I had my son's 2nd birthday party here and it was a perfect location! Natalie, the owner was great to work with and very helpful/involved during the entire party.
I bought a Groupon for the birthday party. It consisted of a 2-hr party with a maximum of 10 kids and 30 people total. It was nice to have a small and personal party.
The kids LOVED playing at the art studio. All the materials were available for the kids to use. They painted, played with clay, played with the chalk wall, the lego wall, read books, played dress up, and danced like crazy!!
This place is so perfectly set up and decorated. Super cute! There is even an area for the parents to sit down and relax. Very thoughtful design. Located in Bixby Knolls.
I highly recommend having your child's birthday party here! -

I have taken my two year old daughter for open play on several occasions and have enrolled her in pee wee art class... it is a beautifully set up art space which my daughter loves! The owner has created a very well thought out center which encourages children's creativity...every spot has something to grab my daughter's attention - from the art easels to the block wall to the chalk wall floor- we love going here!

Visited Averyboo Arts last week with both of my children for the first time and was very happy with the experience. It is a great place - very stimulating - lots to do there, great supplies, very friendly staff who were great with my kids.
I especially liked how they spoke to my kids, very nurturing, and they took time to personally connect with each of my kids and compliment their work several times.
Also, I loved that there are so many recycled and natural craft objects to use - I felt inspired to come home and create a more natural craft experience for my children at home.
It was just great - can't say enough about the place and the people who work there. We will go again!
The classes look awesome, and I think if anyone is interested in checking it out a great way to do it would be to venture down to the area on a First Friday and stroll Atlantic and "pop" in to see what it going on.
Check it out with your kids - you won't be disappointed. -

We hosted our four year old daughter's birthday party at this wonderful Long Beach gem. Owner, Natalie Meza, worked dilligently with me to carry-out the concept of our mermaid theme. She orderded custom underwater colored paints and materials, devised craft options and consulted me by phone and email whenever I had additional ideas. You will find that Averyboo is a modern, clean and well-lit space that has high-quality materials. Being that Natalie is a mother of a young child herself gives her a deep passion for what she does and with her art background you'll see how you're child will have a wonderful artistic experience no matter what studio offering you choose!

My Mom and I were at a loss as to what to do to entertain my three year old last week (it has been uncommonly chilly and cloudy here in socal this July). So after a bit of internet surfing we found Averyboo Arts and decided on taking him there for an hour of studio time. Natalie was so nice and helpful but gave my son free range of her studio. She has all kinds of mediums for kids to explore. He had a great time and really enjoyed telling Grandpa all about the shark suit that he played with and the dinosaur that he painted.
It was the perfect way to keep him occupied for an hour and it sure wore him out. -

My daughters (ages 4 and 1.5) and I visited Averyboo Arts a few months ago. They both had a great time. We felt comfortable, welcomed and would love to visit again. We came during open play but would love to try out a class.

Averyboo Arts is a great place for kids to create, imagine and play. They have a little bit of everything and a nice soothing environment. It's clean and the owner is super friendly. We should support our small business owners.

I really enjoy bringing my 3 year old son to Averyboo Arts. Not only can he explore many forms of arts and crafts, including painting, Playdoh, or making crafts, but he enjoys bringing home his new creations to show off for mommy and daddy. He also enjoys playing with the other kids (the socialization is great!) and listening to storytime. We have gone more than once to Averyboo Arts in Long Beach and will go again. It is a safe, fun and creative play environment for little ones.
