Wow, what service. I had better service here than at the Ritz Carlton in Puerto Rico...really! I was sideswiped while parked in SF by my house. First good news is, they left a note and agreed to pay, how about that! By the way it was a Business, "One Big Man with One Big Truck" so when I move next, I will be hiring them for sure.
Anyways, I obtained two estimates and yet Noe was the only one who called me back...twice. I was lagging on taking it in, as it was raining. I already knew when I went there first that I wanted them to work on my car, but I had to get at least another estimate just for due diligence purposes.
Everyone here was outstanding. Even the gents who worked in the shop, some of whom did not speak English so great, always asked if I was being taken care of or needed anything when I was standing in the shop. They not only ended up fixing the dent/scrape in the fender, and the broken driver side mirror from the accident, but also fixed a minor dent on the passenger side, for no charge! Again, from the moment I walked in I just had a good feeling, and I had also checked Yelp before, but Noe really knows what customer service is about, and its pretty obvious that he spends time with his staff so that everyone is on the same page and the business continues to reflect that.
Not only would I go here again if anything happened to my car, but hell, I might bring in my vacuum cleaner or blender if they needed repairing too! Its worth a shot! Thanks Noe...Duane -

Brought my Mountaineer to these guys with a damaged passenger side door. They were able to repair the car to a state that was even better than before in a shorter timeframe than what I'm used to. Noe was very helpful and answered any questions I had via phone or EMAIL. Would definitely come back these guys again, very reasonable prices!

I was the claimant in what I considered a small accident. It turned out to be countless hours on the phone with insurance companies, $5,000 worth of damage and a weeks worth of repair. Avenue helped me from begging to end. They helped me navigate the confusing insurance process, dropped me off at the rental car place and when I picked up my car, it was shinier and cleaner than the day I bought it. I didn't have to deal with any of the payment or hassle with negotiating the estimate. Exceptional service, from the person answering the phones to the mechanics to the guy who helped me back out of the drive way safely!

PUDGE IS DONE PUDGE IS DONE!!!!
Right when i got there they were so sweet to me. Noe actually came out to a tire shop to meet me to look at the damage on my car. He was so sweet and so nice, this place is family run and they treat you as part of the family the moment they meet you.
Noe sat me down and talked to me, he asked questions about Pudge (my car) and me, im from vegas and every time i came to San Francisco bad stuff always happened and he helped make things better.
The whole left side of Pudge was damaged and he fixed every little dent bump and bruise.
I just picked up Pudge today and he looks BRAND NEW! they gave him a car wash and cleaned the inside of the car =) and it was due for a cleaning lol.
This company doesnt just look at your car and say okay its done this day this time give me blah blah grand, they tell you they'll check it out, give you an estimate and talk to you about whats gonna happen what their going to do and at the end show you all the pictures theyve taken on the work. =)

There is a reason this place has so many 5 star reviews. The shop is family run, and everyone in the Flores family was unfailingly friendly. My car turned out to be a bit of a hassle (mold problems), but Noe and his family (most notably his daughter Janai) were always pleasant, honest, and efficient. They dealt with my insurance (saving me the hassle), got the job done right, and were cheaper than anyone else in town. My car now looks (and smells) better than when I brought it in.
This place is a real gem. Don't hesitate to give them your business. -

I'm such a jerk.
first I crashed my gf's car. then as if that wasn't enough, I let my friend have our garage and we took the street (which is already annoying). then our car was attacked by some other jerk that broke our window and stole all of her cds. eek!
luckily though we found avenue on yelp. I got an estimate from Noe who quelled all my fears about thousands of dollars, helped me negotiate with the insurance company, and explained all the details of what we needed to do to the car and how long it would take. (and helped my climb out of the red with my gf!)
Doug and Noe informed us on every step of the way and didn't do anything without talking to us first. They were very honest and fair and what I really liked was the dad-like confidence and care they extended to us. when we got the car back it was not only perfect but they pretty much detailed the whole thing too! I feel like that was above and beyond. -

