I love this place. I like how convenient it is to just walk in and get what you need, instead of waiting for your order to arrive.
I like their lotions, their nail polish are cheap, and I also love their super shock mascara. My husband likes using their Foot Works products. I've tried both Avon and Mark eyeshadows. I find the Avon eyeshadow doesn't last all day.
It's a hit and miss. Some of their products are good, others are not. But since everything is so cheap I don't mind if I buy something and end up not liking it later on. -

Overcoming my lack of interest in Avon, I went inside their retail store. I have always wanted to try Mark but I didn't want to contact a local representative or buy online. I've had some issues with buying cosmetics online (where the color I received was much different from what I expected). With beauty products, I want to see and try the item before purchasing.
The retail outlet sells items at their retail price. They do have sales and specials though (I suppose the catalog also does). Plus they have testers, catalogs, and a huge bowl of free samples. They have Avon products for men and women plus the full line of Mark products (makeup, makeup brushes, skincare, fragrance, bath & body products, and haircare). The store also has a small selection of shoes, shirts, jewelry, purses, sunglasses and watches (even a Hello Kitty watch).
From the Mark line I purchased a Dew Drenched lipstick ($6) which moisturizes and smells like mint, Sheer Tint C-thru-u ($8) which also smells nice and has SPF15, Eyemarker eyeliner ($5.50) which goes on smoothly and has great staying power (most eyeliners even expensive ones don't meet these two criteria) - all this for the price of one higher end lipstick. I'm pleasantly surprised by how much I like these items - they're cheaper than Neutrogena or other drugstore brands but the quality/wearability is higher than I expected and they actually smell good (but not too girly).
I like the sleek, simply black packaging and the scent of their Lemon Sugar body products. I'll definitely be back for more items. My niece likes Lauren Conrad, so I bet she would like Mark products too.
Oh, I did buy one Avon product ($1 tinted lip balm called Slick Tint). It smells like wax. I don't recommend it. The $1 lip balms and lotions seem like good stocking stuffers if you can find ones you like.Listed in: Beauty products obsession

I'm soooo glad I finally found this store! I found out that they've just opened for about a month now. I passed by it once when I was having lunch with the BF and wanted to go in but couldn't because i had a class to go to. I said I was going to go there for sure the next day and I did!
I walked in and saw all the things you would normally see in the catalog. Yes...I shop at Avon, I mean hello...the prices are really cheap! My friend used to sell for Avon but because she wasn't profiting she stopped. She was buying way too many things for herself so obviously she wasn't making anything. Then I had to resort to the flea market to get my Avon necessities. I love their deodorants, which is only 99 cents, because it's a roll on and nowadays you cannot find any good roll on deodorants. I used to use dove but they discontinued it...booo!! I tried Suaves and it's not the same.
Their makeup line is pretty cheap too. I've never tried the eyeshadow or anything but I like their waterproof mascaras. I also like their eyeliners although it does smudge a lot, especially for me since I get watery eyes a lot, so I stopped using them. I like how they also sell the Mark line. My favorite is their lip gloss.
They not only sell make up but also beauty supplies such as lotion, face wash and other creams. They also sell purses, sandals, jewelry and what not.
I'm so glad this place is opened around my school. Not only can you buy things in the shop, but you can order from the catalog as well. They order it every Sunday and it comes the following Thursday, I think. I don't remember.... -

Alrighty then, it seems that I am the only one who doesn't love this place. I guess I'm just not a fan of the Avon product lines. I think it might be more for the teen - 20-something group. I just didn't find any of the makeup or perfume that exciting. I guess if you love Avon this would be the place to go, I think I'll pass on my next visit.

I am giving this store 5 stars because I am finally happy that I can come here and get their products at any time. No more waiting a week or so for my order to come in the mail. Also, after asking the girl working there the difference between the different types of the ANEW face creams, I was impressed and I had no problem making a decision on what to buy. I didn't mind paying the full price and love the instant satisfaction. I hope this store sticks around.

My mom always had coworkers that were Avon reps. She would bring the catalogs home & I'd always look through them & want something. Coming to the store, it's much easier than having to wait for an Avon rep to bring my stuff to me. I prefer going to the store, because it's instant and I can see the products in front of me. I don't know of any other Avon stores around here, I think this is the only one.

It is about time a cosmetic company has recognized the entire age demographic. Go Avon! I called the store yesterday to discuss products for 50 year old skin. I spoke with Nicole and made arrangements to meet with her today. Nicole has been so geat in helping me plan out part of my BFFs 55th BIRTHDAY BEAUTY MAKEOVER RALLY. She helped me determine what skin care & make up products my BFF would need after her hair make over and stay with budget. The Birthday Girl will receive instructions to report to the Avon Center at 11:30 and will be in the good hands of Nicole and Donna. Great store, great product, great employees who go the extra mile and take brand to the next level.
