I just had my first appointment with Carrie yesterday after researching and reading so many great reviews on this place. I went in just needing a little touch-up. I just had Botox done a month ago just before I moved to the area and I am leaving in 11 days to go out of the country for 2 months. So there were a few spots I wanted to touch up before I left the country for so long.
Carrie was very pleasant, patient, had a wonderful bedside manner, she is gentle, she is well informed and thoroughly answers all your questions. Never once did I ever feel she was rushing me out of there. One of the spots where I needed the touch up was above my eyebrows on my forehead. I told her I wanted less movement but I did not want my eyebrows to "crash". She did an excellent job in the placement, she was conservative and did exactly what I wanted. She used a numbing cream, which I don't really need but it was a nice bonus anyway especially for those people who are a little more sensitive. It has all turned out perfectly. I will definitely be coming back to her. I have found my new "go to place" for Botox.
Love Carrie. I have been getting botox for 7 years and have run the gamut of good and bad practitioners. Carrie is on top of the list of among the best I have been to.
I can highly recommend Carrie. While I was there I had also inquired about laser hair removal and when I get back into the country in 2 months, I will be excitedly starting my laser treatments with her as well!! YAAYYYY!!!

I would definitely recommend Carrie to everyone!
I came here for laser hair removal and Carrie has done a better job then I thought. She answered all the questions and was always open to more. Super patient although I was horrible with pain and screamed through each session I had, she put up with it. She wasn't good at helping me calm my nerves because each time I was always so scared, but never did she give up on me. At the beginning Carrie had estimated 4-6 sessions should take care of my hair and I'm already done after the 4th one! I'm so happy with what she has done for me and I'm very thankful for all the hard work. In the future if I need anything else laser related done, I will definitely go back to Carrie! -

I had my first appointment with Carrie yesterday after a consult two weeks ago. I was super excited and everything she did turned out amazing. I couldn't have asked for better results. I The deep circles under my eyes are practically non existent. It was also a very pleasant experience.*I was not nervous at all. I will be seeing her again when I need any future touch ups! What better way to give yourself a treat?

Okay, I must say that Carrie Rose, R.N., is awesome! I went in to have my bikini area lasered (okay, the whole thing practically). I'm tired of waxing and it hurts like heck! Lasering was way better, pain wise!
So there I am, splayed on Carries table for all the world (okay, it felt like all the world) to see! I did have a paper blanket covering me. Feeling slightly awkward, as an ice breaker I said "so, we gotta stop meeting like this!" Not really, but I felt like saying that! LOL
Right away Carrie made me feel okay as she assured me there is nothing she hasn't seen, and she worked as a maternity Nurse (SOLD).
Seriously, Carrie is very professional, easy to talk to, good sense of humor, and made me feel okay as I did something I felt a little shy about.
Gotta go back another three times for it to be permanent, can't wait. . . -

I was referred to Carrie by an aesthetician who has worked with her. I have seen Carrie twice now for Botox, and both times the Botox was just perfect! I had tried Botox once before with a MD in Los Altos, it was very expensive and didn't last. Also I had Carrie do some touch up laser hair removal.
Aura's prices are very good. Carrie is always on time, and is very patient and willing to spend time with you to discuss procedures.
Aura is my go to for Botox and laser. Next week I will start laser hair removal on my legs.
Thank you to Aura for supporting community charity events. Without local business's giving back, we couldn't do what we do. Thank you for your support. -

Carrie is a rock star! I had been searching for quite some time for someone to take care of all of my aesthetic needs and finally found my own miracle worker in Carrie at Aura. After having unfortunate Botox experiences at both Vienna Skin Care, Minh Le MD and also Stuart Melnick MD at The Laser and Cosmetic Center in Los Gatos (reviews to follow) I had almost given up on finding an experienced and affordable option for my skin care needs. I'll admit it, I have a vain side when it comes to my face. I don't intend on growing old gracefully, I'll be kicking and screaming the entire way to keep my face as line free as I can! I refuse to accept that my face has to look like the age on my drivers license. That just will not do.
I started out a couple of weeks ago at Aura with some Botox, recently had dermal fillers, and have scheduled for some vein therapy as well. Carrie is precise with a needle and is excellent at providing a comfortable experience. She spends a lot of time making sure of that. She is a perfectionist! She's also a delight to talk to, an added and unexpected plus! She carries all the best products for skin care but does not try to sell anything to you. Her pricing is reasonable and scheduling appointment is a breeze. 5 stars so far and I'm looking forward to finally trusting someone with my face again. Thanks Carrie!Listed in: The Best of the Best

