I have yet to have a bad massage therapist at this place!! Everyone is great!
Their membership prices are reasonable and worth every penny!
The atmosphere is simple, rooms are nice and clean.
I will say though if you have a massage during the day don't forget to walk out with your sunglasses!!!! Very bright! -

I've been going to Aventine regularly since they opened. I get a monthly massage (discounted if you become a member) with Angela. She is my angel. I have Fibromalgia which can be very tricky to get a good massage. There are so many trigger points on our body and most all my massages at other places were painful. Angela is so knowlegeble with anatomy and Fibromalgia that it's always a great massage. She zones in on my trouble spots. Many times she offers things I can do at home to help with my problem areas. I've had hundreds of massage since being diagnosed with Fibromalgia in 1992. Angela is the first massage therapist that doesn't leave me having more pain than when I came in.
Through the years I have tried many of the other treatments. Facials, DermaSweeps, FotoFacial and just recently jumped into the Botox and filler pool. Every treatment I have ever got at Aventine is always done by very professional, confident and friendly staff. Off the top of my head I've had treatments with Marlo and Annalyn, and of course Angela upstairs. Annalyn is a registered nurse/artist in my opinion. I was scared to death to have any injections. She carefully analyzed my face and then made her recommendations. She was spot on...I look 10 yrs younger.
The ladies at the front desk are always very professional and friendly also.
I really cannot give enough compliments to Aventine. They have been my sanctuary for years !! -

As an experienced massage therapist myself, I am always weary of getting my body worked on by anyone I don't personally know. Massage is one of those professions that is very luring to a lot of people, and if you have the money and the time, it is somewhat easy to become certified. What sets the good practitioners apart from the mediocre therapists is their passion for what they do. Countless times I have experienced massage therapists who just fill up their sessions like a robot, taking you through the strokes they were taught, and not taking the time to really listen to the bodies under their fingertips.
I am currently 39 weeks pregnant, literally about to pop. I went in for a Pregnancy Massage with Stephanie, and I have to say it was truly wonderful. I made it a point to NOT tell her my problem areas, as I wanted to see what she would do on her own by simply paying attention to my own unique needs. Stephanie really did an amazing job targeting the areas that needed help. Her ability to gauge the correct depth and pressure was nothing short of invigorating. I left my session not only feeling relaxed, but relief. Hoping I go into labor any day now, I took this massage as an opportunity to practice breathing through the painful areas she worked diligently on, because she was able to tell how far she could push my body in order to get the results I needed. Most people don't associate pain in a massage as something they desire, but as my own clients can attest to, no pain, no gain. Stephanie wanted me to not only leave there feeling great, but have that feeling carry with me into the next few days. That is what a good therapist will do.
I would HIGHLY recommend this spa to everyone. The overall cleanliness, decor, staff, and ambiance was impeccable. Very professional. I will be a repeat customer! -

I've been going here for a long time. Unfortunately things are going downhill. Originally a massage client but there has been a ton of turnover and the newer therapists are not that great. Used some of their other services too but again....tons of staff turnover. Not sure what's going on but if things keep going this way it may be time for client turnover. I'll still give them 3 stars but only as long as my 2 favorite massage therapists stick around because they are great.

Today I experienced my second facial in 10 years! Not sure why I waited so long. Probably because I never pamper myself, but I digress...
I asked my parents for some spa treatments for Christmas and today was my lucky day. Mom watching my sons? Check. Major need for relaxation and maintenance? Quadruple check.
I started off with a facial by Kira. She was super cool and gave me such a relaxing and hydrating facial. I felt so pampered.
After my facial I had my teeth whitened. This is certainly not a glamorous procedure but it is necessary. It took 20 minutes and the girl who helped me was super sweet.
You will absolutely find me at Aventine in the near future. Once you pamper yourself, you never go back! -

