This is one of my favorites!! Filled with exactly all the stuff I like, and fantastic prices! I love the taste and style of the two sisters who own Ay Que Vintage, they've got style and flair that shows thru in the decor and in the items they sell in their shop. Every time I go in there I find something I just have to have, and I am always amazed at how affordable it is: T shirts, cowboy boots, men's sweater vests, big men's shirts I wear with leggings, all kindsa stuff, I have bought more than 10 items there now, and every piece has become a wardrobe staple. This is a great shop, and if you check it out, you will be happy you found it! Great jewelry and gift items, too.

This may seem horrible, but I'm leaving the exact same review for a few places on the shop strip in Long Beach because they are basically ALL THE SAME, just with different names outside.
All overpriced "vintage" clothes. Why pay nearly full price for a used jacket or shirt? Yeah right. -

Having wandered off my usual running route to check out an estate sale, I happened by Aye Que on my walk home and stopped in just to have a look.
They have a nice selection but the prices are what really make this place a gem. I purchased an ornate little belt and a lovely black slip dress for less than $20. Unheard of! I didn't want to try anything on (still a bit sweaty from my run) but there were many lovely items and fewer duds than in many vintage stores.
Aye Que is much less pricey than the shops on vintage row and the girl at the counter was a sweetheart. I'm told that they'll be relocating soon and will have a larger space.
My serendipitous little stop in has certainly convinced me to become a regular! -

No offense... but I don't really want to tell people about this place because I want it to be all mine. ALL MINE! *evil laugh
I have my little list of places I have yet to visit and when I go, I quietly check them off one by one. This has been in my consciousness for a while but since I'm always on 4th Street I usually just frequent my favorite Retro Row stores (on the weekly, I have a problem). Parking was easy peasy because there's a residential street nearby (or maybe it's usually packed and I just scored). This time my intentions weren't to buy, more to check the place out so I didn't go through the typical sift-through-everything routine. But because there's a rack outside I didn't even make it in the door without picking up a few items.
To my surprise EVERYTHING was so reasonably priced, cheap actually! That's why I kept grabbing. I had to put my pile down on the check out table because it got larger by the minute. The only down side was that since there's only one dressing room (the store is pretty tiny so that was kind of a given), I had to wait. But maybe waiting proved to be good because, in the meantime, I found a sweet necklace. For a little over $35 I got a skirt, two blouses and a necklace and left a happy customer! I hope this great little store stays in business because they have awesome finds for even more awesome prices! -

Came here and found a super cute vintage gumball machine (I love gumballs!). One of the awesome owners, Myra, told me it was worth a lot more, but sold it to me for only 12 bucks! I love it, love it, and am so excited about my new find.
I learned that the owners alter some of the vintage clothing they find, to create a modern twist. Amazing! I found some awesome rings, made from old buttons, cuff links, earrings, etc. A great way to recycle, and own some unique items!
Can't wait to continue coming back to check out some of their new stuff!Listed in: Oh, Long Beach. I love you,…

It's been too damn long since I've stepped foot in here.
Long overdue but bittersweet as Lizette greeted me with a warm smile and showed me how much the store has expanded! Ridiculous!
They no longer carry children's clothing. Instead, there is even more racks of flannels, blazers, sweaters, dresses, pants, shorts, and a new addition...lace! I love.
Their accessories are always to die for as they are one of a kind. I scored a pair of peacock feather earrings that normally go for 12 bucks for only 3!
I also snatched up an adorable, sheer, loose fitting black button up that doubles as a sweater and a 80's inspired navy blue blouse with small white polka dots. Both were reasonably priced at 7 dollars.
Had to complete the look w/ a pair of stretchable light blue denim shorts for $8.
I spent under 30 dollars for such beautiful finds. Everytime I leave here, I feel like the old soul that I truly am with my vintage, trendy apparel.Listed in: THRIFT STORE LOVE.

