We've been talking with Jonathan over email for several weeks leading up to our closing. As we were anxiously awaiting for the lenders appointment, he walked in with a large smile and a cheesy lawyer joke that put us at ease. He cut straight to the point and made the closing fun, exciting, and humorous. Throughout the closing process, he was attentive, responsive, patient with our never ending questions, and willing to work with our hectic schedules. We felt lucky to be a part of his team for the closing of our first home.

Happy to refer anyone to Jonathan who needs a good real estate attorney! He helped me sell a condo here 6 years ago and purchase a new one last month. Jonathan was recommended by my realtor and I couldn't have gotten any luckier. He was very matter of fact and helpful, he made me feel comfortable in my decisions and it really showed that he was on top of things. His confidence made me much more comfortable when I would get nervous about the little details with all the paperwork that goes into buying a place.
I closed on my place two months ago and he is still making himself available to answer my first time buyer questions. It also helps that he is pretty funny and has a laid back personality to put you at ease. -

Jonathan just handled my closing on a home I purchased. He was very responsive from beginning to end. He returned my e-mails in a metter of hours and was diligent in making sure all the i's were dotted and the T's crossed. The process couldn't have gone smoother frpom my perspective. He was reassuring of the process throughout and made us feel comfortable and confident that everything would go smoothly. I will definitely use him again and will also likely use him now for some estate planning and will documents. Not often you find a likeable lawyer!

Jonathan was very timely and personable in his responses. He was very helpful in dealing with buying a bank owned property-which is confusing and time-consuming. He was persistent in repeatedly contacting the sellers when they weren't responding. When closing time finally came, he was very patient and thoroughly explained everything to us. We also enjoyed his company while waiting an exceptionally long time for the sellers to complete their end of the closing!

Jonathan is straight to the point, keeps you informed, and explains everything to you in simple terms. He's been praciticing for awhile and it shows. He actually cares about his clients and wants to make sure they are getting what it says they are getting in all those legal documents. As a first time home buyer, I was overwhelmed, but Jonathan came in and made everything as simple as possible. He has an amazing personality...He's down to earth and has a great sense of humor. There's nothing bad I can say about him. Choose Jonathan if you want your home buying experience to be absolutely painless.

My partners and I are involved in a real estate start up company. We needed some help with our operating agreement. Jonathan was recommended to me from a friend who used him previously when buying her home. I used Jonathan to purchase my new condo which was new construction. Jonathan was fantastic w/ his communication and explaining all the details that go along w/ buying a new construction property. He worked diligently w/ the developers attorneys to ensure everything that was promised from the developer was delivered. Jonathan was very pleasant to work with and was very patient and detailed when walking through all the documentation at closing. I would recommend Jonathan to any one of my friends purchasing a new home.

Jonathan has been handling our small business filings for over three years and is an absolute pleasure to deal with. If you call him, you'll get him or it won't take him long to get back to you. Prompt, efficient and spot-on legal advice and guidance is what we have received as our company has grown and merged with another recently.
I would find it very hard to find this caliber of service at this price anywhere else in Chicago unless you have a relative doing it for you. -