I love their happy hour specials! You get a thirty minute facial for half the price. Pampering done right for the girl on a budget.
There was a misunderstanding when I booked my happy hour facial. We rescheduled for another day and they honored the special price. My facial was great -refreshing and the pumpkin mask smelled yummy!
Service was friendly and facility is clean.
That reminds me, I need to book my next appointment. -

Ask for Analyn if you want dysport with no brusing. She really knows what she's doing. When it comes to treatments, she's conservative so everything looks really natural. I never feel rushed, and she talks everything through so I know what to expect. I was scared about doing fillers under my eyes, but finally got the courage to do it (and got a great price) and now I wish I hadn't waited so long. She's a nurse practitioner with an artistic eye and takes her time to do things right. Ask about membership to see if you can save $ by combining treatments over a 6 mo period. I will continue to go to Aventine as long as Analyn is there :-)

I arranged a "ladies day" at Aventine with several aunties. We were set up in a cozy, but tastefully decorated room where we could chat over tea and appetizers (from the restaurant next door) in between our respective appointments. Ladies were so relaxed and the setting was very soothing. The massage and facial was heavenly. Our skin felt silky smooth. There was also a free skin consultation. Gwen was our concierge and was exceptionally helpful with getting us set up but if you have any problems, Patrick is the man to see. We had a wonderful time at the spa and will return for the full treatment next time and enjoy a full meal before (or afterwards) at Campo di Bocce restaurant, which is right next door.
Wish we could do this all the time. -

Typing my review hairless!!
Got my first treatment for laser hair removal for the underarms recently! Everything about my treatment from walking in to walking out was GREAT!
Cynthia the tech was very calming as I expressed my worry about the pain, etc. She completely put me at ease, even conversing with me to get my mind off of the little "pricks" of pain.
I was so impressed by the professionalism of this salon that I am even thinking of doing the bikini line!
Mos def is this a place I would recommend to my family and friends! -

Had my first facial in over a year! I have 2 little boys and this was my first weekend away without them. I saw Joleen and told her I just needed a good relaxation treatment. I had a wedding the next day so I didn't want anything too invasive. The ease of making my appointment was great, the wait time was minimal and my service was FANTASTIC! I left feeling amazing! If you have time go next door before/after your treatment for a spa mani & pedi. Get the shellack nail paint.
Only bad thing is they charged me $100 instead of the $75 they said. I will be contacting today for a $25 refund since I tipped in cash. Another review to come if it isn't resolved to my liking. I'm sure it will be though. -

First off, the staff and facility of Aventine is what sets this Med spa over anyone else I have ever been too. The staff are professional, knowledgeable but most of all, friendly. Then you have this beautifully-decorated spa set near Ruby Hills that feels like you could have just walked into a Hollywood spa, which also come with their celebrity-like treatment simply because everyone knows your name...
Now for me, I was referred to Terre at Aventine Med spa for their Acne care solutions.
When I did start using the Obagi Cleansaderm regiment, I immediately saw a change in my skin. In just as little as a week, only using the products once a day, the majority of my blemishes and bumps cleared up and the scars from previous blemishes had began to fade. I truly am amazed, especially with all the different treatments I've used, I have never had a product line work as good or fast as this one has. It has been worth every penny.
Though I have wasted countless dollars on products and services that didn't do as they promised, there is no investment like the one for your skin. I only wish I had found out about Aventine and the Cleansaderm sooner! Thanks Aventine Med spa for my new, CLEAR skin! -

A bit off the major freeway, but worth the trek. Just a really nice escape from the daily grind. It's full service, so you can get a great cut, waxing, massage and facial all in one beautiful and calming space.

I had a DermaSweep facial with Kira. Kira was lovely and the treatment was great. Derma Sweep facials are more like microderm than your typical relaxing facial, but I have to say I'm loving how soft my skin is now! I'd definitely go back to Aventine and to Kira.

