Let me start with a little about my experience with Dentists: I have gone regularly since I can remember, but have moved cities five times in the last seven years. This means I have had new dentists every year or so.
Austin City Dental, who for me is Dr. Cook and Martina the hygienist, is an incredible place. It was, by far, the best dental experience I have had. When I came to Austin, I checked around to find the best dentist by Yelp recommendations. The problem came when I couldn't find appointments for me and my wife. (Kudos to them because we both have pretty solid availability.) My wife then asked around at work, and all of them went to this same guy: Dr. Cook. We agreed that it made sense to try Austin City Dental, but were blown away by how great of an experience it was.
Both Dr. Cook and Martina were personable and spent a good amount of time with my wife and I addressing questions we had about bite, our orthodontic progress, dental hygiene and some get-to-know-you stuff. We both loved the experience and wouldn't think about leaving Austin City Dental! I'm not sure I could more highly recommend a company! -

I'm just going to cut to the chase and start this review by stating how absolutely magnificent Dr. Cook and the entire staff at Austin City Dental are. I know most people probably don't consider going to the dentist to be the most fun or anticipated appointment of their day, but the folks at Austin City Dental will definitely change your mind! I've never been one to dread the dentist chair, but I've also never been one to absolutely love my dentist, until now. From my routine cleanings to crown preps and crown applications, Dr. Cook and his staff have been absolutely amazing through it all. Those of you who cringe when you think about major dental work, have no fear! Austin City Dental has state of the art technology as well as Dr. Cook's gentle hand to help make it all pain free. Take my word for it! During my last cleaning Kristi was the dental hygienist to take care of me, and she was FANtastic! My impending wedding was only a few weeks away and she helped calm my nerves by sharing funny wedding stories and was excited to hear about all of my wedding and honeymoon plans. Granted, it's hard to talk with your mouth open, but we made it through with head nods and sounds that vaguely resembled words. :)
All in all, I highly recommend Austin City Dental, and I DO recommend them to people every chance I get! These guys are definitely top notch, go above and beyond with their kindliness, and who doesn't like a dentist who walks in wearing checkerboard Vans! -

I have to say this was best dental visit of my life.
Found them online was a bit timid, but I had a stressless, comfortable visit.
The staff is well organized, friendly, prompt and using the latest technology. Everything was clean and stirile.
I would recommend them if your new to Austin or looking for a change.

I am scared to death of the dentist for no rational reason but the blood pressure goes through the roof when I walk in the door. The staff at Austin City Dental was so inviting and professional that I felt at ease immediately. Dr. Cook is absolutely fabulous! He makes the experience so stress free and is actually quite soothing....I didn't know that was possible with a dentist! There is some work to be done but he has me on the right path to a perfect smile. I highly recommend you check them out.

After living here for over 35 years, I've seen many different dentists around town. Dr. Cook at Austin CIty Dental is hands down the best dentist I've ever seen. He is caring and professional. He is on-time and quick, yet very thorough. If you're looking for someone to trust with your teeth, Dr. Cook is the person you should go to.

Austin City Dental has an amazing staff that is always friendly and welcoming. The doctors are patient and kind, and always make you feel that you are being heard. I appreciate the extensive training the doctors have been through and feel I am always getting a higher quality of care here. I always feel so relaxed here because the chairs face a gorgeous view of the Shoal Creek greenbelt

Because of a severe dental phobia, I hadn't been to a dentist in well over ten years before my first appointment with Dr. Ma at Austin City Dental. I was terrified, but it was way past time for me to go to the dentist. Fortunately, they have nitrous and sedation, so I thought I could just sort of drug my way through the ordeal.
I didn't even need the nitrous! Kristy, my dental hygenist, split my cleaning into two shorter appointments so it would be more comfortable and less scary. She was so gentle that instead of silently panicking like I used to, I actually dozed off a few times. Their x-ray equipment is modern, so the x-ray process was painless and quick.
In just one visit, they converted me from someone whose gums were bleeding to a dental overachiever who flosses comfortably every day and eagerly goes for cleanings every six months. -

Great staff, very accommodating and nice. Dr cook is a wonderful dentist who has helped my teeth come along way! I always recommend Austin city dental for anyone new in town looking for a dentist.

Good dentists - they have a wide variety of specialties so you can go just one place. They have all the latest pain management techniques too. Give them a try