Been coming here for almost a year now, and actually barely had my third hair removal session a few weeks ago. Because of conflicting schedules on my part, i kept having to reschedule and push back my appointments, otherwise i wouldve been done already..Carrie, the RN, is a very sweet woman. Shes softspoken and makes you feel quite at ease. I feel bad for always postponing appointments last minute but shes never given me a hint of bad attitude over it...very much appreciated. I stumbled upon carrie and her business through yelp, and called for a quote. She scheduled me a consultation appointment and explained everything to me, free of charge. Her prices beats every place around here, trust me. Ive called about a dozen and carrie's got the best deals! The first time i came here, i had my best friend with me since we both wanted the same hair removal procedures done. Going in, my best friend was a lot more nervous about it... but carrie did her best to make sure my best friend was comfortable throughout the whole process. Im so glad i was able to find carrie and went through with this whole thing, i dont regret it one bit! Thanks carrie!:):)

I have been following Carrie Rose, RN for years!!
She is so professional!! Always takes me on time and never
rushes me. She is gentle and rarely do I have any bruising.
Their fees are reasonable. Sh keeps me looking young and beautiful!

Just came in to get laser hair removal today and it was a great first time experience! My friend recommended this place to me after she had gone in to get some laser hair removal done and at first I was scared but Carrie was great and talked me through the whole process. She really made my first time experience as pleasant as could be. I'm actually excited to go back for a second round!:-)

I love this place. Yes it's clear across town for me but it's so worth it. Laurie is great and gave me a fantastic hydra facial leaving me with a voluminous glow!
Carrie, the RN is absolutely fabulous!! I have had multiple treatments from her in the past 4 years. I was so impressed with her, that I even tracked her down after she left the company where we originally met. She is extremely knowledgeable, very gentle and an absolute sweetheart. I trust her with my face implicitly!
During these tough economic times, it is a luxury to get these procedures done. However, this team is completely aware of that as they offer special discounts on products as well as great prices for procedures like Fraxel, Botox, and Juvederm.
I am pregnant right now and so miss seeing my ladies at Aura. You can bet the day I am able receive treatments again, I will be back here in a second.
Well deserved 5 stars - Highly recommend :o) -

I've gotten several peels and facials here and i love it.
The staff is so well educated and really put an effort at putting you at ease. Laurie is extremely knowledgable and sincerely has her clients best interest in mind when selecting the right product for a specific skin type. She uses Dermanew products for facials and sell/use Jane Iredale mineral makeup. Bonus: They are always up on the latest and greatest products. Saves me time and work.
Carrie, the RN, has been doing her job for over 8 years; Her procedures range from Botox, Juvederm, Laser peels, they even have Fraxel now for only $500.00 a treatment!! You seriously can't find that anywhere.
I've checked around and with their competitive prices and loving staff, this may well be my go to beauty stop.

Tucked within a medical office, this is a little gem of a place. Carrie RN for 30 years and in the skincare industry for 10 years. She is professional, answered all my skincare questions in the free consultation and DID NOT PUSH ANY PRODUCTS OR SERVICES. She's honest and does not recommend anything you don't need.
Office/clinic/consultation room was clean and comfy.
Rates are completely reasonable.
Procedures administered so calmly and professionally, you know you are safe in the hands of experience.
If you want honest advice from a professional without all the sales tactics, this is the place to go! -

Professional, relaxing and gentle is the way I'd describe Carrie. The results are fantastic, and just as described. I knew what to expect and appreciated the honest candor. She even provided me with a handful of samples (not ONE sample, as another Med Spa did), and personally called me to find out how I was feeling and if I liked the results. I will return! I came here to do Botox to take care of my undereye wrinkles I hate. She doesn't try to sell you anything that's not needed. Later I had hair removal with her. Her price is freakin awesome! Cheaper than anywhere else. No package pricings. She believes lowering her cost and paying each visit would be better than having to fork out money for a package deal. Her underarms per visit is $105. Everywhere else charges $170 or more. What a deal right? Cheaper than buying 5 visits in a package deal elsewhere for $700 + easily etc. I'm coming back for my 2nd visit for underarm laser hair removal and plus bikini area , can't wait! She also recommended Retinol straight from the pharmacy right next door like 10 secs walking distance to help get rid of my wrinkles. Slow process but see a bit of a difference. It's strong stuff causing redness and peeling skin in the beginning but later your skin adapts to it but overall good stuff. Great for acne too. =) I'm just gonna go get eyelid surgery to get rid of puffy under eyes and tighten up the skin under eyes to tighten up wrinkles, so I won't need botox anymore! yay! hahaha. Thumbs up for Carrie.

I am absolutely satisfied with Aura Spa. I have been seeing Carrie Rose for several years. She has always been so gentle, knowledgeable,up to date with all aspects of laser and aesthetics. I have referred many friends and family to her. I am always pleased with the results.
