We first met Avi at one of his seminars for First-time Home Buyers. He
was very informative and clearly has an passion for real estate. We
felt that he was a very knowledgeable and honest person so we decided
to work with him on our first home. Avi easily led us through all the
preparations before starting the search process. He took as much time
as we needed to explain the process. He connected us with a lender to
calculate our actual numbers and he was always present when we spoke
with the lender.
When we were searching for a house, Avi was always available and
helped us through the process. Unfortunately this process took longer
than we expected, but Avi remained patient and reassured us and urged
us not to compromise. Finally we found the house we loved, and there
were 4 other offers! But somehow Avi helped our offer to get accepted!
During the closing process of the house, he was never a bottleneck,
often looking and pushing forward. We closed in record time, in no
small part to Avi's efforts. He also connected us with a contractor
that we are pleased with. He is not just a realtor to us now. He's a
friend you can trust! We always felt that Avi was looking out for our
best interest. We highly recommend Avi. When it comes time for our
next home, I will contact Avi first!
Why we will work with him again:
1) He's honest with his professional opinion. He does not say "what I
want to hear".
2) He seems to really care that his client makes a smart purchase for
themselves.
3) He keeps us grounded from making 100% emotional purchase which you
may regret someday.
4) He knows a lot of other related professionals that are trustworthy.
It's truly a one stop shop!

I attended Avi's seminar last week and came out much better informed on the housing market in Silicon Valley. The seminar is full of facts and figures, and considers all aspects with no fluff. I highly recommend attending the seminar to anyone wanting up-to-date information and trends.

I met with Avi the other day to talk about rental real estate and found his advice and consul outstanding.
A lot of realtors are totally focused on a just closing the deal, without regard to a longer term value to the investor. Avi is clearly cut from a different cloth. He's a true partners in working with you as an investor in maximizing your return from real estate investments. -

"I've known Avi as a friend and as my realtor for many years and found him to be one of the most trustworthy people I've met. He is not your average realtor. Having to buy a house with him and also meeting many of his customers, the one most important point that comes up over and over again about Avi: HIS HONESTY.
Avi is very professional at what he does; understands what your needs are when looking to buy or sell a house and will eventually reach the best deal possible for you.

I have worked with Avi on both primary and rental properties with great success. Avi is patient, knowledgeable, and does exactly as he says.

Avi's seminar is great! A truly informative, high-quality presentation. All analyses are backed by hard data, including many cases studies. His session is very interactive and fun. He tossed his specially printed t-shirts to persons who correctly answered his questions during the seminar. And he answers any and all questions very clearly during or after the session. I would highly recommend one of Avi's seminars.

A friend who highly recommended him referred us to Avi. Still, we interviewed a couple more agents, also by referral, and chose Avi out of his outmost professionalism and what we thought as integrity. We were not disappointed. Avi exceeded our expectations. He was patient, diligent, respectful, and customer oriented (We were not exactly Avi's typical clients, but he adjusted well and fast to our needs). He saved us tons of time by visiting properties we thought we may want to see and ruled out problematic properties (foundation problems, location issues etc.). Most importantly, he got us a great deal!! He was not ever pushy and he is not commission oriented, he focuses on your needs and expectations- We were thinking about buying a more expensive property and yet he redirected us to a less expensive property that actually was more of what we wanted. Avi will always be there 24/7 to answer any question you have, making you feel like you're his only client. We, as others, highly recommend him.

I came to know of Avi by attending one of his first time buyer workshops. I thought the workshop was good in that it approached the subject of real estate from a relatively analytical perspective. When I started off, I wasn't sure of what I wanted, and his presentation really got me thinking in terms of what was important to me.
His presentations also had some good sections about why it may not make sense for someone to buy. I really liked that his presentation had this section and he actually spent time to go over this in detail as well.
Avi was prompt and responsive, and also did a good job of showing me a lot of different places. Even though I had seen the place that I eventually ended up getting within a few days of started my search, I was initially not inclined towards it for what I would now characterize as relatively nitpicky reasons ( nor did Avi hard sell me on it ).
Even for some properties that I initially liked, Avi pointed out some serious shortcomings in the fine print that I didn't necessarily think about. Likewise when doing paperwork for the townhouse I wanted to read and understand each and every single piece of fine print for anything that I signed, and Avi was also patient for this part of my home buying process. Also during the month of closing, though I was very busy in terms of work during the day, Avi was patient yet assertive in terms of making sure I responded to any matters that required my attention ( while at the same time him putting up with me responding to most of his calls during the day with a simple SMS saying "Busy"). When I got started on my real estate search, I was initially concerned that interfacing with a realtor would be painful and awkward if a realtor was anything like car salesman. Avi on the other hand was personable, analytical, assertive and patient.
I feel very lucky to have found Avi, and I would highly recomend him to anyone looking for a realtor in the zip codes that he
focuses on.
Other reviews which mention that Avi is on your side for the long haul are spot on.
Note: The above is mostly from a review I wrote for Avi earlier, however I will add that in addition to just helping me get the house, Avi has been a great source of both proactive and reactive help with all of the things that come post purchasing a house. -

What are you looking for in a real estate agent? Knowledge of the area, experience, good negotiator, someone that will work hard for you and not just the commission? All that and more can be used to describe Avi. My wife and I have been looking to buy a house for the last two years. Avi worked with us to find desirable neighborhoods up and down the peninsula that fit our criteria. In a tough market where good homes were getting multiple bids, Avi helped us stay focused on value with detailed analysis and objective advice. In the end, after many long months of looking we found the right home. Again Avi put the time in to make sure our offer was rock solid and based on current market conditions. Throughout the process and even after close of escrow, Avi continues to be stay involved with little details. We could not be more pleased with all of his help. We would not hesitate to call him again in the future and will recommend him to all of our friends.
