After 5 months of 'regular' acupuncture elsewhere, I went to see Sarai at Axis for fertility-focused acu. Three cycles into it and I was beyond excited to find out I was pregnant, without medical intervention. Now, I sit here typing with one hand and holding my ten-day old baby in the other. It doesn't get any better than this! I'm convinced she wouldn't be here if not for the acu and herbal treatments I received from Sarai. Sarai also helped get me through the first trimester of worries and queasiness. She is thorough in her evaluation, specific in her diagnosis, and always answered any questions or concerns with the utmost care. Go see her!!!

I can't say enough good things about this place. Sarai is very thorough and spends a lot of time with you at the first session to ensure she's clear on your needs. She's very professional and caring. And most important, she's effective. She specializes in women's health but is knowledgeable in all areas. I high recc. her!
Specialties
Axis specializes in reproductive health and fertility challenges. Our focus is treating women (and men) experiencing infertility, going through IUI, IVF or trying to conceive naturally. We also work with women who have irregular menstrual cycles, endometriosis, PMS, PMDD, PCOS, uterine fibroids, anovulation, menopausal issues, etc. We work with men to help improve sperm quality, as well (count, morphology, motility, etc.).

Established in 2005
Axis was established in 2005 and moved to it's current location (near Texas Fertility Center) in October 2006.
Meet the Business Owner: Sarai S.
Sarai Stapleton, L.Ac., MAOM. attended American College of Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine (ACAOM.edu) in Houston, and is certified by the National Creditation Commission for Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM.org) as a Diplomate of Oriental Medicine. In addition, Ms. Stapleton is an Inaugural Fellow of the American Board of Oriental Reproductive Medicine (ABORM.org).
Sarai began her career working at Eastern Harmony Clinic (Houston) and later with noted author Randine Lewis, Ph.D., (The Infertility Cure) at her Fertile Soul fertility enhancing retreats. She began her private practice in Austin in October 2005.
