I went to this place when they used to sell gyro sandwiches for $4. They sell them for $5 now. Hopefully it won't go any higher because I'll pay at most $6, but I'd rather not. My experience with gyros on Staten Island have involved gyros from diners or from places that really had no right to be making anything ethnic. So when I say this is the best gyro's on the Island, you can take it with a grain of salt. But the gyros are pretty good.
Oh! And they have other items too that are pretty good, turkish food like kebabs and things. All made from their grill in the front. So if you want to watch them make it instead of waiting in your seat, I guess you could spoil your strange desires. -

1st time
my office ordered from here and they forgot my order!
Next day I was on an errand when my office ordered from here again and my boss ordered for me. Chicken kebab sandwich. the chicken- It was burnt- the extra bread that came with it? - was too airy. (ever hear of whole grains?" It was not to my liking.Listed in: DONT BOTHER

I am Sooo disappointed that Ayders has closed it's doors. I guess in these economic times it must be so hard to keep the business going. The food was so great and fresh, spices just right, the prices were so cheap and this is a big loss for our neighborhood. And there is no other like it, and especially not Alibaba's up the street, they are horrible. I wish Adyers would come back again.

Good Turkish cuisine. Affordable, clean and decent sit down area. The portions are a good size, you'll have left overs for sure. They've done well next to the usual pizza and chinese joints, so that's a good measure of how they've stood up.