My car got vandalized on Shotwell Street (yeah, you probably didn't need me to tell you that's a horrible place to park...). My window was broken and the side of the car had multiple dents.
Thanks to Yelp, I found Avenue Body Shop. Avenue cleaned and fixed my car to perfection. The job was detail-oriented and service was friendly. They installed a new window, fixed all the dents, and repainted my car in only five days and made it look brand spankin' new. Not only did they make all the repairs, but they comprehensively cleaned the car - including vacuuming and scrubbing down the interior. They gave the works and it looked like it had been detailed.
Noe and Doug gave me regular updates by phone. They accommodated my price range and worked out a great deal with the insurance company. The employees who do the car repairs were equally sweet and friendly. My car was cleaner and prettier than ever! AVenue also gave the best quote out of every other place we checked. Thank you, Yelp! Thank you, Avenue!

Exceeded way beyond my expectations! Avenue Body Shop is amazing. My car is leased so I am responsible to repair any dents prior to returning the car. My car has many dents and Avenue Body shop did an amazing job. Not only did they exceed my expectations they beyond in that:
-they told it would be done in 5 days it was + on Sat when I went to pick it up (they close at 2:00) i was going to be late around 4:00 and Doug said no problem he'd wait
-The bumper had many nicks in it and I thought that was not included in the price and to my surprise when I picked up the car my bumper was fixed, my whole car didn't have a scratch on it.
-they also went the extra mile and cleaned my car inside and out, my car looks like the day I picked it up form the dealer.
They couldn't have been nicer, forthright, gave me a price and stuck to it no extra tax.
You need not go anywhere but Avenue Body shop to get your car fixed they are the best and for me this is the only place I will go to repair my car
Don't pass over them for an estimate - you'll miss out on great service! -

Somebody t-boned my 1974 Porsche. A friend told me to call Noe. He said, "I'll pick it up and take care of you." And he did. After he meticulously brought the car back to life, I receive a compliment on the how beautiful the car is, almost every time I drive it.
During the process he sent me photos of what was happening with the car and the work that was being performed. The feedback loop between customer and body shop was, really, unlike anything I have seen in my experience in owning cars since 1965.

I took my car here last week because someone thought it would be cool to walk down my street hitting side mirrors off cars. Noe and his daughter were very helpful and friendly and Noe helped me save money by telling me that he could just replace the glass in the mirror and reattach it to my car instead of buying a whole new mirror which costs hundreds of dollars.
When I came to pick up my car, they had washed it, which I really appreciated. My car is back in action and looking great! I will definitely take my car back here if needed. I had a great experience here and am always happy to support a local family-owned business. -

It's not often that a careless driver who hits your car in a parking lot leaves a note with their contact info on your windshield, offering to pay for the damages. Just as rare is finding an autobody shop that doesn't make you feel like every $100 scratch is a $10K repair.
I went to 4 body shops searching for quotes before I found these guys, and I'm glad I did. Not only did they beat my next best quote by a HUGE margin, but they were patient, trustworthy and professional every step of the way, explaining to me the entire process and giving me several options for how I could go about repairing my car. They even offered great tips for how to deal with my insurance company effectively. I received 2 phone calls from the owner giving me progress reports on how the job was coming, and today he offered to let me use his car while they put the finishing touches on my paint job. They offered free delivery of my car as well and they detailed it top to bottom before giving it back. I would recommend these guys to anyone. They are nice guys, professional and have a skillful team of workers. This is old-fashioned neighborhood customer care at its best. -

Five stars for the most wonderful customer service, and I appreciated the price negotiation. When I picked up my car, tho, there were a few things that still needed attending - these were fixed to my satisfaction over the next few days.

