Great selection of phyto products, my fave. And a wonderful box of FULL SIZE "stylist favorites" for an amazing price, that I haven't found anywhere else **coughs** and **chokes** and stares down the heavily made up eyes of sephora.
And I don't know, but something tells me, someone, somewhere, behind the scenes of aveyou is a nail polish fiend. And I'm grateful. I've become a bit of a nail polish hoarder myself, so I'll be seeing YOU again aveyou.
Delivery was super fast and just in time to get the products to me to get ready for my sister's wedding. And what a bonus, they included a fairly nice go to carrying bag, like a re-usable shopping bag with handles that already came in handy to tote my change of shoes for said wedding. Awesome.
My only gripe, and it's minor, is that the website could use an updated design. Was a little awkward finding what you are looking for. -

I was introduced to this site after buying 3 KGB deals for $50 worth of products for $25. I should have bought more. They carry my new love, Dermalogica.
My items have shipped by the next day, and I receive my items the day after that. I can't complain about the $1 shipping promotion on orders over $50.
My only gripe is, I don't like the set up of the site. You can't search by product type ie: shampoo, or sun screen. There are 4 general categories ie: skin care/cosmetics, hair care, etc, and under each category, is a list of every brand that carries products in that genre. So, if you're looking for eyeshadow for example, you would click on the skin care/cosmetics tab. The site then gives you a list of hundreds of brand names (in alphabetical order) that sell products that can fall under the skin care or cosmetics category. Pretty confusing for someone who isn't looking for a particular brand.
The site would be way more user friendly if they had subcategories. This way, you could shop for products instead of brands.
As for price, I often find the same products cheaper on Amazon. And Amazon offers free shipping on a lot of things. So, after I use my last certificate, I'm going back to Amazon. -

Ordered a package from this store for my fiance on our anniversary.
Opened the package and instead of my gift of perfume I found some body cream addressed to someone else. So disappointed in the service offered by this place.

Five simple, mutherfuckin' reasons why AveYou gets 5 stars:
A) they have the beauty products I use...all under one cybernetic roof...so my lazy ass doesn't have to go anywhere to get the goods
B) their prices are cheaper than that cheapy place you go to...and during these hard-knock times, who doesn't want to save a lil' extra chizzy-change
C) flat rate shipping, son...not some random shipping quote pulled outta a leprechaun's ass
D) speedy delivery of goods...I got my stuff the NEXT day...so if you're itchin' to remove that gnarly Pancho Villa 'stache you have going on or those toes of yours are looking like T-Rex claws...you can handle your biz ASAP
E) not *only* did I get all my goods I had ordered, but I got some sample goodies, a % off coupon for my next order AND a club card that will score me insider discounts & free goodies

There's something about receiving a package in the mail. It's like Christmas, but it's a Monday and you're at work. Your coworkers are eying the box jealously, wondering what sorts of goodies you've received. You see them watching, and you think "You're all suckaz".
And then there's something about receiving a package - with samples!
I was always that kid that would beg to tag along to Costco, solely for the samples. AveYou brought themselves from 4 stars to 5 stars with those tiny vials and packets of fun!
AveYou has a million bajillion beauty products to choose from, so I was easily distracted from my Bliss mission. I suddenly started diagnosing myself with "Ultra dry skin" or "Brittle hair". I NEEDED these beauty products. Luckily the angel on my shoulder convinced me not to spend too many dollaz. I've decided to resort to this method: Every pay period I will permit myself to make one beauty purchase from AveYou, so that I can slowly attain my goal of being pretty.Listed in: Sometimes I Buy Things, I want to be Pretty

