They truly are the nicest people ever. I try to go there as much as possible, even though sometimes they are more expensive than the post office.
The post office is so awful I just can't stand to be there.
At Away We Go, people are always SO nice and helpful. When I did a mass mailing, they even offered to help me stamp the stack of letters so I didn't have to stand there doing it. They always help me find the best price between carriers!
So wonderful!
I hear they receive packages for you for only $1.
Crazy prices. I had to send something on Sunday because I was leaving early Monday morning, and it was just a block away so it was convenient and really no other option at the time. I sent a box of books media mail for USPS. I called to ask about the fee and they assured me it wouldn't be too much because for the priority mail it was only $2.00 more but really percentage wise it was probably a 25% fee.
I kept asking about the fees for media mail and the woman said she didn't know. Also their prices for faxes are ridiculous.
So when I sent the box of books they charged me $25. I looked up at http://usps.com - same box would have been $15. They also put delivery confirmation which I didn't ask for. I wasn't given the option for insurance either.
Real rip off - go to the post office or elsewhere.
