Review from Karen E.
Austin, TX
I'm rather new to Austin having come from Dallas. And believe me, I have set the bar very low for any business here in Austin. Besides the fact that I hate this airport's location, Austin Fast Park is TREMENDOUS!
I was greeted even though all I was doing is taking a ticket. The shuttle was already near my parking space so the attendant just asked that I park a bit ahead of it so they could pick me up. It only took about five minutes for the shuttle to get me to the JetBlue gate. And the shuttle driver was so super friendly and helpful that I gave him $5.
Please remember what I forgot: KEEP YOUR FAST PARK TICKET SOMEWHERE IN YOUR CAR SO IT'S THERE WHEN YOU RETURN. I didn't even remember I had taken one so clueless me in line trying to pay without a ticket. The gate attendant was very helpful and said just come on over and we'll fill in a form. Luckily, karma found my ticket, I paid and was on my way.
And also KEEP THE TICKET THAT TELLS YOU WHERE YOUR PARKING SPACE IS - it's usually a bright green or pink. That expedites the shuttle driver so he can efficiently drop everyone off at the right places. Without it, you might be wandering for a while.
There was a bit of a wait on the return portion of my trip but they almost had shuttles lined up waiting to get everyone so that was very professional and very much appreciated. And on the way out, there is a fridge where you can grab a nice bottle of water.
I realize there are lots of other parking places for this crappy airport but I'm gonna stick with this one. -

Fast! And you can in fact relax. Their claim is 100% true. Never used public parking at an airport before but have found that the employees here are far more happy and cheerful than at any airport. The free bottle of water was very welcome and a soothing thing at the time.
Just as soon as you park the shuttle follows you and picks up up right by your car in just minutes, and on the way home they drop you off by it also, so you don't have to walk at all!
At rates of around $7 a day for covered parking when you can tramp around the world and not worry about your car you left in Texas, is just wonderful. The garage parking at the airport is like $20 a day, but by using this with fast shuttles makes this a much faster and cost effective choice!
Sorry there are no photos, as they were so fast there and back there wasn't any wait time at all to even take a photo. It's that fast. -

Fast Park has been consistently AWESOME! We have never waited longer than 5 minutes for a shuttle to pick us up either going or coming and 95% of the time we are picked up immediately.
On one occasion after getting into the airport I realized that I left my coat in the car and since I was headed to Seattle during the winter I decided to try and retrieve it and pray that I didn't miss my flight. I called Fast Park from my cell and told them the situation and they sent a shuttle over immediately and took me to my car and back in the blink of an eye. I made my flight and stayed warm during my trip all thanks to the help of Fast Park. Totally above and beyond....thank you!!!Comment from Gina V. of Austin Fast Park & Relax 1/5/2012

Cheaper than the other covered parking place by the airport. Fast friendly vans to get you to and fro. And, it is easier to get back to Austin from this lot than the other covered parking place because when you leave their lot, you make a right turn and head straight into town without having to try to pull that dangerous u-turn on a busy road. Also, their pay machines are easy to use and their are enough of them that you don't have to deal with a line of cars to get out. If there is a car in one, you just head to the other. Lastly, they have a reward program for frequent users. All in all, a very good experience.

The drivers and pick-ups and drop-offs have been great. Courtesy at the exit booth has been ok, until last night, when it was just plain creepy. A gang of thuggish looking rude boys in green shirts were joking and pointing exiting cars away from the pay booth and insisting you had to use a credit card. Maybe that could have been clearer going in. This was the first time Fast Park has been unacceptable. At the point that should be the easiest for them to maintain courtesy and decorum for just a few minutes, they had sneering disrespectful slouches refusing to take cash. Definitely an uncomfortable scene.

Seriously, these guys are the only thing I like about having to go to the airport in Austin. Their drivers are super friendly, always haul my bags up the bus stairs for me, and drive safely but without dillydallying. I've never waited more than a few minutes for a shuttle, even at 2am when my flight had been delayed earlier!
Covered parking for cheaper than the airport, and you get there just as fast. Oh, and I do love my bottled water for the drive home.
For those who don't know - while you're pulling a ticket, the attendant will tell you which row to park in (AA, BB, A, B, C, etc.) and a shuttle will swoop around to get you. Often I have to drive to the end of the rows to find anything (88+ spaces). Don't lose the green card that the driver gives you (tells you where your car is) and I personally keep the time-in card (that you pulled to get into the lot) in the car waiting for me when I leave.Comment from Gina V. of Austin Fast Park & Relax 11/13/2011