I happened upon Avenue You through http://Amazon.com. I wanted some curlers I had read about in Lucky that were good for my slightly wavy/unruly hair texture. I did a quick Google, and the link to the Amazon page for them came up first. I was hesitant about ordering from a 3rd party retailer I hadn't heard of, but I checked out their website and it seemed legit.
Fast forward a few months and I've become a devotee! They are the quickest and easiest to use. I still go to Sephora, Ulta, etc. for some things, but now when I order online it's through Avenue You. Why?
- Shipping is ONE dollar. ONE. No matter how much you order! The shipping is super fast and I generally receive my items in about 3 days, super quick from New Jersey.
- They carry hard to find lines - in this case Kevin Murphy, a line out of Australia. The shampoo I buy from them really can't be beat, I love the way it makes my hair look, and I'm always getting compliments on the clean, fresh scent.
- Plethora of OPI polishes. If you want it, they probably have it.
- 15% off, every single time.
- Without all the discounts, their prices are still the cheapest. Add the discounts, you're getting a heck of a deal.
- Stellar customer service. When one of my items was backordered, I immediately got an email from them apologizing, they shipped it as soon as it was available, and as an apology, they threw in a free full size product as well as some samples.
I don't know how you can ask for more? -

I can not stop going on line and buying. I love how I can order and the next day or even later that day depending on when I place my order I see that is has shipped. Items come to me quick fast and in a hurry. I first ordered through AMAZON after that I go directly to the site. I love my cute back that came with products they have a promo going on now so this is my go to site for all my beauty needs. (I have only purchased hair products) I am a natural hair product girl right now and this is where I can buy them and also you can find great specials for this merchant from time to time.

I am definitely a fan of Avenue You and will be a returning customer. There was a wide arrange of high quality products to choose from, the delivery was the quickest I've ever experienced, and the free samples and access beauty pass program is always a bonus. I would have given you 5 stars, but I found the website to be a little bit cluttered for a person who may just be browsing and not know exactly what they want or be familiar with alot of the products. Other than that, I was very satisfied.

After hearing amazing raves about Avenueyou from a close friend, I had to try it out for myself. I ordered two nail polishes to start-- Essie's "E! Live From the Red Carpet" & "OPI's Mod About You". My order came in on the expected date, packaged well, and with additional information about the variety of other nail colors from Essie & OPI. My nails and toes have never looked better! I agree with Briana M.... it's like feels like Christmas when you get to open that little package waiting for you by the door filled with goodies :-). I will definitely be coming back to Aveyou for all my future beauty needs!

I had a horrible experience with AVEYOU. I ordered a Japonesque lipstick palette and the photo made the product look like it was a quality product. When it arrived, I noticed it was very flimsy and the latch wouldn't close because it kept catching on the stiff hinge that would become blocked because of the plastic separator in the middle. These things happen, but when I contacted them to get a refund I hit another problem. They were quick in accepting the palette and issuing a merchandise credit, but the code they gave me to use as a credit did not work. I E-mailed them several times. Each of their replies was bascially, "try again...you may be entering the code incorrectly..." I was about to lose my mind, so the last two times, I asked them to please process the order for me manually. They ignored this and told me to keep trying and/or call their toll-free number. I'm done.

I tried ordering a product from Avenue You and had a horrible experience! I ordered the product in mid-October, and it was sent to the wrong address. Admittedly, this was my fault, because I had an old address in Amazon. The original package disappeared, and company very kindly offered to send me a second package. Then the problems started. They sent the second package to the same old address, even though I provided them with the correct address in WRITING! When I called to alert them of this, they promised to re-route the UPS package to my correct address. Then they send me a THIRD package to the same incorrect address. My favorite part of the experience was the email I received from the company on my second email, which implied that I was lying to them and essentially trying to cheat them. All they had to do was call UPS and ask which address was on the packages! They would have very quickly discovered that they had made a mistake. But instead they accused me, the customer, of being the problem. Clearly this is not a company that has a good computer system. Don't order from them, and whatever you do, don't suggest that they've made a mistake. It will all be your fault.
Addendum: As an addendum to the earlier posting, I should note that the company finally resolved the problem involving my order, and I received the original product after several long emails with the owner. I understand that the owner very likely did not believe my stories about the missing packages, and I'm grateful that they resolved the situation. That said, Avenue You never attempted any explanation for why the boxes had gone missing ... or really accepted responsibility for it.