In an unfortunate event I found myself in need of an auto body shop, a friend referred me to Avenue Body shop in San Francisco. When my Saab was involved in an accident, this was the first time I needed substantial auto body work performed since buying the car. I wasn't expecting to find a shop in San Francisco with the level of personalized service provided by a repair shop in busy city. Avenue is family Owed and I dealt directly with the owner and his Daughter ( the representative who handled my repair) they exceeded my expectations. The Owner was up-front and honest from the very beginning, and made sure to tell me exactly what to expect. Everything was clearly communicated, and I was treated respectfully and courteously at all times. Additionally, I was concerned about renting a car and they even helped with that, I did not do much of anything and in 5 days my car look newer then when I bought it.
All in all, my experience with Avenue was a great one and if the need ever arises again for auto body repairs, I will definitely be back. As of yet I have referred five family members and they all have had great experience there too. -

These guys were great! I stopped by to get a quote for a touch-up on my scooter (most scooter repair places don't do body work). They worked on my scooter immediately and for a very good price. Also, they have an extra desk with a computer in the wait room/office area for you to use while you are waiting . . . how thoughtful.

Some jackass smashed one of my poor Honda Civic's windows. I didn't even have anything in there--my stereo's already been stolen, you jerk! So between that, the tune-up I got two weeks ago, and the alignment work I'm getting done tomorrow, I've had to drop a significant chunk of change on my car this month. That hurts, because I'm out of work right now, but the friendly, courteous, and professional guys at Avenue made me feel better about doing it.
Now, I love my car, but I can hardly ever be arsed to wash her, because really, living in SF, what's the point? So when I picked her up, imagine my surprise when I found that not only did she have a nice shiny new window...not only had she been thoroughly vacuumed...but she was CLEAN. Amazing!
I only have two gripes, and they are as follows: First, I called in and made an appointment, but when I actually brought my car in, they didn't seem to be aware of the appointment. Some kind of communication failure going on there. Second, when I picked the car up, the mirrors were all bent out of whack for some reason.
Oh yeah, also, Doug was a total sweetheart; he actually offered me a ride to wherever I needed to go while my car was being worked on. I didn't actually need it, since I live about a block away and I don't have anywhere to be, but I appreciated the offer nonetheless. -

I wouldn't say stay away from this shop, but be aware of exactly what you are paying for. My car works okay, but I didn't get the work I paid for. Beware.
I have very mixed feelings about this shop. They were so helpful and friendly every time I went in. But, they did not do the work they based the estimate on, and didn't give me an itemized receipt to explain what they did.
My roommate was driving my car when he got in an accident, so my insurance refused to cover the damage. I asked for Avenue Body Shop to make my car safe, but I wasn't too concerned about how pretty it looked, since I was paying the bill. They estimated 8 hours of straightening the metal frame, replacing the broken headlight and checking the radiator and air conditioner, for a price of $1,200. I paid half when I dropped off my car, and the other half when I picked it up. I was puzzled about not getting an itemized receipt, but since they were so friendly I trusted them. I was in a hurry, so I didn't inspect the work at the time. My mistake!
I returned the next day with some questions, and a different manager talked with me. He asked me why I hadn't had the metal straightened. I said I thought I had. He said they had only disconnected the air conditioner and replaced the headlight, and flattened the bent hood. No frame work at all! I was surprised, and questioned why I had paid for 8 hours of frame straightening. He said I got my money's worth, and that maybe the radiator would spring a leak if they pulled it out now. The pressure from the bent frame was holding it together. That made sense, but it didn't explain why I still paid $1,200. I think they spent two or three hours on my car, not eight. I felt ripped off, and disappointed that the explanations were vague and never addressed what I actually was paying for. -

My poor car was cruelly sideswiped about a month ago, and the drivers side was more or less wrecked. That, and my insurance company was giving me major issues and not doing much to help....they claimed that my insurance had lapsed a brief period before the accident and were not going to help me. Freaking out, I took my car into Avenue and Doug and Noe helped me with everything : to advice on how to fight the battle with my insurance company, and details on what they were going to do to fix my car. Luckily, the insurance company turned around and agreed to fix the majority of the damage, and Avenue did a bang up job of making my car look wonderful. When I got it back, it looked like an entirely new car. They did beautiful work for a reasonable price. The car situation caused me a bunch of stress and time, but Avenue made the whole experience slightly less nervewracking.

