Dr. David Fleeger saved my life. I was mortified and frightened to find myself there with colon cancer. After chemo and radiation, Dr. Fleeger performed a colon resection. He removed all 27 lymph nodes. This is important. A lot of doctors would have only removed 10 or so, leaving 17 that could have cancer. Thank goodness only one lymph node was cancerous, and bless him for being so conservative with my care. I'm free and clear now, after some more chemo to reduce the chance of recurrence. He also removed my appendix while he was at it. He could have only done better had he done a tummy tuck while he was in there!
