims to be "Asian".

The menu itself is disjointed and very overpriced, although as I said, everything we ordered was wonderful.

Oh...and although we were only a party of 2, a 20% tip was automatically added to our bill. Our service was good, but an automatic 20% on top of an already overpriced meal was excessive.

    My recommendation? Skip Azia, and:
If you want delicious, high quality Asian food, go down the street to their other restaurant, Lieu's.
If you want overpriced but tasty, Asian-fusion cuisine in a huge, cavernous restaurant, go the other direction down the street to PF Changs.

I thoroughly enjoyed my meal here.  I had the pork loin for an entree and Ahi tuna for an appetizer.  Food could not have been any better. The atmosphere was very tranquil with the exception of one rowdy guy at the bar.  It as late as they were running a little behind with our reservations but the service and food made up for all that. Very different from most other restaurants in Greenville, in a good way.

I have loved Azia since the doors opened.  The ambiance is perfect and the food and drinks are great!  I have met great people there.  Azia is my first choice when friends come in town.  It is one of the few local restaurants that can compete with the better restaurants in the bigger cities.  Be sure to ask for the Scallop Trio that is no longer on the menu but one of the best appetizers you can get.  The shrimp tacos are also too good to pass up.   If you are looking for a splendid brunch, do not pass another Sunday without their crab cake benedict and a bellini or mimosa.  Absolutely the best!

Service was awesome.  Mojitos were AWESOME.  Food was so-so.  Very americanized.  The decor is very trendy and chill.  Would go there to meet for a drink and maybe an appetizer.

Such a fun place to get the girls together for a drink or for a romantic date!

The decor is awesome, such a different feel than any other place ive seen in greenville.

Women's night is wednesday nights for martinis, which are phenomenal, the sushi is so fresh and has such great flavor, all the entrees are cooked to perfection and served beautifully, i have yet to try something that didnt completely satisfy me.

The outdoor seating is fun, also there is an upstairs area that overlooks the entire restaurant (my favorite place to sit)!!

The staff is great, they will get all of your information and call you by name when you enter the restaurant, also making sure to ask you where you would prefer to be seated rather than them choosing for you.

If you're looking for great food with a great ambience then try this place!!  It's located behind Sticky Finger and Blue FIre Grill on Woodruff Rd.

Azia is like no other place in Greenville.  Really, such a refreshing change--reminds me of other restaurants in San Fran and NYC.  Super fresh sushi and the wine selection is something they should brag about--all excellent quality.  They also have a 25% discount that is helpful in this economy.

This is the best upscale restaurant in Greenville!!! You can find anything here, even for the pickiest eaters like my friends! I also love having parties on the second floor of the restaurant. Both the service and food are excellent. I highly recommend it!

Awesome food, great environment, superb staff.  We just ate here for the first time and are thoroughly impressed.  Definitely our new favorite sushi place in Greenville.  They are running a special through August.  Monday through Saturday you get 40% off your entire bill if you dine in.  (Be ware - the add in 20% gratuity before discount to the bill.)  It's still a great deal and the rolls are so fresh and flavorful.  Also, the seared ahi tuna made my husband's night.  The people in there were dressed nicely, but we weren't given any funny looks in khaki shorts and blue jeans.  Give it a try.
