I've been going to Heidi at Austin Med Spa for over a year now, and my skin has never looked better!
I've had about every treatment there is, and she always goes over the procedure with me, making me feel comfortable and I'm always totally aware of the results. She's a complete professional, but also really fun to gab with (think your best friend being able to give you a chemical peel and laser your pits!!).
I would recommend Austin Med Spa to anyone and everyone. Great environment, awesome staff, and don't miss the make up - to die for! Have them doll you up on your way out, it'll make you feel even more fabulous.Comment from Suzette S. of Austin Med Spa 2/27/2012

I've had many laser hair removal treatments at this wonderful place over the years and always look forward to my visits with Heidi and Suzette and all of the ladies. I have nothing but good things to say.

I fly from NYC to Austin just to get my Botox done by Suzette. Not only is the spa beautiful and clean, but Suzette is amazing at what she does. She listens to what you're looking for and doesn't try to over-sell you on anything. The rest of the staff is great as well- Jessica up front is always a pleasure. I haven't had the opportunity to experience Heidi- but I'm planning on it for my next visit!

I am updating my review since the owner, Suzette contacted me to offer a complimentary microdermabrasion to compensate for the Glo Minerals wait. Kudos to Austin Med Spa for recognizing and changing my customer experience.
Heidi, again, was wonderful. I even tried some dermaplaning on a few areas. My skin is so soft! I especially like the gel mask she uses. It has a mild, fresh scent and is really soothing.
I purchased the SPF 40+ GloTherapeutics sunscreen. I liked that it absorbs quickly and is oil free. It kept my skin nicely protected while outdoors this weekend... highly recommend it for summer!1 Previous Review: Show all »

Suzette is wonderful. She took much care and time to consult with me of exactly what I wanted. I had a moderate amount of botox done, actually less than a previous doctor had given me and the result are beautiful. She makes you feel like a friend as well as the other girls at Austin Med Spa.. I will be booking my next appointment with Suzette...

You can actually teach an "old" dog new tricks.....
What I love about this place is their friendliness. They treat everyone like and old friend and they really do care about beautifying you in the most effective way for your dollars.
Suzette helped me decide to go with a treatment that I had previously resisted. But, she did it the right way, with education and great information. She never pressured me or tried to close the sale with emotion. Many 'beauty" oriented operations flood you with ideas for self improvement. Austin Med Spa tailors to you, and works with you to make it affordable. Why would you go anywhere else? -

If you want to feel welcome, comfortable, reassured and not pressured, this is the place to go. Heidi and Suzette are both great as is the rest of the staff! They are very knowledgeable and never hesitate to answer any questions. They make you feel more like a friend then a client and they are skilled and educated in the procedures they are performing. I ask a lot of questions about products and procedures but I never feel pressured to purchase anything but have always been happy with what I have decided to buy. I am a repeat customer a year after my initial visit.

I have always wanted to try a peel but I have seen some bad results from peels and IPL on the internet and first hand. Burns and permanent discolorations seem not uncommon with these procedures. In my opinion there are people with little education, training or experience performing these kinds of procedures and that is where you get in to trouble and see bad results.
Suzette, on the other hand, is a consumate professional. Because she is a Registered Nurse, you can rest assured that you are receiving your treatment from a trained medical professional with a high degree of education and experience. She will patiently explain everything to you. As mentioned in another review, she does not push products on you. And the spa is a lovely peaceful oasis on busy W. 6th. I had no difficulty in getting an appointment and the staff was even very helpful when I had to reschedule.
I am so pleased with the results!!! My skin looks healthy and radiant. Blackheads gone and pores shrunk. I will definitely be returning with regularity. -

The best thing about the staff at Austin Med Spa is that they're warm, friendly, nice, and instantly make you feel at ease. No - that's not true. The BEST thing about the staff at Austin Med Spa is that they're good at their jobs and they NEVER push unnecessary procedures or products on you. You can count on getting just what you need to look your best without looking like you've been 'done'. I love them all from Suzette, Heidi, Jessica, Aubrey - and if I'm leaving anyone out, my apologies but this group just rocks. I come in feeling old and in need of some help but I leave doing the happy dance and looking good :) Thanks Austin Med Spa. And the Botox is a great price!

Suzette is an amazing person and has an equally amazing business. Her knowledge and skills required for beauty spa is unsurpassed. Worked with Suzette removing a life long strawberry birthmark that years ago Dermatologist couldn't remove. Today after working with Austin Med Spa none can ever tell I had i large predominant birthmark under my right eye. Thank you so much for helping me resolve my problem it made a huge difference in my life and self esteem. Many Thanks to Austin Med Spa

I first visited Austin Med Spa several months ago to discuss some skin issues I've had for quite some time. I called to make an appointment and they were able to get me in very quickly (within a few days). I researched med spas in Austin for a weeks online and found a lot of great reviews and a really nice write-up by a local on her blog "Locally Lisa".
Suzette was extremely helpful during the first appointment. She listened to all of my concerns and was very honest about treatment options and results I can expect for my skin type. The best part of Austin Med Spa is they do not try to push products on you if you are not interested. The only mention of products was when I asked and she was happy to recommend a few of her favorites and some that would be great for my particular skin conditions.
A few months later, I became interested in the IPL photo facial treatment. I was still very nervous after doing some extensive research online and seeing some pretty horrific results from people that went to other spas. Suzette was KIND and patient enough to meet with me for a second consultation to go over my concerns. I had a million questions, and she was so incredibly patient and understanding and went down my list with me. She even gave me her personal email so I could show her some of my research - again she was interested in my concerns and took extra steps to discuss them.
After meeting with her a second time, I felt confident and safe to proceed with treatment. Again, they were able to get me in very quickly. I had the IPL treatment yesterday afternoon and I am already seeing fantastic results! There is no downtime or discomfort. There were absolutely no complications and the procedure was not painful. Suzette knows what she is doing and safety and patient comfort is her number one priority. I highly recommend this spa and Suzette!! I will definitely be returning for more treatments. -

Just got my second chemical peel at Austin Med Spa and I can't say enough about this place. Heidi does an amazing job and takes everything going on with your skin into careful consideration before recommending a treatment. She knew I had to go right back to work so she touched up my makeup beautifully and sent me on my merry way. It's a laid back atmosphere, but very clean, girly and wonderful. Plus the ladies who work there are all so informed, aspirationally gorgeous and funny. I haven't gone the way of needles just yet, but if you've been thinking about doing a peel or laser hair removal -- this is your spot!
