Certainly can't go wrong with a pretzel from Auntie Annie's. A good ol' salted pretzel hits the spot EVERY time. This was the first time I ever saw one in an airport but locally we have one in our mall and I must admit sometimes I go to the mall just so I can get a taste. I was wandering around the Baltimore airport looking for the sign that I knew matched the smell I was entranced with the minute I walked into the terminal. Apparently, I walked right by the stand and then saw a couple eating soft pretzels. Ahhh haa! My nose never lies! I asked them where they got the wonderful delight from and then proceeded to get my own. I will forever look for an Auntie Annie's in every airport that I go to. Thank you for providing a pick me up and making my lay over a little more enjoyable!

I was happy to have a simple pretzel option to take on the plane with me without stinking up the cabin. Just the right amount of saltiness and buttery goodness. Filling, tasty and satisfying - a perfect snack for the flight.

We all know Auntie Anne's is famous for their pretzels and pretzel sticks but what is even better is the JUMBO pretzel dog. Made with Hebrew National hot dogs I can easily devour two of these puppies without coming up for air. They are the BEST when you have to wait 10 minutes for a fresh batch where the pretzel wraps around the hot dog like an expensive mink coat. LoL . Use one of their dipping sauces, cheese dip, melted cheese, hot salsa cheese or just smother it with mustard and you can take a trip like I do to "HOT DOG HEAVEN" everytime!

When I get off the plane and it is not too late I head to Aunt Annie's for their pretzel sticks. I usually don't like places like this but the one at BWI is clean, friendly and the pretzels are hot chewie and crispy.
I usually grab one with a water and find a place to sit before I trek out to my car. It helps me decompress from the long flight home every Thursday. I sit and eat it while watching people scurry like rats and realize that I too am one of those rats.
