I am one of those anxious cat mothers who doesn't like leaving her fur babies behind generally, even when the reason is a vacation, but I was especially nervous this time because it had been a while since I had left them. From our first "meet and greet" Aunt Kitty was professional and reliable and the way she interacted with our two cats was heart-warming.
While we were away, she was always within easy reach via text and gave me updates and reassurance as often as I needed them, even sending me pictures of both cats. When we got home, we were greeted by two very happy and well taken care of meowsers and when Aunt Kitty stopped by to drop off our set of house keys, both cars ran right up to her to say "Hi", which says a lot to me.
We will most definitely be using Aunt Kitty again, and whether or not she knows it, I'm pretty sure she has made two new furry friends for life. -

We miss you! Thanks for making sure we were all healthy and happy while our humans went away to NYC. (The nerve!!!)
You even sent our mom cute pictures of us while she was away - I'm sure she appreciated seeing our smiling kitty faces. The three of us don't often agree on much, but we all feel that you take great care of us. Come back soon,

Aunt Kitty has been our pet sitter for probably over 2 years now. Before her, we boarded our 2 kitties a few times but hated how traumatized they would be from the experience. Now when we go on vacations our kitties get pampered by their favorite Aunt, and I'm pretty sure they don't miss us at all!
Aunt Kitty will send us frequent updates, sometimes even pictures, by email while we're away. She'll also leave a long note for us when we come home. She'll usually spend longer than the twice-daily half hour visits we pay for, though I suspect giving her TV & DVR access helps with that ;)
On our most recent trip, we left right after moving to a new house. One of our cats was particularly traumatized over it. He had stopped eating for a few days and wouldn't come out from under the bed. I was really worried about leaving him, but Aunt Kitty answered all of my anxious emails and took great care of him while we were gone. I was so relieved to see him back to his old self when we got home. -

We have been using Aunt Kitty for the past 4 months and she has been absolutely amazing! Our cats, Sam & Sadie, could not be left in better hands. They don't even seem to miss us! I had the great fortune to meet Aunt Kitty last year when a friend of mine who usually watched my cats while I was out of town was injured and unable to continue.
During the consultation visit, I was very impressed with Aunt Kitty. She arrived on time, and started interacting with my two cats on their terms immediately (they loved her right from the start!). Not only was she prompt and friendly, she proved herself to be very professional. During that meeting, she filled out a form she had with detailed notes about each of my cats and their needs.
Aunt Kitty has since cared for my cats on several occasions when I was out of town, and I have always been impressed. Knowing that I'm an overprotective cat mom, she texts or emails me daily (if I want) with status reports and photos of my kitties. This is incredibly comforting. I can tell from the way she talks about my cats that she has actually observed their individual needs, wants and personalities, and that she truly gives great TLC. Additionally, Aunt Kitty's post-visit reports are very detailed and tell me everything I could want to know about how the visits went. She is also incredibly responsive via email, text, or phone, which is really helpful when I've got a last-minute trip and want to know if she's available to help (or when I'm out of town missing my kitties and want some instant gratification).
I can't say enough about Aunt Kitty!

I have had cats for over 25 years. I love them. Every little part of them. Their furry little paws, their long, delicate whiskers and expressive tails. I even appreciate their unpredictable moods. I say "anyone who doesn't like cats, doesn't like people." Each of our feline beings are incredibly unique and to be appreciated and considered individually. I have a great deal of respect for the little lions and somehow, seem to have a way with the feline spirit. When I was in need of a petsitter, I saw how much fun my petsitter had with my Mocha, I learned about the business. So I decided to pursue this interest, which comes so naturally to me and frankly, is the most rewarding (emotionally speaking).

Lisa "Aunt Kitty" MacDonald has personally enjoyed cats as roommates for over 25 years. Often referred to by her friends as "the cat lady" she simply has a love of these tempermental, yet loyal and sensitive creatures. If there were a zodiac sign that specified "cat woman", she certainly would have been born under its sign.
Lisa has a licensed and insured pet sitting business, which demonstrates the seriousness with which she appraches this role. Like her own beloved cats, she appreciates that she is holding the care and health of her clients loved ones. She diligently keeps in contact with every client via her Blackberry, keeping them updated at whatever preference they appreciate.
