Review from Cindy W.
I was actually just stopping by on my lunch from work to check out the Boogie on the Bayou, which really just seemed like an excuse to drink copious amounts of alcohol during the day. I ended up trying to avoid the many many alcoholic temptations as I didn't really think I could sober up within my lunch hour.
Anyways, I managed to stumble upon Ayla because there was a street display. I was only there for like 15 minutes but just browsing I found 2 items to try on and fell in love with one of the pieces which the owner told me was the only one every made. She designs her own clothing as well as stocking unique items from South America. Pricing was like ~ $40.00 for tops which isn't bad. They also had a huge selection of swimwear that I will have to come back and peruse.
Another plus was that the owner was super sweet and helpful not to mention gorgeous and quite fashionable herself. I'm always a little iffy about store owners that can't dress because that's not saying much about their selection of clothing. -

The new kid on the downtown Campbell block is non other than Ayla.
They carry a small assortment of women's and children's fashions and what makes this place unique is that most of the items are from South America. There are also many hand-sewn, one-of-a-kind embroidered pieces made in Peru. The owner said his wife even designs some of the many cute dresses there as well newborn shoes. Everything they carry is in style right now including a selection of premium denim.
The price point is on par with most of the boutiques on the block. So next time you're on your lunch break in Campbell, stop in and check out the new Kid on the Block.Listed in: Shop till you Drop!
