Family and I were in need of a place near our home due to water damage to our ceiling.  We called Ayres and were told we could check the large type of suite we needed for 2 adults, 2 teens and a 15mo.  The lobby feels welcoming and very clean with a Disney Grand California Adventure hotel look but smaller.  Richard (as were all the other people who work there) was very pleasant and professional.  We loved the suite that we could see ahead of time and it was perfect for our 4day stay.  Service to room is quick and room is kept amazingly clean.  Wife and I stay in Vegas a lot and hate beds that seem dirty, these beds were fresh, clean, and the best we have come across in a very long time.  Our son was able to roam about the suite because it was so clean.  They also offer a free breakfast and dinner each day.  We ate at the mexican restaurant next door the first night (Miguels, which is darn good food) but the rest of the time we ate at the hotel.  It was a friendly atmosphere and the courtyard/pool area amazing.  This place is a hidden gem in Corona.  The price was very fair for the quality.  I recommend this hotel to anyone who wants quality.  One last tid-bit, I left my phone charger in the room, I went back the evening we checked out and Crystal at the front desk (very wonderful person and professional) had it for me.  A clean quality hotel matched up with perfect professional service, keep your staff, it works great !

Here I go.  I came here with high hopes.

First off, the location of this hotel is horrible.  It's right next to the freeway which is convenient, but its on a service road that has an entrance that is very easily missed.

The building setup is a little dumb.  Not sure if there is a difference with the two towers but they had the breakfast in the other tower so I had to walk all the way to the other tower.

Checking in and dealing with staff was a breeze.  The staff was very friendly and helpful and was quick with checking me in.  The lobby looked very nice which made me feel good about choosing this hotel.

But when I walked into my room, the decor felt pretty good but it lacked warmth and coziness.  The room was fairly large with a huge wet bar in the middle of the room that served as a room divider for the two beds.

Okay... now come my biggest gripe.  THE BED WAS HORRIBLE!!!  It felt like I slept on a pullout sofa bed.  I actually got back pains from their beds.  Either it was old or just plain cheap thin mattresses that gave little to no support for the back.  I seriously wish I could be compensated somehow for the agony that I had to deal with after my stay at this place.

PLEASE, TAKE MY WORD, THE BEDS AT THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE.  I am not one to exaggerate but is having back pains worth the risk?

Another thing that I noticed is the rooms surrounds the outdoor pool and the little BBQ area, and especially on weekends there are a lot of people hanging out and it seems the hotel isn't strict on having a curfew and they tolerated noise way past 10pm.  It just sucked for others who need to get some good nights sleep.

I hope Ayres management can see comments like these and do what they need to make improvements.

This hotel is big, it has 2 buildings.
So when I went to the breakfast area on weekend, it was jammed.
The room is spacious, and clean.
The room has fridge, microwave, coffee machine, flat screen TV, and WIFI, like all Ayres do.
It does have a motel feel.
There is walking corridor outside my window.
I have to keep my curtains closed all day to keep my privacy.

This is a fantastic hotel.  My mother and I stayed here last weekend for our Glen Ivy Spa getaway.  The concierge is very helpful and friendly, and we were given a newly-remodeled room that the front desk clerk said she personally loved... it was gorgeous!  We got a 2 queen bed suite in the Lodge.

The decor is tasteful and peaceful, in muted earth tones.  The beds are extremely comfortable, topped with goose down comforters and high-thread count sheets.  There's big flat screen TV with free HBO to watch, and a microwave and mini-fridge for your booze.  The bathrooms are clean and new, with a deep tub if you want to take a soak.  The pool and spa area in the courtyard is well kept, with several lounge chairs.   There is a social area also, with an outdoor fireplace and chairs.

This place was such a steal for the price... and not only that, our $48 entrance fee to Glen Ivy was comped with gift cards just because we stayed here!!!  What a deal!  The breakfast buffet in the morning was free, and very good... eggs, waffles, sausage, and pancakes, with the usual cereal and fruit.  From what I understand, they have a social hour during the weekdays, where booze and food are free!!!

Highly recommended if you're going to Glen Ivy Hot Springs spa, or just staying in town.  I will definitely be back!

Yeah for Ayres Suites!  I got this room on Priceline, who said that it was a 2 1/5 star joint.  No way.  This place is a work out facility away from four!  Here's why:

    - Fantastic staff - affable and accommodating
    - Clean, good sized pool and hot tub
    - FREE BEER!  No kidding.  I'll explain in a sec...
    - Free dinner!!!  Seriously.
    - Breakfast buffet included.
    - Booze and food within easy walking distance
    - Free wireless internet

When I checked in, the list of included things put a giant s@#^ eatin' grin on my mug.

