We hired Matt to install soapstone tile counter tops in our kitchen. I have to say -- the counters are GORGEOUS. They look just like a slab for half the price! He also dropped in our new sink and faucet, and connected the plumbing. Plus Matt is friendly, honest and hard working, all for a great price. What more could you ask for in a handyman?
ps: We're planning to hire him to do some drywall and electrical work, too. He pretty much does it all! -

Matt of Austin Fix It did a stellar job redoing my brick fireplace with a sleek, modern plaster finish in white. He advised me in way of materials, budget and got the job done in record time. He does what he says, and he delivers quality, too. I don't always meet contractors who communicate well, but Matt is certainly one!
I'd definitely hire Austin Fix It to do other major remodeling projects in my home again. And I just recommended him to my new neighbors across the street.
Will continue to update as we complete new projects with Austin Fix-It! -

I scheduled Matt to install overhead storage units in my garage. He did a great job and even cleaned up after himself. I needed my kitchen faucet replaced and threw it in at the last minute. He graciously did the additional job. I will definitely use Matt again.

So, I finally got around to fixing my bathrooms and such in my house. I called Matt after reading these great reviews on Yelp. We scheduled a time to meet and he mentioned not being able to get the work done until December. I didn't think it was a big deal as I just wanted it DONE. He seemed nice. He asked for my name and phone number. The day for our appointment arrived and he did not show. Yeah, no phone call or nothing. I'm a pretty flexible person and a phone call would have been enough but I got nothing?

Matt just installed overhead storage in our garage. They look great! Not only did he come in less than his very fair estimate, he got it done in no time.
The shelving looks great and is very sturdy. We would definitely recommend Matt! -

We hired Matt to fix some rotten siding on our place in south Austin and are very impressed! He gave a fair quote on the work, did the work in one day and was actually under his estimate by quite a bit. The work looks great! We will definitely hire Matt again for further work on our house. We are very happy to find an honest, affordable, and capable handyman.

I hired Matt to fix various things around my apartment -- replacing a door, fixing a sink, etc. He was on punctual, clean, and did an excellent job! I would recommend Matt for all your Austin Fix It needs!

Just hired Matt to fix our fence gates. He showed up on time, hit home depot for the materials, came back, and finished the job the same day and on budget target. He even trimmed the bottom of the fence gate so that it wouldn't catch on the ground/grass.

I have hired Matt to help me finish the "fixer upper" that I have been working on since April 29th. He is great! Very friendly, knowledgeable, affordable and has a wonderful sense of humor (with this house he needs it.) He has done drywall, texturing, laid floor tile, hung cabinets, microwave, installed electrical outlet, installed a sink...and the list goes on. He can definitely handle anything that you ask him to do. I will definitely recommend him to all my friends...after I no longer need his services!!! :)