I went for a bachelorette/girls spa day and the facility was very nice. The staff were all extremely helpful and friendly. I can only speak to the service I received which was a Hot Stone Massage. While the therapist that helped me was very sweet, I left feeling like I didn't really have a massage. Maybe the Hot Stone was just not for me. I like to walk out of a massage feeling it. Instead, I felt the same as I did walking in. Other than that, the other girls seemed to enjoy their services very much. Doubt I'll be back since it's up north.

I am a spa rat! I admit it, I love them I go all over and I refer the great ones and let people know about the less than great. Aventine is less than great. First, it is not convenient to get to, you have to know where you are going and it is tricky. I assume most of the 5 stars listed are either local or "close" to the business! My treatment was fine, NOT GREAT, NOT BAD...FINE. But did not like the upselling by consultants,nor the pushing of the products. It was okay not Gr8. There are better more convenient choices, especially if you want medical grade for a good price!

Very great customer service! Was greeted by Wendy on my 1st visit and was very hospitable! She offered me water (but too bad it wasn't cold).
My nurse is Cynthia. She is very friendly and informative! Although the laser treatment is kinda painful, Cynthia makes the experience less painful than it could be.
Have recommended my mom here. Have been twice already and will return for other treatments. Hope I don't get too addicted cuz it's getting expensive...but worth it! -

I took advantage of their $65 hour-massage special. The front desk was very friendly. I didn't realize that they took over Elements. My massage therapist was pretty good. She paid plenty of attention to my back area. I felt pretty relax during the whole session. There were a few rough moments, but overall good.
I'm only giving it 3 stars because I've been to some really nice Spa's (Maui, Oahu, Cancun) so I'm hard to impress. Overall, a pleasant place to go for a massage.
Note: My appt. was 4 pm on a Friday. By the time I left, the parking lot was full. This is in the same complex as Bocci Di Compo. -

I recently had the Hydrafacial with Jolene and it was wonderful. Jolene is caring, thorough, and never rushed. My brows also look fantastic due to her waxing. I love the feel of this place...very relaxing and peaceful. Exactly what I'm looking for in a spa. Also, the location is perfect for me. See Joel for a perfect massage and Pam for IPL. Love that you can get discounts on services by joining their membership program.

I was given exceptional service at the salon today. I called the previous week and made an apt this week with Karen. Today last minute I needed to change my apt with one days notice. Not a problem, apparently. I just got another stylist. Since I hadn't been there before it wasn't an issue switching stylists.
The prices are a bit high end. This is a place I would love to go to all the time but I can't afford it. I believe they cater to a lot of the Ruby Hill folks. But it is a nice treat once in a while. -

I made an appt for a Facial on Dec 30 and got in for Dec 31st on a cancellation. I had Marlo, who was excellent, and the first visit they had a special so I only had to pay $25. The prices are slightly out of my range, but Marlo was very good and my face felt wonderful afterwards so I may need to go back. She also gave me a recommendation for a skin care line I should get and I am very happy with it so far. I would highly recommend though the front desk help seems a little "fake." but that's better than mean, right?

I came here with a Groupon for a massage and was really disappointed, especially considering the great reviews on here. I kind of feel like when I called to make the appointment and stated that I had a Groupon, they decided to stick me with the least popular massage therapist. When I went to the front desk to check out, the girl told me that my Groupon included a 3-month membership, which means $60 massages. She asked if I'd like to schedule another appointment. I said "do you have any therapists who are a little more..." and she jumped in with "firm?" So she knew right away that I had a therapist that barely applied any pressure at all. I seriously left here feeling like I hadn't even had a massage, and didn't particularly feel any more relaxed. Everyone here was very nice and the spa was very clean and quiet, so I really wish that I had enjoyed my massage because I would probably return. Even though the receptionist told me that "all of their other therapists" have a firmer technique, I just wasn't willing to risk the crap shoot again. I have a fantastic massage therapist that I usually see in Danville, but was trying to save a few dollars by using a Groupon. I think I'll stick with what I know from now on because at least I'm certain that my money is always well spent with the therapist I usually see at Kure.