Granted that I didn't spend a single dime here, this place is actually a hidden little gem. Small boutique size with about 6 moderate racks of clothes. There's a small selections of shoes, handbags, and even jewelry. Affordable prices too! If you considered an average prices for a dress to be 10bucks and long chain trinketed necklace averaging around 8bucks.
I will definitely go back and make a purchase the second time around. -

I can't even drag myself back to 4th street anymore. This place may be small, but it has fantastic selection, great fits (they alter many of the pieces), and the prices... you have got to be kidding SO CHEAP!
I walk away every time with something great. Last time I found a great lilac plaid silk dress that hit mid thigh for $12. I now feel guilty if I even look at another stores prices. Because I am sure I would have paid at least $45 for the same dress at most of the stores on retro row.
This place is worth your time! Check it out and support them so we can all continue to enjoy thrift store prices. -

I've known the Suarez sisters, the owners of Ay Que Vintage, personally for many years and it's amazing to see what they do and their dedication to make the store flourish and grow from day one.
There is something for everyone, both for women and men. Their selection of clothes vary from different past eras and style, hand picked by the sisters themselves, each garment is a great find and transcends well into this generations fashion.
I never come out of this store empty handed, even if I leave with just one item or with boat loads of awesome vintage finds I am always happy with my purchase. The prices are affordable and reasonable; if you go to another vintage shop, everything is twice the cost!
Suffice it to say, I am a faithful shopper and an even more loyal supporter. Ay Que Vintage never disappoints and I will always come back for more! -

This redicuously charming little store has so much soul, style and class, if you have not been you absolutly must. If you have kind of flair for fashion and love to find must have vintage pieces this is your new favorite store. I would love to own everything in the store because its ALL FABULOUS.
The people there are super chill and laid back. -

Happened upon this small shop on a walk. Never noticed it when I drove by because it's so small. If you need a unique, inexpensive gift this is a great shop.

I actually found out about Ay Que Vintage through some friends of mine who were going to be attending to there new opening on 501 E. Broadway. I didnt know what exactly to expect only that it was a vintage clothing store. They had a lot planned out for that night with food and wine to drink for free. Also a on site DJ to keep things going with a Burlesque dancer at 8:30. Well unfortunately didnt get to stick around to see the Burlesque but I did get to see the store. They have wonderful arrangements of vintage clothing for men and women. Especially alot of cute skirts and dresses for all you girls who are into vintage clothing and at a reasonable cost. Its a shame that im so chunky or I would buy some of the clothes that they have for men. The owner is a very nice lady and some of the artwork they have posted is very nice as well. Hopefully when I lose some weight I will definitely come back soon. Wife really liked all the nice clothes for women. Oh and she really liked the hair clips with bows that have a hint of Lorteria in each style. There were also beautifully hand crafted hair pins with broaches of muerta on them as well. Come and check out the store sometime, Im sure you will enjoy what you see.

The first time I wandered in here was before a hair appointment, and I found nothing. But I had time to kill last night and have been wanting to scratch a vintage itch, which I dont get all too often. Im honestly not a huge vintage store fanatic; the mood really has to strike me.I do enjoy occasional hunting, but for me its really a hunt, to find those few if any items that are to die for. More often than not, most of the items I find in vintage stores are unflattering in material, shape and size, the colors are way too bright and unflattering, and I see way too many loud prints. I admit it, Im guilty of enjoying modern fashion and the ease of it all. Maybe Im just going to the wrong stores. This place is tiny, but it has some cute items, particularly a nice display of earrings and some other jewelry. I think if youre lucky, you will walk away with at least one score; last night, I did- a beautiful black knit embrodered short sleeved sweater blouse for $6!!!! Six to twelve dollars was pretty much the standard. Since the selection is small, and I dont know how often they get in new stuff, you might not need to make it a frequent stop, but its worth checking out, and its small size actually makes it an easy pit stop on a day you want to shop, but arent necessarily in the mood to really get down and dig in.

A gem! I wondered into this little shop because I arrived early for a hair appointment across the street. I was most impressed with the wide selection of vintage jewelry, and the COST! I bought a beautiful necklace and ring, total = $13!