As much of a hassle as it is to travel these days, it's at least not a hassle to park your car at the airport. I really like this company. All the employees have a good attitude and act like they're happy to see you (not like you're a bother to them, as in some of the other places I've parked). The parking is all covered so you don't have to worry about a hail storm hitting while you're away.
I've never had any concerns about safety there either. They even give you free bottled water on your way out. The rates are reasonable and certainly a lot better than covered parking at the airport. I applied online for a frequent stay card, which is nice because you don't have to worry about losing a ticket while you're away. You just slide your card into the machine on your way in and then you slide it in on your way out. It records how many days you've been there. Very convenient! -

I'm surprised that I haven't reviewed this place yet. I've parked here three times. The parking is covered. The bus picks you up and drops you off at the car. Sometimes the bus will arrive before I can even get my bags out of the car. There are plenty of busses running so you never have to wait for very long at the airport. They have a frequent parker program so you can earn free nights.
The only downside is that they don't take reservations.Comment from Gina V. of Austin Fast Park & Relax 10/26/2011

I recently used Fast Park for a short trip I took. The attendant didn't give me very clear instructions so I wasted a little time figuring it out. I expressed my concern for clear instructions to management and was very, very pleased by the proactive response. I'm confident they will remedy that small issue.
On the good side, the shuttles were clean and efficient. We didn't wait for one second when we got off our plane to return to our car.
After having positive correspondence with their facilities manager about good communication (written down, signage, attendant, etc...) and some fast driving I believe these minor issues will be addressed and I will be recommending Fast Park to my friends, family, neighbors, and co-workers. -

This is my go-to parking spot when I have to leave town. True to their name, they are fast. It's an easy system and I've never had a problem. I signed up for their free membership/rewards program, so at some point I will probably get free parking. The best part is they have bottled water when you leave. I don't know about you, but I'm always parched and this is a nice touch.

I heart this place. Great location. Never had to wait more than a few minutes for the shuttle at the airport. Fast and efficient.
Rolling up early in the morning is no problem either. They tell you were to park and a buss rolls up right after (if one isn't already there). 5 passengers is enough to make them send the buss to the airport.

We paid $32 for 3 days and 7 hours of parking.
The shuttle buses smelled strongly of dank ganja, both on our way into the airport and on our way back out to the lot over three days later. Either the drivers get lots of "smoke breaks" in the vans or else they're transporting drugs.
Doesn't matter to me. We didn't have to wait long, and that's all that matters.Comment from Gina V. of Austin Fast Park & Relax 4/8/2011

I used Fast Park and Relax in December when I flew out of Austin. It was GREAT!! I pulled up, they handed me a ticket, and told me what area to park in. Before I could even get my bag out of my truck, there was already a helpful shuttle driver waiting to help me load my bag on to the shuttle. Then off to the airport!!
When I flew back into town about a week later, there was a shuttle parked outside the gate. After waiting less than five minutes we were off to the parking lot and to my truck.
The prices were great, the shuttles were clean and the drivers friendly. I will definitely use them again next time I travel out of Austin. -

We've been parking here since they opened. My wife had worked for the state and had to make frequent trips around Texas. She had to wait 15-30 minutes for a bus in the Airport parking lot - dark and rainy at times.
When Fast Park opened they stole the business from AUS - faster, more courtesy, better service, etc, etc. That's when the city decided they need to access an additional fee (tax) on Fast Park to make up for money they were taking from the city.
I spoke out against the fee when asked by a local TV station's news team.
We have always used and will continue to use them for our parking needs.

Faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaast! I love this place. Pulled in and was on the way to the aiport quick with a paper in hand. Which rocked because I forgot my reading materials for the plane ride. Told us where an open spot was and the green bus was there before we could open our trunk!
Then, when we came back from Cabo, we walked out of the airport and BAM, that little green buggy was right there and ready to burn off. They drive fast - but safe - but fast and get you on your way home.
So after Cabo of course, we were driving out and I was thinking about not wanting to stop for a coke or water, and SHEBAM! the gate gal passed us over 2 icy cold water bottles as if she could read my mind.
The pricing was a good deal, the car was covered, the water and the newspaper were excellent touches and I am so happy that I can write a review about a company that just get it right. It's like they know exactly what you want and then they deliver. Why can't other businesses get it right like FastPark !?! Thank you folks for great service and for getting us off on the right foot and then getting us on our way home on a better one. 5 stars for SPEED, QUICK BOARDING THE BUS, SPEED GETTING TO OUR CAR, FRIENDLY SERVICE, AND A GREAT RATE TO PARK FOR 4 DAYS!Listed in: Parking

So much better than parking at the airport. Very friendly staff and drivers, convenient location, very quick on the pick up times, and the daily rates a quite reasonable. The only downside is they won't take reservations. I haven't had to travel on a very busy holiday weekend, so it hasn't been a problem for me, just could potentially be an issue.