I got a haircut here from Tara and she did a REALLY great job. When my regular stylist is MIA, she'll definitely be my go to. I now have perfect fringe, and lovely layers. I'm pretty picky about who cuts my hair, but Tara can cut mine any time!

From the point of booking your reservation until the time you leave, everything about this place is A+. This spa really goes above and beyond in all aspects to make their clients feel comfortable and in great hands. Karen, the Master Stylist, is AMAZING. I have dark hair and it has always been hard to find someone that knows how to color my hair without turning it orange. She takes the time to listen to not only my needs, but also my lifestyle, so she can create a cut and color that works well for me. The massages and facials are awesome as well! I would recommend this place to all looking for a great value and enjoy being pampered in a wonderful setting!

My last review of Aventine here at Yelp seems to have been lost in cyberspace so I will update.
I've been going to Aventine for about two years now for Restylane and Botox. I had tried several places for the injections, and many did not even offer numbing treatments (other than an icepack and some very ineffective cream). I loved the results but hated the painful procedures, especially the lips, OW!
Aventine has changed all that for me. Cynthia is the nurse who I see, and she is completely gentle. Although the procedures are not pain-free, they are completely bearable, and Cynthia has an artistic eye so I get perfect results.

Aventine is great! I made an appointment for a facial that was 4 weeks out. I expressed interest in taking any cancellations and while I didn't actually expect a follow up after my appointment was made, they called me a couple weeks later to offer me an appointment a week earlier. Margaret, who handled my apointment scheduling, is very nice and pleasant, as are the rest of the staff. Marlo did my facial and she was great. If I could I'd get a facial here every month. I highly recommend this place.

I went to this spa a few months ago and I had the worst facial experience ever i believe the girls name was Tatiana. The only reason why i give this place 3 stars is because of the staff. They were very friendly especially the front desk and the marketing director. Other that then.. this place has nothing to hype about. I would suggest to go else where.

Everytime I've visited Aventine Med Spa I've been greatly impressed with the quality of the establishment -- from the professional and incredibly friendly staff to the care with which they treat their clients. It's clear they love what they do and are trying to make sure every one of their patients gets top notch treatment and service.
One of their greatest assets is their willingness and ability to cater to each person's unique individual needs, customizing their packages and treatments to maximize success without forcing you to buy something you don't want or need. I went here awhile back now.. probably closer to the time they opened... When you decide to go to any spa its always a gamble.. you pour your hard-earned money out on the table and you either win or lose.... very good or very bad....this one took the latter. I went in for a facial... the staff was nice, but I don't think anything special stood out. It wasn't relaxing and I could hear the folks out in the waiting area talking the entire time. I'll shell out my money elsewhere and not go to the cuts of Livermore to get a facial.

I received a facial here a few months ago and enjoyed every minute of it! I don't remember who the esthetician was but she was great, as I'm sure they all are. They give you a locker to put all your things in and a robe to wear. The facial was so relaxing and my face definitely felt more refreshing after leaving.

Excellent customer service from appointment booking to the aesthicians, to the nurse practioner, to the management, and doctors.
The spa is beautiful and relaxing.
Cynthia is excellent at injections!! She is friendly, makes you feel relaxed, and a true professional.
Marlo gives fabulous facials!! Again, friendly, makes you feel relaxed, and excellent at what she does.
I have visited many other spas in the Livermore/Pleasanton area. Aventine is the BEST! -

Another perfect cut and color from Patrice! I followed her to Aventine from the last salon she was at and I will never go to anyone else. She always knows exactly what I'm looking for and exceeds my expectations. The layers in my long hair are impeccable and the sideswept bangs fall perfectly. I'd recommend Patrice to anyone and everyone. She's amazing! The salon itself is welcoming, the front desk staff was very friendly, and the location is beautiful. Highly recommended all around.
