Best pictures ever! Aurora is amazing! It is obvious to see how passionate she is about photography. I was fortunate enough to find out about her from a friend who had used her for a family photo shoot. My friend could not stop talking about how great she was! I set up an appointment to meet Aurora. We clicked right away. She was an excellent listener and seemed to understand what I was looking for with our engagement and wedding pictures. She made multiple visits to where the wedding was to take place to triple check the lighting and setup. She went above and beyond!
My best friend is also a professional photographer and she applauded Aurora's work. She said if she ever gets married that she is tempted to fly Aurora to Florida to shoot her wedding.
Another friend of mine is a wedding planner and has worked with Mindy Weiss in L.A. planning weddings for the stars. She too was blown away by her work.
What else can I say other than after the event I felt she became my friend. She captured the most important day off my life with elegance and grace and if I ever have children she will be the person I call for all my future photography needs.
You will not go wrong choosing this talented woman to capture your day!

Aurora was absolutely incredible to work with for our engagement and wedding photography! The photos she took are the most beautiful and detail oriented I have ever seen! She captured everything that was important to us as well as other moments that I would have never thought of but I am so happy she did :) Aurora is very talented, creative and personable. She made us feel so comfortable and her enthusiasm and excitement was infectious!
Once you see Aurora's work, you will know you want her to capture your special moments to make a lifetime of memories.

Ms. Meneghello kicked ass shooting our wedding this May.
Two qualifications I should offer that make me a credible source for this opinion: 1) by some trick of fate, maybe doing awful things in a past life, I know a lot of wedding photographers (so, like, I've had to look at a lot of these pictures) and 2) I hate wedding photography. Hate. It. Or thought I did. In most/nearly all cases, I can't help but feel depressed seeing another over-exposed shot of grandpa dancing with the flower girl at the reception (she's standing on his shoes! he's so old! cute!).
Having said that, I love Aurora's photography, our wedding pictures, and the experience we had with her. "But wait," quothe the exceptionally bright skeptic, "this was your wedding. Of course you like the pictures." I disagree. For someone as anal (neurotic) and self-conscious (so neurotic) as me, a wedding picture is an invitation to point out what could have been better. The fact that I can't imagine better pictures is either a) a sign that I'm growing/giving up, or b) testament to the excellence of her photography. Fer realz, the former isn't very likely.
That's a lot about the end result. More importantly, the process of the shoot was shockingly awesome. Aurora is sincere. She enjoys herself. It comes through. Her honest enthusiasm totally blew through my cynicism and misgivings about some of the posed pictures. She made it fun. She made it meaningful. She made it so not the gross, distracting embarrassment I had usually associated with wedding shoots. As I'm writing this, it occurs to me that what makes her so good is that she really tried to and completely succeeded at capturing what matters to us about that day.

Aurora was amazing! My husband and I received a gift certificate from my sister for Christmas for engagement pictures but we got married quick and moved down south so I kept in contact with Aurora throughout the year to make sure she knew who I was and what our dilemma was. I called her the minute we knew we were coming home for a visit and we were able to find a day and time that worked out perfectly! We met at the palace of fine arts and took so many great pictures. Her creativity blows me away. The day couldn't have gone better if we tried. She made us feel comfortable (accept for the dancing in front of EVERYONE haha :) ) and she really brought out some feelings we hadn't felt in a while. The pictures were done in less than 2 weeks and after I ordered the free 8x10 we got with our gift certificate we had it in less than a week! We loved working with her and we HIGHLY recommend Aurora for any romantic occasion. She was/is amazing and does great work. Thanks again!

I don't have much experience to base my review upon since I can hardly remember the last time I had portraits taken, but in a way that says something about this review, because I thought that Aurora was enjoyable to work with and made the experience better than I expected.
I think one has to feel somewhat relaxed to have good photographs taken, which entails some degree of intimacy and comfort with the photographer, so it's important to like the person who you work with; on that personal basis I can recommend Aurora. The whole endeavor was my partner's idea, and while I could easily have gotten grumpy about the whole thing, Aurora's encouraging and lighthearted approach made it easy, even enjoyable; and her professionalism and creativity made the pictures come out great as well. -

Wow, Aurora was an absolute pleasure to work with, professional, warm, fun and creative! I have to admit, I wasn't really looking forward to our engagement photo shoot. But Aurora was so excited about our shoot, she put me immediately at ease. Before the shoot she came to our flat and helped us pick the ideal outfits, even encouraging us to plan to bring a change of clothes for a different look. The day of the shoot she was incredibly accommodating, driving with us around SF scouting a new location when our first choice (Bernal Hill) was completely fogged in. Thanks to her we found a great, romantic location with wonderful light. And the actual shoot was so much fun! She gave my fiance and I lots of fun, creative games to play so we never felt like we were posing. The resulting shots look amazing. I highly recommend her and can't wait for her to shoot our wedding!

"My husband and I were very impressed with the level of personal attention that Aurora gave us. She really showed that our photos were a priority and that this wasn't just a job for her. She was attentive to the small details, and listened to what we envisioned. We got great photos, and many of our guests commented that they did not even realize she was there. This was really nice, as she documented the day but did not try to control the process or keep us from enjoying time with our guests. Aurora was the perfect photographer for our first family portrait- super flexible and professional. In fact, the scheduled day of our photo session ended up raining.... my husband I were bummed bc we really wanted our photos taken outside, but we knew that we had agreed to do indoor portraits if the weather was poor. Aurora came prepared for the shoot, but when got to us happily volunteered to come back the following day when the weather was better. We ended up with the most gorgeous professional photos done outside!!!
She was so patient with us and our newborn baby, and the prints came out far nicer then I ever could have imagined! And to top it all off (this was done shortly before Christmas) she designed a beauitful holiday card for us and had it printed up at a reasonable cost nearly overnight! We were blown away by her talent, creativity, and efficiency! Thank you for all the hard work, Aurora : ) -

Aurora was a joy to work with for our March 2009 wedding and we couldn't have been more happy with everything. She was very professional and extremely friendly. She researched the venue and went over details with us prior to the event so we felt very comfortable and didn't have to worry about a thing.
On the day of, she ran around and seemed to be everywhere while also seamlessly blending in to the event. The pictures and album were fantastic and we have so many great memories that were captured thanks to her. Aurora balanced formal portraits with artistic and photojournalistic styles so that our album really tells the story of the day.
She was a joy and we would recommend her to any bride looking for a great eye and great attitude! -

Aurora understood the mood we wanted for our engagement photo's and found amazing, out of the ordinary places in SF for the shoot. She made sure we were prepared, way in advance, and paid attention to all that we requested. Our first "child" is a beautiful bulldog that Aurora made sure to bring in as well. She's been solid from start to finish - so professional and personable.

Aurora was our photographer for our wedding last October and we couldn't have been happier with our pictures. She was very professional , sweet and friendly, and attuned to our wishes. My husband and I are both camera-shy, and wanted to keep posed pictures to a minimum. Knowing this, Aurora still captured all the moments of our day, and made us very comfortable and at ease with our posed pictures. When we got the pictures back, they looked amazing, and she quickly set up our gallery to share with our friends and family. Aurora truly captured the beauty of the day, and we would recommend her to anyone.
