Love this park!
It has lots of things, and we used to come for picnics/lunches when I used to go to elementary school. I still go sometimes. There is:
-a small play area. It has been remodeled, so now there's little house things and teeter totters and the like.
-picnic/gazebo area. There is also small picnic tables scattered around the park.
-basketball court and a baseball diamond.
-area for people to ride horses in. It is in the Avocado Heights Equestrian area after all.
-a long path dotted with work out stations!
-a high, grassy hill to roll down from! :) -

This park is really hidden and a great spot to relax away from traffic. The park is located inside an equestrian suburb so your bound to see lots of horses and chickens.
The park has a little bit of everything for being so far off the beaten road. A small yet modern kids play area with a covered area for kids party with lots of cement tables. A full size well-maintained baseball diamond with stands and two dugouts. Next to that is a full size basketball court, great for playing hoops although it does slop a bit to the east.
A full size horse arena with lights, water outlets that are often used to control the dust the horses kick-up, double fenced with a well shaded picnic area inside the first horse arena. Great place to practice horse picture taking or horse-life drawing.
There are also workout stations throughout the park that are well maintained and have instructions posted on how to use. The park is partially located on a hill to the west side that gives you a great birds-eye-view of the majority of the park. It also has its own parking lot, small but rarely full.
This park is just a great place to feel as if your out in the country but not, want to get away from traffic but not be bored and just overall a nice quiet spot with a homegrown feeling. -

Here's the secret but you'll need a horse. Come over on a weekend/friday night and you'll see a taco truck next to the park. People ride up to the taco truck to buy their taco on their horse. Isn't that awesome!??!