I always park here. It's fairly inexpensive and covered. You rarely have to wait for a bus to pick you up. Typically it's there waiting for you. They are very close to the airport if you're cutting it close.
And when you come home, there's a van waiting. If it just pulled off, give it 15 seconds, and there's another van to pick you up. Checking out can get tough if someone doesn't read the signs, but otherwise, Austin Fast Park is always a pleasant and welcome experience. -

I use airport parking a lot. The dreaded American Airlines flight 579 Monday morning non-stop to San Jose, CA at 7am (also known as the 'nerd-bird') has me parking my car at the airport at an hour that I'd really rather not see on a Monday. Below is an account of my sleep-induced airport parking adventures before and after Airport Fast Park:
Life Before Airport Fast Park:
I used to park in the city long-term parking lot. You drive in and end up scrounging for some place to park (usually at the back). You then carry all of your luggage to the nearest shuttle stop where you wait (sometimes up to 20 minutes!!!) for a shuttle to come by. Usually i would just get fed up with waiting and walk the 1.5 miles from the back lot to the terminal. I'm now at the terminal and my parking experience is complete. Upon return, I'm forced to wait by the curb and watch 7 buses that AREN'T for my lot pass by before my bus finally comes and takes me back to my car. I'm left exhausted and hating the city for setting up such a terrible parking / bus system and start trying to rationalize buying my own personal plane.
Life With Airport Fast Park:
Take one exit early, pull up to the gate where I hand my frequent parker card to the attendent who swipes it and lets me know which row to park on and hands me a copy of the wall street journal. I turn down the row and there's a bus waiting at the next available parking spot. After parking my car and hopping into the bus that's waiting and maybe picking up 1 or 2 more people (only if they're real close by), the driver hands me a piece of paper and drives me to the terminal. On return, there's ALWAYS an Airport Fast Park bus waiting that leaves as soon as I get into the bus. After handing the driver the piece of paper I got earlier, they drive me DIRECTLY TO MY CAR where I get in, use my frequent parker card and credit card to pay, grab a free bottle of water and I'm on my way.
It's only 1 dollar more per day than the city lot with the frequent parker card for a HIGHLY ELEVATED level of service. With the frequent parker card, you also earn free parking days that you can redeem later. I really can't say enough nice things about this parking experience. Oh, and to top it all off, all the parking at Airport Fast Park is covered so your car will be safe in that hailstorm that comes while you're out of town. 5 stars all the way. -
Review from Kevin N.
I travel pretty regularly and I think most of us who do so are faced with a somewhat vexing conundrum: park at the airport and you get close to your gate, but pay a premium. Park with an outside service and you have to catch a bus to the terminal: this can be an issue if you're running late.
That said, given the general inevitability of the situation (you have to park *somewhere*), I've had a consistently excellent experience with Fast Park. They're quick, upbeat, helpful and they don't dawdle around when you need to get to the gate. Additionally, the day rates are totally fair (usually between six and seven bucks a day), and they'll set you up with a newspaper on your way out, a bottle of water when you get back home. Traveling's a hassle. But how nice to feel like you're actually getting bang for your buck.Listed in: Austin!

The best.
My company bought a corporate account with these guys a few years ago, so I tried them out. Now I won't park any other place at the airport, for business or pleasure.
Besides the great service mentioned in previous reviews, with which I wholeheartedly agree, AFP also says that they will 'reserve' a space for frequent parkers when they predict normally they would fill up their lot. Think holiday travel.
I love this place, its so easy to get to and when you come back home after a trip (most of mine are overseas and therefore long), and you get to your car, you are already outside the airport and on the highway in seconds. In pre "Fast Park" times, I've sat in line at the ABIA toll booths for 15 - 20 minutes late at night when they only have one or two operators working. -

I will never park at the actual airport again!
Fast Park is cheaper, the shuttles pick you up faster, they write down your parking location FOR YOU, and they have water/muffins/bananas/papers depending on when you go.
To get there, you take the Spirit of Texas exit and then make a left under 71. -

