Awesome! We are invited to be guests as we visited folks in the area. We hope to live here in the next year and I can't wait to use the pool. Classy facility! Colleen, Sacramento,CA

Super nice. Came free to use with our stay at the Inn. If that isn't incentive enough to try this place, then the numerous tennis courts, swimming pool, weight rooms, spas, etc should hopefully catch your interest.
It's not overly crowded like you find in most clubs. The lobby is nice and comes with a fire place (when's the last time you saw that at a fitness club!).
I can only imagine how much a membership here costs but given how much there is to offer and how clean everything is, it is well worth the cost. -

Visiting the area and used this club as a guest Great facility. Nice staff. Clean locker rooms. Pools were warm and clean. The Pilates class was challenging.
If I lived here, I would join. -

Wow, what a great place to work out. They have swimming, tennis, classes, cardio and weight rooms, food, a lobby with a fireplace and reading material, and even a little spa. I had a massage from Tricia, and she worked me over. She was a little too rough but reduced the pressure when I let her know.
The cardio room has the usual equipment, and there are TVs but not on each machine. You can borrow a radio to listen to the TV or music. I used the heated outdoor swimming pool, it's small but I had it to myself. The spa jet switch was broken, but it was still warm and inviting after swimming. I think there's an indoor pool too. The woman locker room is nice, with multiple clean showers, toilet areas, and sinks. A man walked into the locker room, as there is also a pool side entrance, he was embarrassed but I wasn't naked, so it was all good.
Staff are genuinely pleasant and helpful, and if you stay at the Avila Village Inn, across the walkway, you get free use of the gym. There's a bike trail between the fitness center and the Inn, that goes all the way to the beach.
I'm sure membership is expensive, I didn't look, but if you have money and want to work out, this is a great place to go. -

If you have money to spare and live in the area, you have to join this health club. It is ridiculously posh and just generally AMAZING. I got to use this club for free for two weeks when I was the temporary babysitter for a girl whose parents were members. We spent hours there every day, swimming in the luxurious outdoor pools and hot tub, checking out the tennis courts, and eating healthy lunches inside. Although I couldn't do these activities with my charge, I observed an endless number of classes, and state of the art athletic equipment.
Yeah, there's a little bit of a "money" vibe, and most of the people who go here are in pretty good shape. But it's family oriented and not a place where you have to worry about creeps. If you want a place where you can focus on your health and fitness, this is a great place. -