I wish Yelp would add a 6 star option for the most worthy companies. The first thing you would find on that 6 star list would be Avenue Body Shop. I was recently rear-ended and needed a new bumper and a little work on the backside. I found Avenue on Yelp and was so pleased with their service, I'll never even consider another body shop. Dog was not just friendly and helpful, he left me feeling confident I was not going to be scammed. The office cat did have an odd meow but was friendly too.

I got rear-ended and Larkin Bros. suggested I take my car to Avenue Body Shop. They made everything SO easy. They were informative and super helpful. When I got my car back, they had cleaned it beautifully, hand polished and all!!! it is like brand new again. I recommend this place to everyone. I will keep going back and/or have any future body work done here! Noe and the whole staff were super professional and great!

While they didn't get the work completed exactly when they said they would, I have never had any other body shop meet its deadline either. They only took an extra two days which is not that bad. I have had other shops like Lofrano take an extra week and a half. Noe and his staff did a great job on my Jetta. It looks brand new and they worked very hard to get it done. What I liked about this shop was the friendly personable atmosphere, and that they did not have 50 cars they were working on all at the same time. I would go back.

Best auto experience ever from a non car person!! I always feel overwelmed and confused by any car related issue.....but not with Avenue Body Shop and Noe at the helm!
Noe was amazing and so nice. He went above and beyond dealing with me, my insurance company and more. When a wiring issue came up with my car, he took it over to Audi himself and had them fix it, saving me the time of having to shuffle between auto body and mechanic.
My experience with everyone at Avenue was great! I never felt stupid no matter how dumb my questions were and Noe helped me navigate the insurance claim process. It really could not have been easier!
My car looks amazing and was detailed and ready when I was told it would be.
Parking in SF sucks but knowing that Noe and Avenue are here to save the day, makes things so much better.
There is no where else to go in SF for auto body work!! -

Avenue Body Shop (ABS) is fantastic. If you're looking for a shop that does excellent work and is run by a trustworthy, pleasant crew, Avenue is the place to go.
My car was hit. Then, my insurance company's claims inspector recommended Avenue Body Shop, even though it is not on the insurance company's list of "partner" shops. He said Avenue always does great work. I was impressed and intrigued. After reading glowing reviews on yelp, I was sold.
Please note that I am VERY picky and careful (read "anal") with my car. I take excellent care of her and would not trust her to just any shop or mechanic. Also, I like to know about and understand everything about what's being done to my car, so I ask lots of questions. Therefore, the shop not only must be technically stellar, but its staff must be knowledgeable, patient and friendly. Oy, I know, my car is not my child, but I'm inquisitive, so what can I say?
Avenue's owner, Noe, and his kids Janai and Noe Jr were all very patient with me and explained everything about what they were going to do with the car--this included body work, paint, suspension work, and even tire replacement.
When I dropped off my car, her front tires were beyond bald (long story), her right wheel well was crushed from the accident, her alignment had been thrown off so that I had to hold the wheel sideways and the tires shook on the highway, and (as an aside) she was dusty, dusty, dusty.
When I picked her up, she had great new tires on the front (one of which Noe comped me for - long story, but he has excellent integrity--provides his customers with the best service, is a man of his word and then some), a perfectly mended wheel well, was meticulously painted and aligned as well. She was looking and driving WAY better than before the accident! Apparently, Noe had talked my insurance company into covering some additional suspension adjustments. :-)
Also, she had also been CLEANED!! far better than any wash & detail I have paid for in years! She sparkled inside and out.
Again, Janai and Noe Jr were such a pleasure to work with and my car is happ-eeee!
If you need cosmetic and/or mechanical work done on your car, rest assured, you can trust Avenue Body Shop and will be glad you did. -