"Welcome, Sir.  Have you stayed with us before? No?  Well, we have a pulled pork sandwich dinner and free wine & beers from 5 to 7pm, breakfast buffet included, free wireless internet"  etc, etc...

I entered my room to find it stocked with all the amenities.  Mini wet bar (booze free, naturally), king bed, clean as a whistle...  Great pool and hot tub in the courtyard.  Just great.

I took advantage of all.  Wonderful on all accounts.  If you read my reviews, you'll notice that I don't give a lot of five star reviews.  These good folks earned it!

My girlfriend and I stayed at this hotel for the first time Friday night and will definitely stay there again. We wanted to be close to Glen Ivy in the morning. This was very convenient, room was spotless, nicely decorated and comfy bedding. Loved the iPod dock and flat screen tv! They also have a lovely courtyard with a small pool and hot tub.

I actually got a little worried when I saw a busload of college swim team kids pull up but they were well-mannered (I was told they stay there all the time) and not noisy.

Breakfast buffet was in the building next door. I wasn't impressed with the "full" breakfast served. The eggs were reconstituted and therefore watery, the sausages tasted like they were loaded with cheap filler and the temp was tepid, the oatmeal was watery and also tepid. It's fine if you just want to grab a bagel and go but if you want a real "full" breakfast, go down the street a few block to Hunny's.

Overall, very happy with our choice to stay at this hotel. The friendly staff and comfortable surroundings make this an excellent getaway hotel!

The FREE breakfast in the morning is the best! They have everything from cereal, eggs, sausage, waffles, pancakes, the WORKS! The country potatoes are the bomb too. The pool & spa  are nice (minus the screaming kids).

Ayres Suites have always impressed me based on my experiences with staying there to having an event there.  As expected, the room was very clean, the bed was comfy, and the breakfast  was yummy compared to many other hotels.  My boyfriend and I stayed in the older building, but the room was still very nice for the price we paid ($67 on Hotwire).  Wish we could have seen the newer and remodeled building/rooms!

I wouldn't have chosen any other hotel in the area.  Will definitely be booking here next time I'm headed this way.

I visited Ayres after listening to John and Ken on KFI radio endorsing the place. I guess they had done a live broadcast from there and the family who owns it were interviewed briefly on the radio. They really soudned honest to me and it made me feel like a place where quality counts and that they really care, don't just punch the clock, etc.

I thought it would be sorta like Courtyard but actually it was more plush and cozy, a little less stainless steel and impersonal. Don't get me wrong, I think the help were all very well trained and friendly, and they were very professional, and just a little bit, seemingly, a bit more country and accommodating than say, some big city hotel you might encounter. Big City places are attentive and will do almost any bidding for a tip; these people remembered my first name and checked my omfort all the time.

So what about the missing star: broken ice machine/electrical room (?) right on the other side of the wall from my room, noisier than I would have liked. I would surely go back, but they should let me choose the room.

This hotel was great!  Our room was in the older building facing the pool. Inside the room was very nicely decorated with a refrigerator and wet bar. The staff was friendly and helpful.  The best part was free breakfast all the sausage and fresh waffles with blueberry syrup, I could eat- Yum-O!!

Aside from their *massive* screwup with our booking and pricing, this place was actually very nice. Their happy hour was a little depressing, and their spa not hot enough, but these are my only gripes.

The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and there was free wifi access. The free breakfast was quite good for a hotel breakfast and got us on the right foot for our day. Can't say much else; this is a very nice place!

Very personal not corporate! These guys are a step ahead of the big hotel chains... If you stay there a couple times, you'll notice they start to remember you! Very good customer service and the rooms more than meet my needs. I travel to Corona 2x a month, and this really makes the trip easy!

    Comfy Rooms
    Great Breakfast (real breakfast)
    Happy Hour (just tip!!)
    Reasonable prices...
    Too many accommodations to list!

For the price, the rooms are impressive. I liked the fact that the hotel is making the effort to be energy efficient - the lights in the room don't turn on unless you have your room key inside of a slot by the door.

The hotel has two buildings, the check in desk is in the ponderosa style building. The newer building has suites but it does not have the nicer rooms. The ponderosa style building has room doors that open to the outside which is odd but the rooms are much nicer than you would expect. The inner courtyard is very interesting. I would stay here again.

Only stayed here for a night, easy freeway access, a couple gas stations and liquor store nearby.  An exit away from chain stores and restaurants.  This Ayres in particular wasn't like other ones I've stayed at, no long, creepy hallways with pictures of pale girls staring at you.

What a dream these folks are to work with!  Nancy, the sales manager, has been an absolute pleasure to deal with for our youth sports team.   They have a lovely courtyard where kids can safely hang out.  Nice pool too.

Rooms are large and having the fridge and microwave is great with hungry kids.  Great breakfast and some of the most comfortable beds you will find anywhere.  By far the best choice in the area!!
