I went here primarily because I had become slightly addicted to Aveda products when I lived in Chicago. I didn't know anything about the stylists or atmosphere. I do remember that when I used to walk by, it always appeared to be empty. I scheduled an appointment with a jr. stylist  who was very friendly and a perfectionist, which I loved. However, the reason this place gets 3 stars is that its pretty pricey. I paid 114 for a cut and single process haircolor. That is the same if not MORE than what I paid in Chicago. You expect to pay that in a big city, but in Jacksonville? Nah. Plus my old colorist in Chicago was a highly awarded colorist from Aveda. She showed me how she mixed the colors, which is supposed to be a standard for Aveda. My stylist did not do that. Plus she didn't have to go to any special training to use Aveda, which troubled me a little. That being said, she is still great and I would probably go back for the cut. But I would head elsewhere for the color. A plus was that they did call me the next day to check on me. I wish I had told them they were overpriced :)