If you and your car have been shook up by an auto accident....even if its just a "fender bender", this is a very professional auto body shop to ease the stress.
From the first moment I met the staff at this shop, I was responded to with a prompt assessment of the damages and on the spot communication with my insurance company. I felt so at ease and that my car was in very good hands. They dealt with my insurance company, and did an excellent restoration job in a timely manner. I do not have a new car, but felt it had been renewed in every way possible. This company knows what old fashioned service is. Great service is alive and well at Avenue Auto Body. -

In a business like auto body repair, it's generally hard to trust people. You never know if they are gauging you on price. So it's really rare to find a place like this - a place you can completely trust.
Noe, Doug, Noe Jr and the rest of the staff are amazing. They truly put the customer first. They have always beat other estimates - so much so that I don't bother getting alternate estimates anymore.
They go above and beyond with repairs. Fixing up all minor scratches and dents, even when not directly part of the required repairs.
And what makes them most impressive, is the little things. They often dive me home after dropping the car off. They saved me $60 by removing the SF city parking sticker and re-attaching it. -

I needed to sell my old car, so I took it to Avenue Body Shop for an estimate on making it look nice. Noe (the owner) carefully explained my options and his recommendations. He gave me a huge range from a simple detailing job to something much bigger.
In the end, I went with the bigger option because I didn't want the new owner to have to deal with rust--something that I could've prevented.
Anyhow, after they finished my car, it looked like new! And my car's almost 10 years old, so that was a surprise. My wife and I joked about keeping the car, it looked so good.
To wrap up, Noe's a straight shooter who didn't try to sell me stuff I didn't need. He just told me the facts and let me decide. And it became really clear to me that he enjoys making cars whole again, and that's cool when you're dealing with someone who actually cares about cars. -

My bumper was pushed in and Avenue Body shop got me a new part and installed it for less than the dealer quote for just the bumper. Was a cash job (insurance companies not involved), so maybe that made it easier. But they also detailed/washed my car while it was there. I recommend without reservation.

A total of 5 vehicles serviced at this Location and not one single problem once they were retreived from the shop. The owner and his family make the claims for jobs that need to go through an Insurance Company painless. This is the most punctual, honest, cleanest, quickest, and most affordable place to have your project car, your daily car and/or your luxurious European car taken care of weather your car has ding or it needs a new trunk. We were victims of the classic "bait 'n' switch" at Avenue Body Shop.
Doug provided me with an estimate of $1500 to fix a minor scrape and a loose bumper. But when my wife brought in the car to be fixed, Noe told us the paint job would be complicated and raised the estimate to $2800. Pressed for an explanation, Doug conveniently made himself scarce.
In the end, we took it to Charles Henry and they did the work for all of $400 - and they did a great job. -

It was a Friday night and it wasn't raining anymore. I was hit by someone hydroplaning into me and the next day no one was open until we found Avenue Body Shop. We took it in that Saturday and got claims on our car and an estimator to come monday. Once the estimator came they started right away on monday. We got it back on thursday looked like brand new. They were welcoming and the son of the owner even drove us back home after dropping off the car at the shop.

And now it's not quite a year after the work, and the panels that Avenue worked on are all different colors as the paint has faded. Had some major interior wiring work done this spring (mice ate the electrical system, don't ask) and they said "wow, your car must have been in a major accident". All of which says i was foolish to bring the Prius to Avenue, or probably any body shop, just to spiff it up for the quick sale which did not happen. And if it did, by now they'd surely be asking me for their money back.

The BEST..
I had a little issue with my bumper. I stop by the shop. People there
was very NICE and very professional. I had three guys working in my car and iit was DONE in one hour. I felt the family business energy..
Time to pay.....I was surprised.. a lot less of what I was expecting
If I have to go to a Body Shop again...100%. I will come back to Avenue. Thanks Avenue.
