This little shop is a treat for your senses. the fresh smells of flowers, the sound of wind chimes and zen-inspired gift, garden and home items fill this little shop of surprises, run with love by owner Karen Hickey. Dirt-cheap tropical plants. A beautiful selection of miniature bonsai and money trees at a reasonable price. Pretty things to feng shui your living space. The kind of shop you want to spend a pay cheque and an afternoon...

I've used Awesome Blossom's delivery service a few times now. They're great for the florally-challenged male who wants to send his wife or (and?) girlfriend flowers but doesn't know what to get. They have suggestions for every occasion.
A four-star review got turned into a three-star because on this particular occasion their delivery driver didn't pay attention to direction:
I requested that my wife's Valentine's Day roses be dropped by our doorstep because no one would be home at delivery time. I get home...no flowers there. There was a "Sorry we missed you notice" in the mailbox with a phone number on it. I called this number and immediately began complaining, "Pay attention to detail blah, blah." The guy that answered the phone sounded totally clueless and rude, so I hung up on him.
A few minutes later, our doorbell rings and it's our neighbour (whom we hadn't met yet, by the way) bringing the flowers over. He said that Awesome Blossom dropped them off earlier because nobody answered our door. It turns out that the phone number on the delivery notice was our neighbour's and that's who I was yelling at when I called. This made for an awkward moment. If the driver read the damn instructions that I gave, this would have gone a lot smoother.
So yeah, if you order from Awesome Blossom I suggest that you call and get a confirmation that the delivery goes down exactly as you request it.
