Basically, just another Mexican restaurant in Commerce City, of which there are thousands, maybe millions, EXCEPT this unassuming little pink place's breakfast burritos are EXCEPTIONAL.
First off, they'll put ANYTHING you want in 'em, any day of the week. Yep, ham, sausage, chorizo, chicken, shredded beef, or all five if you want. (*Barely concealed dig at Santiago's, read my review about THEIR ingredient policy*)
My favorite is the smoked sausage burrito, which comes with eggs, potatoes, onions, tomatoes, jalapenos, cheese, green chili, and.........SMOKED SAUSAGE! They fry the egg over hard, and chop it up in there, some of the yolk is still a little gooey (stay with me here!), and it mixes up a little with the green chili and cheese, creating this indescribable melange of spicy goodness, MMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!They grill the burrito and wrap it up in foil, and you peel an' eat, peel an' eat.........KILLER!
They're in a little pink building on the corner of 58th and Quebec, kind of a PITA to get to, 'specially if you're in a semi, but well worth it. Family run, very nice people, I get to practice my bad Spanish on 'em, they smile tolerantly at Ol' Gringo's garbled pronunciation and mangled syntax. I've stopped in for lunch and dinner a couple of times, it's good too, but the BREKKY BURRITOS are not to be missed!
