We are a nonprofit organization composed of a family of member artists or arts enthusiasts whose mission is to promote the practice and appreciation of the creative arts to the greater community through monthly exhibits, special events, children and adult classes and workshops.
History
Established in 1959
A group of local artists began meeting in one another's homes to show their art and share ideas and methods. Since then, the group has grown to be incorporated and recognized as a nonprofit organization that offers monthly exhibits and original visual arts such as paintings, photographs, pottery and sculptures as well as fabric and jewelry arts. We just celebrated our 50th year in 2009.
Meet the Manager: Linda D.
I am the only employee of the center, and I function as the gallery attendant and administrative assistant as well as a member artist.
