My experience was delightful!
Svetlana is wonderful, and the other girls there seemed also very relaxing and gentle.
You would never expect it but there is an entirely different world beyond the shop. It's seriously another dimension of relaxation! It was all very pricey for me, but compared to other experiences it was worth it. If I had a few hundred dollars and a few extra weeks at the beach I would not hesitate to get a Mani-pedi & a massage, I am sure it is ooh-aah-yum!
However, I didn't have that money, or time, I did get a very nice wax that did not leave my skin sticky irritated or sore, the treatment was excellent.
Next time I'm definitely returning even if it's just for a simple manicure or eyebrow wax!
Check the prices online, if it falls within your budget -- go for it! -

The Avenue Day Spa may go by a few different names - it's also known as the Avenue Apothecary and Spa, but whatever name you call it, there's no denying the delights that are in store for you. When you enter the store it's easy to let out a big sigh and feel your stress melt away. The aromatherapy offerings waft through the air and you are greeted by a team of helpful staff. After a summer in Europe, I was in dire need of a good old American wax (you don't know how good we have it here) and Melissa, my attentive aesthetician was just what the doctor ordere, serving up one of the best waxes I've ever received. My trips to Rehoboth can be infrequent, but I now have another great reason to make the trek from Washington, DC.

This little spa nestled in with the other cute shops along Rehoboth Ave. is a complete gem. I called a few times to get info for my upcoming trip and each time the staff that answered were very patient and informative with all I needed to know. I signed up for a body scrub, body wrap, and 60 minute massage. They are currently running a summer special and this delightful 2 hour service was only $175!
When you walk in, the storefront is an apothecary. They have lots of lotions, scrubs, candles, sprays, etc for sale. Very eclectic and welcoming. Jessica was my therapist and she was very professional and great at letting me know what to expect and then just letting me relax without all the chit chat. I left with silky soft skin and felt completely rejuvenated.
What a great place to come relax as well as support small businesses. -

I made an appointment for a 90 minute hot stone massage at Avenue Day Spa ready to relax. When I checked in, I wasn't offered a robe to change into and as soon as I walked into the massage room, the masseuse handed me a paper listing all of the 'add ons' I could add to my massage, along with prices listed. This is not relaxing! Plus I had made an appointment for their most expensive massage and they were trying to get more $ out of me before I even got on the table. The massage really wasn't that great, I have had much better hot stone massages elsewhere.
