Avocados not only taste good, but are super good for your body! Natural buttery goodness. Never mind the calories because not all calories are created equal and definitely never mind about the (good) fat content because fat doesn't make you fat -- sugar does . Do keep in mind how many vitamins A, B, C, and E, amongst many others you're giving your body. Your body will thank you, trust me.

I told my mother in Illinois I can never move home because I can't leave them here.

O Avocado, fruit of the sun
fleshy green and ripe
guacamole
or just on a salad
or sandwich
or with eggs
or with salt and olive oil.

AVOCADOS ARE MY FAVORITE FRUIT (they have a pit, they're a fruit).

I think it is because the avocado is not really that much different than you or me.  It needs a mate to flower, and you can even artificially inseminate them!

"Timoteo's Casamole"

In a large metal bowl - de-skin/pit 2 large Avacados, add a squeeze of a 1/4 of a lime wedge, a few grinds of pepper, pinch of salt, mash it with a potato masher until mashed but little lumpy, add 3 large tablespoons of Casa Sanchez hot salsa(or mild for you losers) and mix with a spatula(or your hand if you are into that sort of thing).  Serve with C.S. Chips(Thin) and C.S. Salsa on the side.  Easy and awesome.  Serves 4 to 6 men or 8 women(unless they are like my Aunt Rubia.)  Cheers!

I'm allergic to Avocados.  I make a kick as guacamole though!  My abuelita taught me how and even though I can't taste it I know it's good.

I can actually eat half a serving (as is described by the illustrious Gourmet Guru) without an allergic reaction.

My rich friends just bought an avocado RANCH.  It overlooks the OCEAN.  Hello, can we just call it HEAVEN?

I now have enough avocados to last a lifetime.

Just started to like them for the first time in my life.  What a flippin' treat.

Huzzah!

Like one of the perfect foods... sheesh.  I would mash that into my face.  And a ceviche or ahi tartare served in an avocado half...  hot damn that is some fine times there my people....

One-fifth of a medium avocado is considered a single serving. Who is the skinny-assed moron who determines these things?

some might say to eat an apple a day...i disagree. i think it's necessary to consume one avocado a day.

yum.

can't. get. enough.

before moving to s.f. it was a challenge eating avocados...not in that i can't finish a whole avocado way, but in that, i should probably eat only half, but i don't want to waste the other half...then i met nate c.

the nate c. avocado plan is to cut the avocado in half, take out the seed deal and put salad dressing in the oval. grab a handy spoon and dig in. yummmmy! this is so tasty and is a great solution to my previous avocado dilemma. wootah!

so yes, consume avocados daily.

heaven.
