Until recently, every time I had been up this way for work I settled for Shell station coffee while fueling up. SO glad I found out about Avenue Espresso, I mean any cappuccino compared to gas station coffee is a night/day difference, but the coffee here is very good all on its own too.
Pleasant service with a friendly smile, very positive experience overall. I definitely haven't experienced the waiting time that the other reviewer has. -

Stopped by Avenue Espresso on my way to BFF's house in BFE.
The last exit before I truly leave civilization and lose all contact w/ the outside world for awhile.
This little stand has two windows, but they really shouldn't.
The sole barista was overwhelmed and took no less than 8 minutes per customer, and that was for a single drink.
My order, 3 kids hot chocolates and the zebra mocha that was on special, took nearly 15 minutes.
Nothing out of the ordinary, acceptable temp on all drinks, but nothing that stood out either.
For it's location, at this particular exit, it is the only game in town for coffee other than from a gas station, so it will likely maintain steady business.
If I happen to swing in this area, I wouldn't avoid it in particular, but with all the other little independent stands popping up on preceding exits on my way through here, I won't seek it out.Listed in: Beat ya to it!, Let's do Legal Drugs!, Welcome to BFE!