I travel. A lot. I don't like much about travel, but Fast Park makes their part of the ordeal as easy as can be. They're super efficient and they've got great service.
I'm always in, parked and on a shuttle in less than five minutes. In the 20+ times I've used them this year, I don't think I've ever waited more than five minutes for a shuttle. Even when the one waiting is full, another is close behind. The gate attendants and drivers are always nice, and I love the newspaper on the way in and the cold bottled water on the way out. -

Fast Park really has their act together. On entry you get a timestamp and are told which row to park in. By the time you get out of your car and go to the trunk to get your luggage a shuttle is there to pick you up; a few minutes later you're at your terminal.
On return, you just walk out to the off-airport parking shuttle pickup section, get in a waiting shuttle or wait a couple of minutes for one to pick you up, hand the driver the parking spot number the outgoing driver gave you, and a few minutes later you're back at your car. And then when you leave they give you a free bottle of water.
Covered parking, reasonable rates, fast service - what's not to like?
They're in a great location too, you can take the exit that says airport cargo entrance and then just do a left. -

Arrived at 5:40 am last month and lot was full. I was informed that the lot was full but if you were a member they could get you in. I am a member but just cannot carry so many reward and member cards. I asked if they could look me up by my company name, name or phone number and they said no can do. Fortunately they finally let me in so I was able to make my flight and my suitcase got to go with me! Who carries all those darn reward cards! They really need to change that system and let you key in a phone number or something. Do they have an app for that?

It's certainly better than parking in the long-term lot at the airport. I was hoping that it would be more like the place I used to use in Indianapolis (Indy Park Ride 'n Fly), where they would drop me off, my car would be running and heated/cooled (depending on the time of the year), plus they would change my oil, rotate my tires, or do other basic maintenance if I needed it.
They drop you off right at your car, which is certainly nicer than sending you into a big lot to fend for yourself. And it's cheap ($6/day).
Because they're not on the airport grounds it's still faster to park in long-term and walk into the terminal, at least with my long limbs. So 3-1/2 stars for not having to figure out where my car is, and knowing it's covered and safe. And the bottled water when you leave is a nice touch.
That being said, if something like I describe above doesn't exist at ABIA yet, I see a real market for a new kind of parking service. -

I have to admit, I used to be a bit of an airport parking snob. Why on earth would I want to park across the street from the airport when I could park a mile from the airport on airport grounds? I loved circling for a spot close to the shuttle stop at 5:30 in the morning praying the shuttle would wait for me to lug my things. The best part was returning home at midnight only to have to wait another 15 minutes for the shuttle to arrive and then circle around to my stop.
It was one of these midnight arrivals when I was travelling with a coworker who had parked at Airport Fast Park and they shared with me the information that would change my airport travels forever. The staff tells you which row to park on and then the shuttle picks you up AT YOUR CAR and then hands you a nifty little neon paper with the spot written on it for your return. They have enough shuttles going that I've never waited more than a minute to be picked up and then taken directly to the airpot. When you return, there is always a shuttle with a nice, polite driver waiting that then takes you directly back to your car. No more wandering and wondering. Frequent parkers earn points to more parking and get discounts. Hey, the bottle of water as you leave doesn't hurt either. -

I am a *HUGE* fan of Fast Park.
I was flying to see family in Boston on Christmas Eve. Airport parking was the LAST thing on my mind and 2 hours before leaving work for the airport, I remembered that I didn't make reservations--CRAP!
I called the airport to get an airport parking update. They said all their cheap lots were full and that the $10 lots will be full soon. I called Fast Park to see what their lot status was and they told me that their lot was also full, but if I was a member, that they would valet my car and move it to a covered spot once one opened.
Luckily, I was a member! I had joined a few months ago and when I pulled up, there was a sign that the lot was certainly full and they were only accepting members. So, I gave them my keys, had my bags loaded onto the shuttle off to the airport I went!
They made parking at the airport during the holidays so easy...love it! And because I joined their club, I've already earned a free day of parking. -

Thanks to Yelp for this referral!
Excellent professional and friendly staff. I was offered a newspaper and water when I got my ticket on entry. Once I parked and got my bags unloaded the shuttle to the terminal was there. It was less then 5 minutes to get to the terminal. BTW, your car is in a covered port.
When I got back, I walked out to baggage claim #1 for the return shuttle, the wait was less then 5 minutes.
I used to park in the remote lot on the airport, but Fast Park is a lot more efficient. Also, look for an internet coupon for a discount. I asked Fast park over the phone, what happens if the lot is filled when I get there? They said; "we will valet your car at no additional charge" Is that what customer service is all about or what?!? -
